Dear lybrate user, it's a postural disorder b rectified sooner the better while sitting and sleeping. Take, homoeo medicine. @ rhus tox 200-6 pills, thrice a day. @ arnica mont200-6 pills, thrice a day. Avoid, lifting, heavy weight, jogging, skipping. You should go for physiotheraphy. Take, care.

Hi. Back pain may be due to various reasons. If it is only due to over strain or weakness of muscles. Then spinal extension exercises and core stabilisation exercises will work good. Its better to consult a physiotherapist before going for exercises. Good luck.

Try to check your posture while reading. Sit on a chair with proper back rest and your feet touching the floor. Core muscle strengthening should help, so start by tummy tucking exercise.

I have difficulty in walking and through calf pain and low back acts. According to reports my EHL is weak and DTR is absent. MRI report-facet joint arthrosis is seen at L4-5 and L5-S1 along with laminectomy. Cystic lesion at T12-4 splaying of nerve roots and kinking of conus. Narrowing of respective neural foramina.

Hello, tk, a leave for a few days from gym. Use the under noted homoeo medicine for relieving pain. @'arnica mont 200-6 pills, thrice a day. Tk, plenty of water to hydrate yourself. Tk, protein rich diet, apples, cheese, milk, soya been, rajama, almonds, walnuts, potatoes, spinach. Ensure sound sleep for at least 7 hrs. Avoid, caffiene, nicotine, alcohol, junk food. Tk, care.

What exercises are good to protect your joints? The best choices are low-impact options like walking, bicycling, and swimming. That's because high-impact, pounding, and jarring exercises can increase the risk of joint injuries and may slowly cause cartilage damage. Light weight-lifting exercises should also be included. But if you already have arthritis, first speak with your physiotherapist.

Stop the bike rides for a week, which is the aggravating factor, and find some other mode of transport, till then do mckenzie back extension exercises to strengthen your back muscles, do this exercise twice daily,

Start with physiotherapy sessions and learn exercise for knee joint. Don't sit on floors. Wear knee cap open patella also. Take calcium and methylcobalamine supplement with glucosamine for three months minimum. Also take vitamin d3 sachet every week.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Two glasses of milk contain around 14 gram of protein while the polyunsaturated fats in almond add those extra calories when included in the everyday diet. Crush a handful of almonds and add it to the boiling milk. Simmer it for five minutes. You can sweeten it with a tsp of sugar. Then, pour it in a glass and sip it slowly. To make it more effective, you may put in dates and dried figs in the boiling milk. Drink it twice daily for two months.

(A) Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. (B) Use no pillow under the head. (C) Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days (D) Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises (E)Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take (F) Do not ignore it.It may have to be investigated further. It could be beginning of a serious problem. (G) If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again. (H) Contact your family doctor or nearest hospital for emergency help.
