See a sex consellor, or try to insert your lubricated finger slowly. As you gradually get comfortable ask your partner to finger, in this way you can overcome fear, but i think you both need a intermediate person to guide you.

Hi Nishant. It is indeed possible to get pregnant with precum as it has enough sperms to make a woman pregnant. However fertilisation depends on a lot of things such as ovulation. It would be a good ides to do a pregnancy test and check.

What Are Blockages in Heart Arteries

MBBS, MD - Medicine, DM - Cardiology
Cardiologist
Ask Free Question
Blockage in heart is a common term used for narrowing of coronary arteries. Coronary arteries are vessels, which supply blood and thus oxygen and food to continuously working heart muscles. Heart muscles, which are not tired working from the birth till death, however, cannot sustain long without blood supply.

A reduction in blood supply gives rise to ischemia of heart muscles commonly manifested as chest discomfort or angina. A sudden complete shutdown of blood supply leads to heart attack leading to permanent damage to heart (if blood flow not reestablished promptly).

But what causes these arteries to block? deposition of ldl cholesterol (low density cholesterol) in inner surface of coronary arteries is the primary reason of these blockages. Ldl a normal component of blood (upto certain limit) starts depositing in arteries as early as 10 years of age!

Deposition of billions of ldl molecules over several years on inner surface of arteries gives rise to visible narrowings in these arteries. Flow ahead of these narrowings is reduced in proportion to the narrowing. At a level of 70 % narrowing the flow is reduced to give ischemia (and angina) during exercise. Gradually increasing degree of narrowing reduces the exercise needed for ischemia and angina; a narrowing of more than 90 % can give symptoms at rest. A sudden clot formation at any of these stages can block the flow suddenly giving a heart attack.

If ldl is a normal component of blood, why it is deposited in the arteries at first place?
Ldl above a certain limit in blood starts depositing in the arteries. Diabetes, hypertension, smoking, less exercise and genetics makes it more sticky thus making narrowing faster. This is why these risk elements need to be properly attended for prevention from heart disease. For treatment medicines are important for stopping the progression of narrowings; angioplasty is a method of fast resolution of blockage; and bypass surgery is the method of creating a whole new blood supply for the affected part of the heart.

Health Tip :

Dangers Of Teflon Cookware

Non-stick cookware has become enormously popular because of its convenience factor, and is now the most popular cookware. However, millions of people are unknowingly sacrificing their health to save a few minutes in the kitchen.

Sure it's easy to clean, affordable and incredibly popular, but this cookware is considered toxic by many experts, so this article is to help you help you pick the safest option for your family.

Teflon may be the most popular cookware sold, with some serious advantages when it comes to easy cleanup and also allowing cooks to use less oil and butter. However, it has come under fire in recent years over concerns about toxic chemical emissions, as dozens of reports and studies from both industry and outside sources. So I have talked to numerous experts and looked at the major studies conducted to find out what we should do about this issue.

A Little Background on Teflon

The chemical name for Teflon is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and it contains an entire set of fluorine-containing compounds called Fluoropolymers, (which are generally toxic) and are the reason that foods don't stick. This combination has been used commercially since the 1940s.

Another potential problem with nonstick cookware comes from a chemical used in making Teflon called perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), as it has been linked to cancer in laboratory animals, and possible connections to elevated cholesterol, thyroid disease, and reduced fertility. PFOA has come under scrutiny by the EPA because the chemical has shown up in samples of people?s blood, which is concerning because PFOA lasts a long time in both people and the surrounding environment.

Depending on who you talk to, you may find that the majority of people in the know, feel that Teflon cookware is technically safe as long as it's not overheated, but when it is, the coating will begin to break down at a molecular level, that you can't see, allowing toxic & carcinogenic particles and gases to be released.

How HOT Is Too HOT?

It is said that Teflon pans start to overheat at temperatures at 500 degrees Fahrenheit and above, as smaller chemical fragments are then beginning to be released, and DuPont, inventor and manufacturer of Teflon, Kurunthachalam Kannan, Ph.D, agrees that 260C is the recommended maximum temp for cooking with these items. However, other findings show that the coating begins to break down and release toxins into the air at only 230C. The next question is how fast will a nonstick pan reach 230 - 260 C? What was found is that it only takes 2-5 minutes to hit these temps, and for non-stick cookware to emit at least six toxic gases.

During some nonstick cookware lab tests, the results were surprising when showing how quickly some pans got too hot, and at very high temperatures. At 348.8C and above, these pans can significantly decompose, emitting fumes strong enough to cause "polymer-fume fever, a temporary flu-like condition marked by chills, headache, and fever. These fumes won't kill you, but they can kill pet birds, whose respiratory systems are more fragile. After about three to five minutes of heating, when the pans reach 360C, they release at least six toxic gasses, including:

Two carcinogens
Two global pollutants
MFA, a chemical deadly to humans at low doses

The manufacturer of the leading non-stick cookware brand, claims that the coating does not cause a problem under ?normal use.? with significant decomposition of the coating only occuring only when temperatures exceed 348.8C, and say that these temperatures are well above the normal cooking range. However, results from a study conducted by a university food safety professor that found a generic non-stick frying pan reached 391.1C in three minutes and 20 seconds when heated on a conventional, electric stovetop burner. And the temperatures continued to rise after the test was stopped. The leading non-stick cookware rose to 382C in five minutes under the same conditions, and if you heat non-stick cookware to 537.7C, the coatings will break down into a chemical warfare agent known as PFIB, that is a chemical analog of the WWII nerve gas phosgene. So your best friend in the kitchen may actually be your family's worst health enemy.

No home remedy for control of hair growth. Treatment with anti-androgenic medicines, possibly your are getting that for pcod, shall reduce hair growth. For your attention: - I see you are obese. You must bring down your weight simultaneously. Otherwise you wont get rid of pcod. Your desired weight is maximum 58 kg, not a kg more. Continue thyroxine tablets in the dose prescribed by your doctor. Constantly follow your doctor's advice. Take it seriously.

Suggesting some investigations: Anti-phospholipid antibody test IgG & IgM, Lupus Anticoagulant test( dRVVT/ aPPT/KCT), b2 Glycoprotein-I, BT, CT, Platelet count, complete hemogram, repeat USG/ TVS. Therapy will depend on the inv. Reports. To arrest the reported continuous uterine bleeding for the time being, after excluding any retained POC, mefenamic acid+ tranexamic acid combination tab may be considered other than progestins. Ecosprin dose may be reduced. Once her acute condition is over, subsequently progesterone only contraceptive may be considered.

Hi, I am 28 years old and married for 2.5 years. I had PCOD for which I had taken treatment. Whenever I take treatment, for the next 3 months my periods would be regular and then again cysts would develop. I also underwent hormonal therapy as I was trying to get conceived. I also underwent IUI once with no positive result. Now, I have stopped all the treatment since 5 months. I got my periods regularly since 4 months. This month, I still did not get my periods. Its been 10 days in excess. Could you please tell me if this can be a pregnancy or cysts might have developed. Please suggest what I should do next.

Dear lybrate-user, please get a pregnancy test done fast as it is difficult to say anything otherwise. Both ways please start treatment early as one iui has a success rate of only 15-20% and if you are pregnant already then start progesterone tablets to prevent miscarriage.
