Please consult a vet it might because of skin infection or else send me photos so could suggest first aid . Still consulting a vet near by is appreciable.

Age might be a problem , still need to rule out systemic diseases and cardiac function. Try liver supplement with your vets advice.

I adopted a 3 months old male Labrador puppy. It is having loose motions now n one episode of vomiting. It is completely vaccinated for first year. I changed its diet from pedigree to home cooked vegetarian food without any spices. What could be the reason?

Veterinarian, Gurgaon
Sudden food change can be one ofbthe reson of stomach upset. Apart from this othet reason are stomach or inyestine infection, worms or eating unsual things. Kindly get your puppy examined from vet and follow his advice.

If a dog is kept outdoors in summers India and if we pour water on her and leave outside only then can it cause heatstroke.

B.V.Sc. & A.H., M.V.Sc.-Pathology
Veterinarian, Bangalore
Yes, the chances are high. Its always better to keep the dog indoors during summer and provide adequate amount of water to drink.

Its quite natural that he is limping it will take time to heal and you will need a follow up with your vet.

Hi Sir, My labrador aged 4 years is drinking excess water from the last few days and also peeing a lot. His pee seems to be a little sticky when stepped on.

B.V.Sc. & A.H., M.V.Sc
Veterinarian, Gurgaon
Excess water drinking could be due to diabetes, hyperadrenocorticism, or kidney problem. Please consult your vet and get blood test for sugar, kidney profile and cholesterol.
