Lot of people do. Specially youngsters. Your exposure to sun is limited and your diet intake is poor and this is the sole reason behind these defeciencies. 1. Spend about 30 minutes daily out in the sun, preferably between 9 to 10 am or 5 to 6 pm 2. Have a good diet - one bowl of fresh fruits and one bowl of boiled vegetables daily is recommended. 3. Include natural iron supplements in the form of dates, raisins and almonds in your daily diet. 4, exercise regularly to promote circulation and to improve absorption.

And I have also dark circle in my under eye.
What I need to do please consult ...
Effective prevention by avoiding dusty atmosphere is the general solution. You may use mask if dust exposure is for long period on particular days. Some special herbal combos having simple quality herbs n minerals have been developed by our professional group for our own patients. It helps to create immunity against repeated allergic episodes when used over some time. For dark circles clean the gut, remain stress free by deep breathing and fresh air walks, have nutritious food with iron such as leafy salads, fibrous fruits etc. For applications natural cream of milk (accumulated over raw milk) and saffron, turmeric, barberis aristata, rubia cordifolia powders mixed in it may be applied each night and washed in the morning. Oral use of blood purifying herbal combos are also useful alongwith it for better effect.

I met with an accident near about 2 years ago everything is fine but just it left the scars on my both hands what to do to get rid from this scars as it looks so bad.

Acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, Don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction(rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, Avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin E on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin E to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study , applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing. In the study, vitamin E either had no effect or made matters worse for 90% of the patients, and 33% who put vitamin E on the skin developed a contact dermatitis. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk. I being a both a registered dietitian (RD) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications . I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for Rx.

BHMS
Homeopath,
I have pimples and acnes on my face. I am using betnovate-N since two months. It doesn't work properly what should I ...
Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you whenever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.
