What should I do to loose my weight quickly in a period of short time and what do I eat to loose weight?

What should I do to loose my weight quickly in a period of short time and what do I eat to loose weight?
Loosing weight is not a single day procedure. First do medical check ups. Along with this follow balanced diet. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, sugar, sweetened juice. Eat small. Take food 5-6 times in stead of 3 big meals. Take watery fruits, vegetables. Use unrefined foods small amount. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Drink lots of water specially before meals. Use lukewarm water after meals. Do not sleep immediately after meals. Do regular exercise like push ups, sit ups, plank. These are very common but you need some professional assistance.

Doctor, I had taken Ipill on 3rd may (which was the 14th day of my cycle). I have not experienced any spotting or bleeding till now. My next due date is 20th May. I have been having low backache since a week or so, light headache, creamy discharge and also a weight gain of 400 gms after Friday last week. Does these signs indicate any risk? I am a bit worried.

Hello lybrate-user, thank you for your question. Taking the ipill is associated with the side effects you mention. These include abdominal pain, unscheduled bleeding, bloating, period like discomfort, early or late periods and also of course a pregnancy. If you took the ipill within 24 hours of unprotected intercourse you are 95% sure to avoid a pregnancy. Any later and the success rate also reduces. I would suggest that you wait for your period to come. If it is delayed by over 7 days to do a pregnancy test. Your symptoms suggest that your period may be on its way. I would also suggest that you see your local gynaecologist to discuss other reliable methods of contraception if you will be having sex regularly. Ipill is an emergency contraceptive and should only be used for emergencies when your regular contraceptive fails. Your gynaecologist can help discuss what is best for you.

Hye. Thanks for the query. It seems your body has dropped its metabolism. Also know that giving up rice potatoes or having oats at night don't help weight loss. Looks like your body is not getting rnough nutrition. Please take personalised diet consultation to help chart out a good routine for yourself. Maintaining body weight is not a one time effort that you try, succeed or fail or drop the actions that take you there. You are what you eat. Your weight is nothing but a balance of how much you eat and how much you burn or exercise. Understanding this art of balance will make it easy to maintain your body weight. Walking, swimming, strength training as well as eating are all calorie burning processes. Along with this if you eat sensibly; then you will see the scales move. There is no short cut to losing weight. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Reduce your main meals by a small amount. Take a glass of lime water 10 minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called fad, crash diets, medicines, pills or supplements will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, lose that fat not muscle mass.

How to burn belly fat rapidly .I am following balanced diet although I am not able to decrease my belly.
You really need to focus on your diet. When losing weight, many people feel that it is okay to eat what you want and then workout a lot. This is completely incorrect. The secret behind getting fit lies 80 percent in your diet, while the rest 20 percent lies in working out. Fennel seeds extracts works wonders. Take customised diet consultation.

Avoid going on extreme / fad diets, because they give only temporary results. Count your calories, aim for fitness, eat everything but in limited portions. Measure your portions in small cups only. Everything that you eat needs to be measured. Keep only that much amount on your table. Make sure that you take a bowl of salad with every meal. You can also add a glass of buttermilk/light tea with each meal. NO- Green tea will not help for any weight loss. It is just advertisement, nothing else. You have to find your own solution. Aim for a 1200 calories diet per day.
