i feel it may be due to tendon injury. completely wrap with your finger by keeping it straight with the next finger. let it for 2-3 days. try to avoid weight lifting or movements at the joints. you may recover.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day..

I have back pain before one month I take lots if medicine I pain did not gone what will I do.
This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain.

General tips- weight control/reduction avoid sitting for long hours.(take 2-3 min breaks from sitting at work every 40 min-1hr intervals) general exercises for back are called core strengthening exercises-pls do it after checking with a spine surgeon and then learn from a physiotherapist). Check your vitamins- d and b12 specifically by blood tests. If low you'll need supplementation under guidance.

Start doing stretching exercises and some yoga postures and deep breathing for few minutes a day. Hot water drink and hot water bath preceded by heated oil massage by mahavishgarbh oil will relieve you.

This is a general strain due to excessive walking or standing and for this I suggest you to follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes. One time you can do hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain.

Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Avoid fermented food. Junk food.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

* sitting puts nearly twice the stress on the spine. Slouching while you sit increases the pressure even more. * slouching fatigues and overstretches the ligaments, causing back pain. * there's no vascular or nerve supply to the discs; they get their nutrition through movement. Reasons for your back pain: 1> tight leg muscles 2> weak back musculature 3> incorrect sitting posture treatment: 1> stretching - stretching of thigh muscles will help a lot. Consult a physiotherapist to teach you 2> strengthening - start exercises like swimming which helps to make your back muscles strong 3> change your position - try and put your wallet/ phone in the front pocket. Sitting upright as well as slouching is the worst posture while sitting. Support your back with a pillow/cushion while sitting.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Shoulder pain could be due to many reasons like bursitis, tendinitis, capsular involvement, impingement etc. I would like to ask you regarding the onset of pain and cause of it? have you got any relevant investigations/treatment done for it till now? normally if there is no swelling or any other sign of inflammation, you can start with - physical therapy - anti inflammatory medicine for 7-10 days ice packs at home 3-4 times in a day - adequate calcium and vitamin d intake as per requirement. If your pain does not subside with this, then we will have to consider getting some tests like x ray to see joint degeneration, or maybe even mri of the affected shoulder. I am 30 years old female having problem of chondromalacia patellae. My knees often pains a lot while climbing stairs or when I walk a lot. Also my elbow joints pain while typing. I have B12 deficiency. Please advise if these are symptoms of osteoporosis.

1. This is termed as'krostuk shirsha' by the ancient ayurbeda physicians. The treatment can be continued with your allopathic treatment for better results and minimizing the side effects of those medicines. 2. Go for proper sitting for janu basti (see related videos on you tube) whixch is a part of panchkarma therapy. 3. Do not use indian toilet sheet. 4. You can wear sport shoes with soft pads. 5. Physiotherapy sessions are good for you alongwith the prescribed exercises. 6. Don not stand for long, more than 20 minutes.

Hello lybrate-user, disc herniation at l4 l5 s1 disc herniation may lead to nerve root compression, pain in that sided thigh and tingling numbness depending upon the involvement. You will need to get yourself examined clinically in order to rule out neurodeficit and assess your straight leg raising test (doctors way to quantify the seriousness of the disorder) exercises avoid high impact activities like running, jogging, jumping sports and bending forwards. Kindly follow a stable exercise routine like brisk walking in order to maintain fitness and keep the symptoms in check. Thank you.

LIFE-STYLE CORRECTION 1) Correct your sitting posture. 2) Take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) Foot should rest to floor easily. 4) Take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) Do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.
