- Lose weight

- Quit smoking

- Save money

- Cut back on alcohol
While much has been written about the health benefits of a small amount of alcohol, too much tippling is still the bigger problem. (In fact, binge drinking seems to be on the rise.)
Drinking alcohol in excess affects the brain’s neurotransmitters and can increase the risk of depression, memory loss, or even seizures.
Chronic heavy drinking boosts your risk of liver and heart disease, hypertension, stroke, and mental deterioration, and even cancers of the mouth, throat, liver, and breast.

- Get more sleep
You probably already know that a good night’s rest can do wonders for your mood—and appearance. But sleep is more beneficial to your health than you might realize.
A lack of sleep has been linked to a greater risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes. And sleep is crucial for strengthening memories (a process called consolidation).
So take a nap—and don’t feel guilty about it.

- Travel
The joys and rewards of vacations can last long after the suitcase is put away. "We can often get stuck in a rut, and we can’t get out of our own way".
But travelling allows us to tap into life as an adventure, and we can make changes in our lives without having to do anything too bold or dramatic.

- Be Happy As much you can
Live your life. Be happy as you can be, let go of the things that don't matter, and fight.

Hello, Looking at your height and weight you have grade 1 obesity with a BMI of 33.75 kgs/M2. This can be a major contributory factor for your future problem. Since you have no diabetes now, it is important for you to cut your weight (ideal weight 55 kgs). By leaving breakfast there is nothing going to happen. Breakfast is said to be the best meal of the day, as keeps ones energy level high through the day. Thanks.

Often am getting headache. Am not getting sleep properly, if I sleep for 3hrs I feel I have slept for long time.
*Try to keep to a regular timing for going to bed*Avoid fried and heavy foods. Eat early and light food at night so that the food is almost digested by the time you go to bed. *Prefer fruits and green vegetables. *Fix daily work schedule and be busy with your work. Don’t keep pending problems in mind. Note down the points and leave them for next day’s action. *Don’t do stimulating mental work or keep watching TV which can keep your mind agitated or active. This will not allow you to sleep. LCD screen will also have adverse effect. *Day’s physical exercise makes you tired and induces sleep. *A warm bath in the evening will also be helpful. *Low volume music also induces sleep. *Keep your bed room neat, dark and cool. You may cover your eyes with bed sheet. *Drink plenty of water during the day rather than toward bedtime. *Don’t have stimulating drinks like tea or coffee Drinking a glass of milk before going to bed is fine. The problem can be treated by homeopathy and without adverse effects. Take Nux vomica 200 once daily for 6 days.You may opt for private consultation. (Prime Rs. 149/)

I am facing some skin problem for the last 2 years but it gets more irritable in winter with red colored few lining on various part of the body. This red colored mark/lining will disappear withing fe minutes and will again developed in other spot, with changing spots frequently in different spot of the body with itching. I shown to many skin experts, medicines get me somehow relief, but not permanent relief. Recently I change the doctor, he suggested me "hydil 10" tabs and one lotion (dr. Reddy's venusia -lotion cream) cream for application on affected area. This medicine also reduced and controlled, but not permanent relief. Some doctors told me it is "urticaria" thanks please suggest me.

Hi, you can follow these advice- 1. Rest on bed which is not too hard and not too soft, 2. While lying on back, keep pillow under the knees. 3. While side lying, keep pillow between the knees. 4. Advice him to take rest as much as he can 5. Add dairy products and calcium components in meal. 6. Avoid prolong siiting. Send me x-ray report and other investigation report if available. It will help me to diagnose the route cause of the pain. Thanks.

Hello doctor, my mother have black spots on her cheeks earlier they were hardly noticeable but now week by week they are getting darker. I come to know its melasma. My mother is using many home remedies from past few months but they are not showing any results. Kindly suggest any effective cream for treatment.

Hello, Common reasons for dark circle are aging, genetics, nutritional deficiency (of vitamin A, C, K, E), sleep deprivation, worm-infestation, anemia, smoking & drinking, dehydration, sun exposure, allergies, stress/ tension and hormonal changes. Dark circles are linked to anemia, and liver diseases. So, in case of dark circles which are there due to some underlying cause can be get rid rid of once the causative factor is rectified. But the dark circles which are inherited from our genes can't be removed completely, to some extent can make slightly better. Diet and Management: Always take a balanced diet rich in green leafy vegetable, dairy products and all types of fruits to keep your body healthy. It is advisable to have at least 10-12 glasses of water and include fresh fruit daily. It is also advisable to restrict the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, alcohol and other caffeinated drinks as it aggravates dehydration. Take enough of 6-8 hrs. Of sleep. Avoid taking stress/ tension. Do daily exercising regularly as it increases oxygen carrying capacity of the cells and tissues. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Cina 1M/ one dose at night for 10 days; Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. - both twice daily for 20 days. Revert me there after.

Tip- I will suggest you to take a shower with warm water or just wash your face, forearms,legs with soap and water at bedtime for a peaceful sleep.

Take high calorie and high protein diet do excercise or walk regularly. Don't skip brkfst. With brkfst take 1 glass of milk n add 2 badam n 2 anjeer. Essential bn 4 scoop with 200 milk.
