Masturbation makes you weak, it spends more energy and burns your calorie 2. Masturbation creates nervousness and neurological problems 3.Masturbation is a main cause for erectile dysfunction. 4. Masturbation addicts you even if you taste it for one time. Controlling it is a very big menace. 5. Masturbation creates drowsiness; you will be sleeping most of the time after ejaculation of your sperm. You will experience a damn tired. 6.Masturbation causes stress and strain in your mind and soul. 7. Masturbation also affects us psychologically; it creates depression after ejaculation and makes one to feel bad on his own. Take Staphysagria 200 CH, 5 drops , once in a week. Revert after 1 month.

Blood comes from my nose while sneezing! Is this due to excessive smoking! What to do?

PGFCP, PGDEMS, Bachelor Of Ayurvedic Medicine And Surgery

DEAR Lybrate USER. This problem is due to increased amount of abnormal pitta dosha in a rakta dhatu. So that suddha rakta converted into dushit rakta. And because of this strength of capillaries in the nose decreases and they rupture consequently bleeding occurs.. You have to follow some basic things, so that you get better results in a short period of time . 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day . 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals . 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal 5) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods 6) avoid late night sleeping habits. 7) avoid day time sleeping. A) take 50 ml of triphala juice and 15 ml of honey along with 50 ml of lukewarm water early in the morning and at night before sleep. Along with this take 2-2 tablets of RAKTASTAMBHAK VATI (dhootpapeshwar company. B) take 2-2 tablets of AAROGYAWARDHINI VATI and CHANDRAPRABHA VATI after meals. C) instill 4-4 drops of ALMOND tail in each nostrils two times in a day. Do all these things for 7 days. This formulation is effective.

Dear lybrate user, sperm cells are being continuously produced inside human testis. A single sperm cell needs about 4 months to mature before being ejaculated. Masturbating ejaculates many mature as well as immature sperm & results in the temporary deficit of sperm count. This loss of sperm results in the increased production of sperm. A sperm is mainly made up of protein. An increased production of sperm count needs a steady supply of protein. This supply of protein is met from the amount of protein we intake daily. Over masturbation increases the rate of production of sperm to such extent that the demand for protein cannot be fulfilled naturally & it often results in breakdown of protein from muscle tissues. This breakdown of muscle tissues is externally manifested as fatigue, weakness etc. Addiction to masturbation denotes that you are continuously indulged in sexual thoughts. This type of thoughts is common in people who live a sedentary life. If you really have a sedentary life-style you should get yourself out from it immediately. Socialize yourself. Do some physical exercise daily. Drink a lots of water. Create a routine of your daily schedule & maintain it. Stop watching porn in case you have developed a habit of watching it also you can take homoeopathic mother tincture origanum q, 10 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. This medicine will help to control your excessive sexual desire. However, you can masturbate for twice in a week. In order to minimise the after-effects of over-masturbation you can take homoeopathic cinchona officinalis 30 or china 30, 5 drops, thrice daily in empty stomach. This medicine will help to fight the seminal debility caused by the sexual exertion created by over-masturbation. Also I would like to advise you to conduct your semen analysis test. It will reveal the abnormalities in your semen if you really have any.

Allergies: Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

DNB (General Medicine), Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD), MBBS

Allergies: Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

Allergies are a reaction of your immune system to any foreign matter, such as pet dander, pollen or bee venom, and not everyone is affected in the same way.

Antibodies are substances produced by your immune system to protect you from harmful invaders that can cause infections or make you ill.

The immune system produces antibodies when it comes into contact with allergens. Your immune system can recognise any allergen as threatening even if it’s not. As a result, your skin, airways, digestive system or sinus gets inflamed.

Allergies can vary greatly in severity—from mild irritations to anaphylaxis (a likely life-threatening emergency). Allergies are mostly incurable; however, there are various treatments available to alleviate allergy symptoms.

Causes-

Common triggers of allergy include:

  1. Airborne allergens, such as mould, dust mites, animal dander and pollen.

  2. Certain foods, especially milk, eggs, shellfish, fish, soy, wheat, tree nuts and peanuts.

  3. Insect bites, such as wasp stings or bee stings.

  4. Medications, specifically penicillin-based antibiotics or penicillin.

  5. Latex, or any allergen you touch, causes skin infections.

Symptoms-

Symptoms of allergy depend on its type.

  • Hay fever (allergic rhinitis) symptoms include:

    • Sneezing

    • Itching of the roof of the mouth, eyes or nose

    • Stuffy, runny nose

    • Swollen, red or watery eyes (conjunctivitis)

  • Symptoms of food allergy include:

    • Tingling mouth

    • Swollen throat, face, tongue or lips

    • Hives

    • Anaphylaxis (a critical, deadly allergic reaction)

  • An allergy caused by insect stings can manifest in symptoms such as:

    • Swelling at the site of the sting

    • Hives or itching

    • Breathing problems, wheezing, coughing or chest tightness

    • Anaphylaxis

  • A drug allergy can lead to symptoms such as:

    • Hives

    • Itchy skin

    • Rashes

    • Facial swelling

    • Wheezing

    • Anaphylaxis

  • Atopic dermatitis (skin allergy) symptoms include:

    • Itching

    • Reddened skin

    • Peeling or flaky skin

Treatment-

Treatments of allergy include:

  1. Avoiding Allergens: Your doctor can help you take necessary steps to recognise and avoid the allergens that trigger allergies. This is usually the most relevant step in the prevention of allergic reactions and reduction of symptoms.

  2. Medicines to Lower Symptoms: Eye drops, nasal sprays or oral medications are commonly prescribed to reduce reactions and alleviate symptoms.

  3. Immunotherapy: If the allergy is severe or other treatments fail to relieve symptoms, allergen immunotherapy is recommended. In this treatment, you get injected by a number of clarified allergen extracts over the years.

  4. Emergency Epinephrine: If your allergy is severe, your doctor will provide you with an emergency epinephrine shot that you can carry with you everywhere.

Diabetic Foot!

MBBS, Dip.Cardiology, Fellowship in Clinical Cardiology(FICC), Fellowship in Echocardiology
Cardiologist, Ghaziabad
Diabetic Foot!

If you have diabetes, your blood glucose, or blood sugar, levels are too high. Over time, this can damage your nerves or blood vessels. Nerve damage from diabetes can cause you to lose feeling in your feet. You may not feel a cut, a blister or a sore. Foot injuries such as these can cause ulcers and infections. Serious cases may even lead to amputation. Damage to the blood vessels can also mean that your feet do not get enough blood and oxygen. It is harder for your foot to heal, if you do get a sore or infection.

You can help avoid foot problems. First, control your blood sugar levels. Good foot hygiene is also crucial:

  • Check your feet every day
  • Wash your feet every day
  • Keep the skin soft and smooth
  • Smooth corns and calluses gently
  • If you can see, reach, and feel your feet, trim your toenails regularly. If you cannot, ask a foot doctor (podiatrist) to trim them for you.
  • Wear shoes and socks at all times
  • Protect your feet from hot and cold
  • Keep the blood flowing to your feet

Its delayed ejaculation (de. Psychological causes for de can occur due to a traumatic experience. Cultural or religious taboos can give sex a negative connotation. Anxiety and depression can both suppress sexual desire, which may result in de as well. Relationship stress, poor communication, and anger can make de worse. Disappointment in sexual realities with a partner compared to sexual fantasies can also result in de. Often, men with this problem can ejaculate during masturbation but not during stimulation with a partner. Certain chemicals can affect the nerves.

I have a ringworm problem since 6-7months and that is mostly around my waist, private part, underarms, under and around my breast. I had visited the dermatologist and he prescribed some medicine however sometimes it goes away but the area becomes very itchy and I keep on scratching and gets black big spots there, after 3-4 days new ringworms comes. I don't know the root cause of the same. I need the permanent solution to this and want the solution to get rid of those awful marks. Please help me.

MBBS, MD-Dermatology,Venereology & Leprosy

Hi lybrate-user. Ring worm is also called Tinea. It is nothing but a fungal infection. It aggravates during summer and due to excessive sweating. Since you have multiple lesions, you will need antifungals in the form of tablets and creams and you need to use it for long duration. Also wear loose fitting cotton clothes and avoid excessive sweating.

My penis size is 15 cm. Its not enough for me. Can you suggest me the natural way to increase its size?

MBBS
General Physician, Fatehabad
My penis size is 15 cm. Its not enough for me. Can you suggest me the natural way to increase its size?
Hi lybrate-user, The shape and the size of penis vary with different men. Most men have normal penis size, but few among them do not have that length. Penis being a male organ functions as a fraction of urinary and reproductive systems. Sometimes men themselves want to have bigger size penis by which they can enjoy better sex with their partners. 1. Trim Public Hair - Penis looks smaller with extra hair. So men should trim public hair around the penis base which will not only make it bigger but also make you expose towards more of shaft. Even more your lady will like to enjoy and afford you with better oral satisfaction. Less hair will also aid in enhancing sensitivity at the base of your penis. 2. Lose The Pad - It is very important for obese men to lose weight which will help them to add length to their penis. More amount of fat in the abdomen area droops on the pelvic region, and fat also throngs the genitals which make the penis look small in size. It even becomes tougher for them to pierce deeply into their partners’ vagina. Men should lose weight by workouts in order to make their penis larger as unwanted fat won’t be around the penis base. 3. Agaram oil is a natural product that helps to improve the curvature in penis. This oil is an herbal product and is made up of herbs that are effective in providing nourishment to the male organ and helps to increase its size. Men who feel that they have small penis size may use this oil to increase size of the penis. It is a wonderful external application and may be used to massage the penis as it helps to strengthen the muscles of the penis. Agaram oil is a wonderful product that also helps to get rid of weak erections. Men who feel that the curvature in penis is adequate due to which they suffer from erectile dysfunction may use this oil to provide nourishment to the penis muscles and give it proper shape and strength. Hope this helps. Good luck.
