lybrate-user you have to stay stress free in order to get pregnant, and if you do sexual intercourse from the 10th to 20 th day of your periods, chances of becoming pregnant are more, if both you and your partner is fertile and healthy.

lybrate-user, it's not fsh it's TSH levels. First it's 4.5 so depending on the weight of the patient 1 mcg per kg of thyronorm to be started. At 17 weeks TSH 2.5 is normal if patient is taking 75 mcg thyronorm for 3.37 continue taking it and After 1 month repeat ft4, ft3,TSH levels visit endocrinologist for the further opinion.

This is not uncommon, it might be psychological and sometimes related to your genes. Sex change is not as easy as it sounds, there are a lot of social and emotional repurcussions. Talk to a psychiatrist and if you still feel so, let me know.

I am doing my studies of 2 month duration only and this month if I got pregnant may I continue my studies.

Hello. Congratulations! If there are no other complications or other underlying medical condition, you can continue with your studies as 2 months studies wouldn't make much difference, but keep taking frequent rest and breaks along with proper balanced and healthy food intake......all the best for both - studies and pregnancy! Take care.

Premature Menopuase - 8 Impacts On Female Health

DNB - Obstetrics & Gynecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist,
Premature Menopuase - 8 Impacts On Female Health

During the natural course of events, a women's body starts its reproductive phase with menarche and at about 50 years of age, attains menopause. This is when the reproductive function ceases and the ovaries stop producing the hormone estrogen and progesterone. In some cases, for various reasons including medical, the ovaries stop functioning earlier, and this is medically termed early or premature menopause. Menopause that occurs before 40 years of age is termed premature menopause; it is due to primary ovarian insufficiency and occurs in 1% of the women.  If it occurs between 45 to 50 years, it is termed early menopause.
Causes: Normal ageing, family history, genetic disorders, autoimmune disorders, toxins, and surgery are some reasons that could lead to premature menopause.
Effects: Estrogen and progesterone have a lot of beneficial effects on a women's body. Reduction in their levels leads to some of the below changes:
- Emotional changes like mood swings, irritability, and in some cases depression, especially in premature menopause.
- Irregular cycles before complete cessation of the menstrual cycles.
- General mucosal dryness leading to vaginal dryness, dry skin, dry eyes.
- There also would be urinary incontinence and reduced sex drive due to reduced hormone levels.
- For women who still would want to have children, infertility would be a big cause for concern. This could lead to other emotional issues, worsening the depression.
- Osteoporosis - Bones lose their density and get weak and are more prone to fracture.
- Cardiovascular health - Post menopause, women are more prone to heart attacks and stroke. Though not fully proven, this is believed to be true as the good role that estrogen plays on blood vessels is negated with menopause.
- Accelerated ageing - Menopause leads to accelerated damage of genetic structures, thereby leading to faster ageing. This also leaves a feeling in the women of being less attractive and less desirable.
There is also a good news, that after menopause women are at lesser risk of cancer - especially breast and ovarian.
It is not easy for women to handle premature menopause. The body undergoes some changes much earlier than expected, and it requires a lot of support and caring and comforting to come to terms with it - especially if associated with infertility or chemotherapy for cancer. Emotional issues of not being able to have children and feeling less attractive require frank talks to boost the person's confidence and increase self-worthiness.
It is easier said than done, but one of the key ways to handle premature menopause is an open discussion.

I faces problem and a lot of pain during menstrual cycle. How can reduce the pain.
During painful cycles, you will need bed rest. Drink lots of fluids. Use a hot water bottle to relieve the pain. Food should be bland and easily digestible. Vacate urine and stool timely, do not keep holding due to the pain. Try deep breathing exercises and yoga. There are many anti spasmodic medicines in the market. You can try them. Certain more serious causes of pain during cycles need to be ruled, since they can affect future fertility.

I am having irregular bleeding that is light bleeding can I know when is my overy release the next egg to get pregnant.

I am having irregular bleeding that is light bleeding can I know when is my overy release the next egg to get pregnant.
Usually ovulation happens about 14 days before the next expected period. As your periods are irregular it is difficult to count it exactly. If it is not possible you can use other methods also. You can also understand ovulation by noting variation in body temperature and consistency of cervical mucous. A basal body temperature is recorded each day of a month for a certain period to determine when the woman's most fertile period is. The temperature of a woman rises by 0.5 to 1.5 degrees during ovulation. The cervical mucous appears clear, stretchy and like egg white in consistency. This is a clear sign that the woman is ovulating. Certain women have a dull ache in the lower abdomen during ovulation which may last just a few seconds to a few hours. This may be an excellent clue to determining the womans most fertile period. Some women have spotting during ovulation, making it easier to know when the fertile period of the woman is.

The condition is termed as Metrorrhagia also known as the dysfunctional uterine bleeding is a problem that women suffer from. Metrorrhagia is common, with patients who are near to their menopausal phase. Basically, this condition is characterized by bleeding episodes (mainly spotting but can lead to severe bleeding) outside the menstrual phase. Metrorrhagia is considered a symptom of a possible health problem but shouldn’t be handled as a serious health problem right away. One should not panic. Some of the main cause are----------- • Endometrial hyperplasia. This condition is said to be a result of abnormal levels of estrogen and decreased levels of progesterone. This abnormality in hormonal levels would then prompt excessive endometrial cells. • Uterine cancer. This is considered a common cause of the metrorrhagia. Increasing age is related to uterine cancer, making postmenopausal women as victims of the uterine cancer. Tumors such as those found in ovarian cysts can result to abnormal off-menstrual bleeding. • Ruptured polyps. There are cases where a woman is unaware that she has cervical polyps. Somehow, after sexual contact, it will be identified. Postcoital bleeding should not be taken lightly, as this may indicate for presence of polyps in the cervix or endometrium. • Cervical dysplasia. This condition is a pre-cancer stage that involves vaginal spotting as a symptom. This may be indicative that cancer development is in progress. • Cervicitis. This is known as infection of the cervix. Bleeding during the infection would indicate prompt attention as this may progress to a chronic problem. • Abortion or miscarriage. This is a common cause of vaginal bleeding. There are cases where after abortion, fetal parts are left that can cause for vaginal infection and bleeding. • Infection. Sexually transmitted infection/s is a probable cause of metrorrhagia. Syphilis is known to cause vaginal bleeding. Those who have Lyme disease are prone to metrorrhagia as they become susceptible to infections. • Hormonal imbalance. There are underlying conditions such as hyperthyroidism/hypothyroidism that cause hormonal imbalance. • Coagulation problems. Women who have an underlying coagulation (blood clotting) problem such as those prone to bleeding are highly susceptible to metrorrhagia. • Use of contraception. The use of devices that can traumatize the vaginal or uterine lining can cause bleeding. IUD is a common device to cause metrorrhagia. Treatment depends upon the cause of Uterine bleeding and for that a thorough physical examination is required. So my advise is to immediately consult a gynaecologist so as to diagnose the underlying cause at the earliest and treatment given accordingly.

Diabetic Diet - What To Eat What Not To

Diabetic Diet - What To Eat What Not To

Eat more Healthy fats from raw nuts, olive oil, fish oils, flax seeds, whole milk dairy, or avocados fruits and vegetables ideally fresh, the more colorful the better; whole fruit rather than juices high-fiber cereals and breads made from whole grains or legumes fish and shellfish, organic, free-range chicken or turkey high-quality protein such as eggs, beans, milk, cheese, and unsweetened yogurt

Focus on high-fiber complex carbohydrates also known as slow-release carbs. They are digested more slowly, thus preventing your body from producing too much insulin.

Eat less

Trans fats from partially hydrogenated or deep-fried foods packaged and fast foods, especially those high in sugar, baked goods, sweets, chips, desserts white bread, sugary cereals, refined pastas or rice processed meat and red meat from animals fed with antibiotics, growth hormones, and GMO feed low-fat products that have replaced fat with added sugar, such as fat-free yogurt

Carbohydrates have a big impact on your blood sugar levels more so than fats and proteins so you need to be smart about what types of carbs you eat. Limit refined carbohydrates like white bread, pasta, and rice, as well as soda, candy, packaged meals, and snack foods.
