Some times I use to have pain above my thigh and below chest in left side of the stomach. What is the reason of it?

If it is a still pain it could be because of some underlying infection. Try taking a round of antibiotics. If pain is severe with nausea and vomiting and fever then it could be appendicitis. In any case if it has been there for a long duration get an ultrasound whole abdomen done.

Dear lybrate user, try the following tips to help soothe pain and ease into your day: 1> take a warm shower or bath - warm showers or baths at bedtime and in the morning will help to relax muscles. 2> avoid caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine 3> too much of stooping posture esp while texting on phone causes neck pain hence avoid that. 4> start isometric exercises for your neck and strengthening exercises for your legs - consult physiotherapist for this. 5> low impact aerobic exercise like swimming helps a lot to strengthen the weak muscles 6>physical stretching exercises such as yoga helps in relaxation too. 4> practice healthy sleep habits. * sometimes, deficiency of essential minerals causes generalised body pain and laziness, hence go for a body check-up if the above tips do not help.

I am 19 year old boy .lately I have been witnessing excessive body pain lately .i do workout 3 times a week .But I think its some different issue .what is causing this?

Dear if you are doing workout excessively then please stop doing this just concentrate on your diet increase amount of proteins in your diet like you can take paneer, soya bean and fruits and vegetables to increase fibre content in your diet and just do workout for only 20 to 30 minutes per day. Drink lot of fruits liquids.

My wife is 26 year old and having regular problem with body ache and back ache is regular 4 day from a week and low blood pressure. She had normal sugar level. She get emotional in very short time. Kindly give us any type of solution.

Sir the tablets can work inside the body directly to the parts of the body and the sprays will act outside the body. Then how can be that pain killer sprays will quick act on that part instead of a pain tablet?

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do stretching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief see a physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

What you must know about body ache

Affecting your entire body, body ache is usually an indicator of a condition that requires your attention for the pain to stop or a reaction of your body's immune system to an infection. Understanding the symptoms and the cause of the pain is the first step towards getting the right treatment for your problem.
 

The causes of body ache can be any one of these:

  •   an increase in your body's lactic acid as a result of overused muscles (that you normally experience when you perform strenuous exercises) leads to body aches that are not severe but temporary in nature.
  •   temporary body aches can also occur if you suffer from flu caused by the influenza virus and other medical conditions like fever and viral infections, among others.
  •   a cause of body aches can be the presence of a serious condition such as Lyme disease or pneumonia that brings about major infection affecting your entire body.
  •   inflammation of body cells or damage to your body's nervous system in the form of chronic ailments like autoimmune diseases and psychiatric problems can also cause pains and aches to develop all over the body.

What can you do to manage it?

There are simple ways that you can employ to relieve your body aches based on the root cause and these are:

  •   if the cause of your body ache is the flu, the best way to alleviate your condition is to take a hot bath. The hot water works by eliminating the body pains you may be suffering from. Even a gentle massage can soothe the ache affecting your entire body.
  •   for body aches that are caused due to overused muscle, you need to apply ice packs for 2-3 weeks on the affected area to bring down the inflammation. Even the application of a heating pad can help in relieving body aches brought on by muscle soreness.
  •   shoulder and neck pains can be easily prevented by performing simple exercises from time to time such as shoulder shrugs or head turns. Also, the practice of using wrist and forearm rests can reduce your chances of getting shoulder and neck aches.

I am 30 year old female, married with 2 kids ( 7 year boy + 3 year girl baby), and weight 60 kgs with height of 5. 4 inches. Few symptoms which I am suffering from more than a year. 1. Frequently left side pain is there especially from neck to toe during that time no headache but. Why this will happen? 2. Too much of tension due to our family personal relations & financial related issues. 3. Which working at home due to tension will be shouting on kids and some time beat them for simple reasons, during that small noise also will irritate me so much. 4. My left leg muscle will pain a lot and some times reddish clots will be visible which pains a lot. 5. And in my legs black marks are there automatically the tone of skin turn like black moles which is not a mole but it turns like marks in black color. 6. And red doted moles are increasing in the body part but no pain nothing which is there for my mother and father too. 7. Too much of weakness, some time feeling giddiness but will not fell down, blur eyes, unable to do any work at home completely depressed and feel like to cry. 8. Lybrate-user I would like to say that your lifestyle may not be proper. For body pains we would like to know that if you are lying down directly under the fan? that may cause heaviness. Another cause is high uric acid and guoty diathesis. So avoid more legumes in diet. You should also check your diet. It must healthy with less cholesterol and less sugar. Take salads and fruits and vitamin b12 and drink plenty of water. Avoid roti in any form.
