Diet restrictions: for most situations, common sense will tell you what to avoid. Hard, sticky, chewy, and brittle foods and foods high in sugar must be avoided. Hard and brittle foods can break or damage wires and brackets. Broken brackets lead to delays in your treatment progress. Sticky and chewy foods can get caught between brackets and wires. Minimize sugary foods; they cause tooth decay and related problems. Nail/cuticle biting, pencil and pen chewing and chewing on foreign objects should be avoided. Avoid these foods - bubble gum (sugar-free gum is okay), sticky candy, nuts, popcorn, hard breads crust/rolls, pizza crust, apples and carrots (unless cut into small pieces or shredded), minimize sugary foods like: cake ice cream cookies candy try to avoid: soda sweetened tea any drinks with excess sugar.

Lybrate-user, madam, looking at her height and weight it is clear that she has (bmi 51.94kg/m2) morbid obesity, which is the main reason for her problems with joints and joint pain. Unless the weight is reduced joint pain will not go away. She may have to look the option of bariatric surgery, which can help in reduction weight.

According to ayurveda skin diseases are due to pitta dosha and rakta vikriti. So our medicines work on these doshas. And ultimately treats the disease. But for complete treatment you have to strictly follow diet chart. And you have to take medicines regularly. There are many medicines available for this purpose like panch nimbadi churna. I had many boil under my hip for 5 yrs, which is not get rid, the puss will never come out. Please help me to recover.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
Apply warm compresses and soak the boil in warm water. This will decrease the pain and help draw the pus to the surface. Once the boil comes to a head, it will burst with repeated soakings. This usually occurs within 10 days of its appearance. You can make a warm compress by soaking a wash cloth in warm water and squeezing out the excess moisture.
