This depends on the reaction time of body. It varies from man to man in general if a medicine taken then u will get a result after 3 to 5 weeks in chronic case. In acute case it is few hrs.

I am 26 yr old and suffering from back pain from 1 month. What should I do?
Back ache can be due to several reasons. It can be muscular, related to disc degeneration or prolapse, joint irritation or nerve pinching. Most common is muscle pain due to tight and weak back and abdominal muscles. Keep a positive attitude, focus more on keeping good posture especially when sitting for long hours, use lumbar support. Take frequent breaks and stretch in between. Try changing sleeping habits. Stretching and strengthening exercises for low back and abdominal muscles will help reduce pain. Try hot or cold therapy as tolerated. If pain persists consult a physiotherapist specialized in back pain treatment. Good luck for quick recovery.

I have constipation problem. I take regularly green vegetables like spinach etc. I take three to four times a day Tea or Coffee. Once a week non veg dishes (chicken/mutton/fish) but one egg every day My age is 84 years. I take some light exercise daily. Prem Sabhlok.

1. Eat high fibre diet like fruits, vegetables, beans, boiled/sprouted moong dal, whole grain rice, whole wheat pasta, whole meal breads, multi grain chapatti, oats. 2. Avoid foods which are high in fat. Choose lean meats like fish, chicken. 3. Eat on schedule 4. Drink plenty of water, 8-10 glasses daily, avoid alcohol/caffeine 5. Take regular physical exercise like walking if possible 6. Stick to a regular timing for going to toilet. 7. Take 2 tsf of softovac sf/naturolax powder with warm water at bed time or syrup duphalac 15 ml twice daily for few days 8. If you have chronic constipation, you may have to do colonoscopic examination after consulting gastroenterologist.

Take the following treatment - 1. Take 4 tablespoon of aloevera juice with one tablespoon of honey after dinner. 2. Take 4 tablespoon amla juice + 2 tablespoon honey on an empty stomach in the morning. 3. Take chandraprabhavati 2 tablets twice a day. 4. Avoid junk, bakery & spicy food. 5. Maida is very harmful for body, so avoid it. 6. Have all your meals on time. 7. Drink lots of water 8. Fruits rich in vitamin c and green leafy vegetables help in acne.

Hi follow diabetic diet use rice twice a week only in the afternoon, have methiseeds soaked in the water over nite in the empty stomach morning, do waliking for 30 mins a day 5 times a week, have early and lite dinner and devoid rice for dinner -before 8pm and take metformin 30mins before food.

Find out what is the cause of you becoming overweight. If it is simply because of overeatting you need to curtail your diet. Have low calory food. Do exercise. Better to consult a diatecian. However be sure that your thyroid function is normal and get an ultrasound to exclude the possibility of pcod.

Most probably you are suffering from oa of knee. Knee surgery-total knee replacement (tkr) is quite safe & gives uniformly good results.Surgery should be done when patient is still active & will be able to take benefit of surgery. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Kindly show me x- rays before a final decision can be taken. You will be thoroughly investigated before surgery is under taken. Risk in surgery is less than the risk in crossing road.

We all are aware of the fact that our height increases up to a particular age and then it comes to a halt. Height increases up to the age of 18years in women and up to the age of 20 years in men. Increase in height is attributed to the production of growth hormone, called the HGH( Human Growth Hormone), which is secreted by the pituitary gland called the master gland of our body. It is rather difficult to increase height after reaching adulthood as the production of these hormones slowly stops. In most cases, the epiphyses of the long bones are fused as the last bits of cartilaginous tissue in the bones turn into solid hard bones. This prevents any further growth in longer bones. However, if the hormones are released naturally, increase in height can be observed. Increase in height at your age depends upon a no. of factors like 1.Heriditary factor 2.Recorded any increase in height in last 6 months 3.Amount of effort you are putting in for increase in height 4.How much serious are you for your height 5.Will you give 100% if I show you a direction 6.Just do your bit with full determination and leave the rest to time,exercises and medicines. Hi, please follow these tips apart from taking medicines to avoid recurrence: - do not keep your stomach empty for long durations, - eat in small quantities frequently. - avoid hot, spicy and oil fried food - drink plenty of water in between your intake. - keep away from mental stress and tensions, - perform physical exercises daily and meditation helps to relieve mental stress and tensions. - consume lot of fibre like raw vegetables, oats, fruits, sprouts, etc - avoid excess intake of coffee or tea, intake of medicines on empty stomach. - be careful about the food while eating outside. - carry a small pack of biscuit or some fruits along with you for emergency. - whenever you suffer from acidity, take the medications prescribed by the doctor for 2-3 weeks continuously until the wounds in the stomach gets healed completely. - sleep at least for 8 hours a day. - restrict the usage of pain killers and antibiotics frequently.

Check whether she has any underlying cause for headache. If not check if she has gastritis, gastric ulcers or constipation. Try to eliminate these factors. She can take hot foot bath for 20 mins. This will help to reduce the pain.

Hello If symptoms are sneezing, Running nose, blocked nose 1.Take proper rest/ lot of fluids 2. and Take proper home made diet. 3. Do Steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days If no drug allergy you can take Tablet Sinarest (Paracetamol. 500 mg+Chlorpheniramine 2mg) one Tablet after food twice a day for 1days

1. Drink hot water with honey ? 4 times a day. 2. Hot milk (older children can have hot tea and coffee also). 3. Hot soup. 4. Gargling with hot water or salt-water. 5. No head bath, only a body bath. Later, head bath as usual. 6. Air conditioning is to be controlled at 25 degree C in the day, 27 degree at night. In winter months, better to switch it off. No ice cream, cold drinks or cold fruit juices especially in winter.

It seems that for one or the other reason you are accumulating stress and in that stress your behavior is less than what you expect. This coukd be due to some change which happend recently in your life or might be due to our modern life style which causes this stress. It could also be due to change in your life. I would also suggest you to take a multiple small break to take 3 nice and deep breath while keeping your eyes closed. You could do this while sitting or standing or while even walking or climbing stairs (keep your eyes open in that case). When you take a nice and deep break there is actual physiological change in your body. This will help you to activate parasympathetic nervous system which promotes relaxation and helps you calm down and think more clearly. This will also actually improve your performance in your work. Along with this exercise is one of the best way to relive stress and stay fit. Engage in any kind of physical activity at least 4 times a week. This also helps in stress reduction. Along with this some relaxation exercises as well as engaging in joyful activities such as music, singing, dancing, reading, being in nature, gardening, talking with friends or anything which you enjoy will help reducing stress and rejuvenation of your mind and body. Have good routine for sleep and eating. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Along with this also increase consumption of raw vegetables in the form of salad in both the meals of your day. Hello lybrate user, - excess of stress may lead to much hair fall - better to avoid any stress - and late night sleep is also a cause for hairfall - better to go to sleep within 12am always - take amla ras 20ml with water daily twice before food - have some sprouts in the morning always - lack of nutrition will also be a cause for hairfall - do apply neelabringadi taila - do hairpack with amla and bringaraj powder weekly twice this give you better result.
