Dear, According to Ayurveda joint pain is known as Sandhigata vata. With increase in age vata dosha is predominant in human body that is why with aging disease caused by vata dosha increases in body. Joint pain is a common symptom with many possible causes. Joint Pain and Arthritis are the one of the most devastating conditions faced by individuals, particularly elderly women today. When there is pure Vata dosha involvement (a pain without swelling or discoloration) then the massage with medicated ayurvedic oil is quite useful & supplement is helpful in balancing bodily humors ?vata, which is responsible dosha for Sandhigata vata . Maintain proper driving ergonomics. Try to hold the steering wheel in lower position. Stretch yourself as many time you can while long drive. If the seat of the car is adjustable then try to lift it up. And go for manual physiotherapy. They will guide you with further exercise protocol. Conventional UST or IFT may not help you as the pain is chronic.

You should continue your physiotherapy if you are having pain. Few things I would like to tell you, firstly when you sleep turned to one side you should try to bring your knees close to your chest by folding your hip and knees and keep a pillow between your thighs. When you sleep straight with your face facing the ceiling, you should try to keep your legs folded by putting 2-3 pillows bellow your knees. This will keep your back relaxed in night. Even when you sit for long hours you should keep some foot rest bellow your feet so that you knees are slightly above the level of you seat. Try avoid long hours travelling.

Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Sir I am suffering from leg pains during walking also , present my age is 20 , what I can do?
For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.
