Treatment for leukoplakia, if needed, involves removing the source of irritation. If leukoplakia is caused by a rough tooth or an irregular surface on a denture or a filling, the tooth will be smoothed and dental appliances repaired. If leukoplakia is caused by smoking, you will be asked to minimize or stop smoking or using other tobacco products. Leukoplakia is usually harmless, and lesions usually clear in a few weeks or months after the source of irritation is removed. If eliminating the source of irritation is ineffective in reducing leukoplakia, the lesion may need to be surgically removed. The lesion can be removed either by an oral surgeon.

A major cause of tooth sensitivity is root exposure. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too.

Stop chewing gutka and visit dental surgeon for checkup. For opening of mouth you need to do mouth opening exercises. Use colgate total paste and listerin mouthwash twice a day. Do rinse your mouth with listerine mouth wash.

The cavity could have spread from wisdom tooth to your second molar. For this you have to remove your third molar and go for RCT in your second molar followed by a crown.

This is called halitosis or bad breath. You ll have to have a professional calling done and use mouth washes after food. Try using floss before brushing both day and night. If your trouble persists even after tat then you ll hv to work out on your diet chart. Coz certain sulphur containing foods r found to produce this bad breath.

Tooth ache may be due to infection, tooth decay, gum problem etc. Anything stuck in the teeth may also cause the problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take magnesia phos 200 twice daily in the morning and evening.

Does your toothpaste really changes your tooth colour???

MDS - Orthodontics, BDS
Dentist, Chennai
Does any one in the world wants a yellow teeth? or
Any one in the world does'nt want a white teeth?
These are the two wishes makes the tooth paste business as number one in the world.
Every one should know why there are so many shades of teeth.
Does a yellow teeth means ugly teeth.
The colour of your teeth is an optical phenomenon. It depends on the thickness of the enamel. The inner layer of the tooth is called dentin, which is yellow in colour. If the overlying enamel is thin the colour of dentin is visible through the enamel giving the tooth yellow colour. If the enamel is thick the underlying dentin is not visible so tooth appears white. The whiteness of tooth depends on the thickness of enamel. Genetic also plays a role. Usually a fair complexioned person will have yellow shade and a dark complexioned person will have white shade.
So the colour of your teeth is not going to be changed permanently by your tooth paste.
Yellow or white teeth keep it clean.
