Hello, it is natural to get belly fat when you are on complete bed rest. -drink warm water instead of cold. -drink warm water with lemon every morning, -cut your daily calorie intake by 25% in a way that your body does not feel weak.(example, make healthy substitutes for unhealthy snacks or eat steamed rice instead of pulav etc.) -do kapal bhati for ten minutes every evening, it comes under pranayam, is a breathing process that will help you loose belly fat.

I am facing a terrible pain in my left forearm from 2012 onwards, some times the pain is terrible that I can't bear it. It's like I need to cut open and see. That much of pain. This pain frequently occurs. Some times it last for about 1 day, some times a week, some times even a month. I had taken the MRI Scan too, but all negative the report says. Please tell me what solution is there for this pain.

It could be due to infection in the prostate. Rather reports are there that masturbation relieves enlargement to some extent. But avoid it if it's prostatitis. For the time being pl take black bitumen based puncture vine powder (Tribulus). It's very effective remedy. For proper treatment pl consult.

As per your complain it seems there is sudden strain in your back muscles. Not to worry. Let me help you with some precautions and treatment that will help you to recover soon. Precautions: 1. Avoid forward bending, if required then bend your knees first and then bend forward. 2. Avoid weight lifting. 3. Sit in chairs or car seats with proper back support. 4. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your basck like sidelying. 5. Get enough vit d from sun as vit d keep bones strong including spine, 6. Drink plenty of water to enhance the inter vertebral disks 7. Avoid standing in the one position for a long time. 8. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back. Physio care: I would recommend you for I-care treatment that is especially for back or neck pain. Rest required but it doesn't mean a complete bed rest. Do not over exert your body. Work take rest and then work so that you do not feel tired and started paining. Treatment- 1. Apply ice or heat which ever suits you directly to the area of low back pain will decrease swelling and inflammation, and ease your discomfort. Apply it for 10 to 15 minutes only. 2.Relaxing for 5 minutes after ice or heat treatment. Massage - Ask someone to massage your painful area using fingers or thumb. Massage using kneading technique. Slightly press the thumb and start rotating as it helps to induce relaxation, relieve pain, and reduce levels of stress chemicals, such as cortisol and noradrenaline. It will give you pain relief for time being. 3. After massage again relax for 5 min and apply any pain relieving ointment eg - volini or oraflame gel etc. Make sure not to do massage with the gel, it should not penetrate the body. Just a topical application of gel should be done. 4. Again relax your body for 5 minutes and perform some normal back extension and hamstring stretching exercises to get relief from your pain. While performing exercises if pain occurs then would recommend you to stop doing exercise. Massage or slightly rub the painful area and consult your near by physio to diagnose the actual cause of the pain as he/she can guide you proper exercise plan which will be beneficial for you after checking grade of your back pain. For any doubt please contact right away. Get Well Soon Best Regards

Why Do Women Face Joint Pain Problems More than Men?

Ask Free Question
Joint pain refers to discomfort, aches, and soreness in any of the body's joints. Arthritis is a frequent cause of joint pain. The two main forms of arthritis, which may cause joint pain, are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. In fact, arthritis affects over 180 million people in India, with most of them being under the age of 25, and women in the age bracket of 20-40 being most severely affected by rheumatoid arthritis. Other common causes of joint pain are bursitis, lupus, gout, infection of the bone, cancer, and rickets.

Women face the problem of joint pain mostly because of menopause. Estrogen reduction during menopause very often means a bone loss that puts women at risk for osteoporosis. It is the thinning of the bone that dramatically increases the risk of fracture in women. Fractures due to osteoporosis affect about half of the women over 50.

Osteoporosis is a silent problem but osteoarthritis makes itself known. It causes achy joints, which can be very painful. Osteoarthritis results from the loss of cartilage in a joint, which causes the bones to rub together, eventually damaging the joint.

Joints, which experience high impacts such as hips and knees, tend to be most affected by menopausal arthritis. Hands and fingers can also be affected. Dehydration in women can also cause joint pain because of a buildup of uric acid, which can cause inflammation in the joints.

How can you as a woman prevent joint pain?

It is important to reduce the pressure of repetitive strain. Some exercises such as yoga and swimming are beneficial for strengthening your muscles and joints without exerting too much pressure on them.

Diet can have a positive influence on your joint health too. Fruits and vegetables have properties, which reduce inflammation (such as tomatoes, olive oil, and green, leafy vegetables to name a few). Having a balanced diet will not only help you with many menopause symptoms but will keep your weight in check, thereby preventing obesity and consequently joint pain.

I have severe knee pain for last 2 months.
Joint pain can be caused by a number of issues, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, bursitis, tendinitis or a strain, sprain or other injury affecting the ligaments, bursae or tendons surrounding a joint. It can occur in any part of the body but is most common in the knees, shoulders and hips. The pain can range from mild to severe and may be accompanied by swelling and stiffness in one or more joints. Severe joint pain, especially when caused by degenerative conditions like arthritis, needs proper diagnosis and treatment. You should also consult your doctor if your joint pain is accompanied by swelling, redness and tenderness, or lasts for more than three days. But, you can get rid of mild joint pain with the help of natural home remedies. Massage massage therapy helps relieve joint pain by improving circulation and soothing inflammation. In fact, several studies indicate that regular massage can improve pain, stiffness and range of motion in the affected joint. To massage the affected area, use warm oil like coconut, olive, mustard, castor or garlic oil and apply gentle pressure while massaging. Hot and cold compresses alternating hot and cold compresses can also help ease joint pain. Heat therapy helps decrease pain, increase blood flow and relax sore muscles and joints. Cold therapy reduces inflammation and numbs the areas around the affected joint. 1. Wrap both compresses in separate towels before using them. They should not be applied directly to the skin. 2. Place the hot compress on the affected area for about three minutes. 3. Remove the compress and immediately put a cold compress in its place for about one minute. 4. Repeat the process for 15 to 20 minutes a few times daily until you get relief. Note: do not use heat therapy if the affected area is red, hot and irritated. Do not use cold therapy if you have circulatory problems. Turmeric turmeric is an excellent ayurvedic remedy for joint pain. It contains an active ingredient called curcumin with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In a 2009 study published in the journal of alternative and complementary medicine, researchers compared the effectiveness of this compound to ibuprofen and found that curcumin was as effective as ibuprofen for pain relief in patients with knee osteoarthritis? mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder and a little honey in a glass of warm milk. Drink it daily, at least for a few days? another option is to take 250 to 500 mg turmeric capsules three times daily until you are satisfied with the results. Note: talk to your doctor before including either of these remedies in your regular routine. Turmeric may interfere with certain medications, such as blood thinners, and may worsen gallbladder problems. For treatment consult privately any queries inform me.
