Exercises never hamper your body growth even if you have been doing after meals, rather exercises always help you grow at your age. So don't be upset. Rest of the problems can be addressed after seeing you physically.

I am suffering from extreme cough. Already 1 week has been finished and still I am uncomfortable. Please suggest an easy solution.

MBBS, MD - Community Medicine
General Physician, Jaipur
Hello, If you have cough without sputum (sputum is a mixture of saliva and mucus coughed up from the respiratory tract), I would like to advise you to - 1. Take proper rest/ drink lot of fluids and take proper homemade food. 2. Do warm Saline gargles 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days, if there is sore throat. 3. Take a cough syrup (Grilinctus OR Banadryl) 10 ml three times a day for 2-3 days.

I am a asthmatic person by childhood. Can asthma be cured. What precautions should I take to control asthma.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Dear Mr. Lybrate-user. Any asthmatic attack is triggered by histamine present in our blood. As you have mentioned that you have dust allergy then you should undertake certain measures to avoid it. 1) always use a face mask while you are driving or crossing the road 2) you should keep your bed and pillows free from any kind of dust. It will be better if you use vaccum cleaner to keep your bed and pillows clean 3) you should do a routine check of your blood to know your eosinophill level in your blood. In most cases of dust allergy the eosinophill level in the blood of patient remains elevated than normal level. In case you have high eosinophill level then you should take homeopathic pyrogen 1m, 5 drops thrice daily in empty stomach daily for 15 days.

Asthma can be most probably reversed if you Avoid your triggers like smoke, food products, drugs ,stress etc Decontaminate your decor. No pets and no carpets No first hand or second hand smoking Clean regularly Regular exercise Maintain a healthy weight Maintain optimal humidity Changing your diet and eating habits is a must .and environment change where you reside or work or commute will also definitely help if you want specific advice how to treat Asthma naturally take a consult. Every Asthma patient is different and triggers vary. Remember You have to treat the root cause and not the symptoms.

I have been to a water park (Aqua magical) and there due to feirce rides a bit of water got in through my nose into my body, I now have shallow breathing (I. E I can't breathe deep) and I feel a bit uneasy Should I be concerned please help ASAP.

PGDCC, MD(Chest), PG Dip.Clin.Cardiology
Pulmonologist, Ghaziabad
In this way water can enter your sinuses and a little bit in lungs but it is not of great concern, as mostly it all resolves by itself in 2-3 days. If you continue to have problems then you need treatment for infection or allergic inflammation.

Save your body from dust, allergens, you can take regular homeopathic medicines and can avoid inhaler frequently. It's a bronchodilator, you know better if you dilate something continuosly than elasticity of that gets affected. So, it can give side effects even after 10 -12 years. Now you are 30, so young, save your body from steroids, prolonged use of harmful drugs.
