I have fever last six days. And I take medicine bun not care it. please tell me what I can do?

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
I have fever last six days. And I take medicine bun not care it. please tell me what I can do?
Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defenses against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures..Also, the body's defense mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatment The following medications may be used at home for mild to moderate fever : -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children or adolescents or during a viral illness. -An individual with a fever should be kept comfortable and not overdressed. Overdressing can cause the temperature to rise further.wear loose fitting clothes. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) baths are a home remedy that may help bring down a fever -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause anyone to become very dehydrated. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc. -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals during fever..avoid outside food -Wash your hands frequently every day with soap and warm water f especially before meals, or after you have returned from a public place or used public transport. -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

Psoriasis is manageable, the traditional approach is to start with the mildest treatments topical creams and ultraviolet light therapy (phototherapy) and then progress to stronger ones only if necessary. The goal is to find the most effective way to slow cell turnover with the fewest possible side effects coupled with a dietary therapy specially designed to manage psoriasis. Researchers found several studies linking obesity to an increased risk for psoriatic disease. These studies indicate that a higher body mass index (bmi) is associated with an elevated risk for developing psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, as well as increased disease severity. Obesity may provide the nudge that triggers psoriasis in people who are already predisposed to it, liao said. Previous research suggests that the development of psoriasis could be influenced by the interaction between bmi and certain gene mutations. Researchers also found that in overweight individuals, losing weight may improve the effectiveness of treatments. Fat cells secrete cytokines, which are proteins that can trigger inflammation, explained liao" so if you lose weight, you may be reducing fuel for the fire" do reply back for private consultation for a detailed treatment plan including dietary therapy.

Hi, you are having what we medically call phimosis. It can be uncomfortable during sex/masturabation and secretions build up beneath the foreskin and cause unfavourable environment. The best thing would be circumcision. But you may periodically retract the the foreskin dipping your penis in hot water daily. It could be effective or amy not be. There is also retraction under prilox a local anesthetic cream applied and skin moved behind after 45 minutes of applying. It can be effective at times, best done under medical supervision. Hope this helps.

I am 51 year old male is having two cysts in my left kidney, one is very small and other is 4cm. Though these are not giving any trouble till now and I would like to know if there is any way to remove these cysts.

MBBS, MD Obs & Gynae, FNB Reproductive Medicine
Gynaecologist, Jalandhar
A CT scan is required to look at the type of cyst If it is simple cyst it just needs follow up. If it increases in size or causes symptoms it may need removal which can be done laparoscopically or by open surgery.

Hello doctors! My age is 24 now n I usually masturbate but since last one week I got a pain in my waist I thought that the reason behind this pain is my masturbating habit so can you please tell me how can I be normal and I dnt wanna masturbate so what can I do to stop masturbation?

Hello doctors! My age is 24 now n I usually masturbate but since last one week I got a pain in my waist I thought tha...
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns, MASTURBATION IT the release of semen from your penis. Semen is made up of fluid and sperm. Many guys masturbate. In fact, one study of 15- and 16-year-olds found that 75% of boys said they masturbated. There are many myths IS ASORT OF SEXUAL PRACTICE NOT ONLY HUMANS BUT ALSO SEEN IN ANIMALS ALSO, IS PERFORMED When- you masturbate, you release sexual tension. You'll have what's called an ejaculation. Ejaculation is about masturbation. For example, some people say it will stunt your growth. But there is nothing wrong with doing it as long as it doesn't become a constant desire or get in the way of other things you want or need to do. See you r overdoing, means not normal. its addiction not normal , try to control, by will power , make a schedule of masturbation first, stick to it. when you plan to masturbate, But if you have a little extra time, “edging”—also called the stop-and-start method—can help you achieve more intense orgasms, I promise. Work yourself right up to the edge of ejaculation and then take a short break—just enough time for your erection to soften a bit. Then start the process over again. Do this three or four times before you orgasm, and you’ll experience more profound, powerful ejaculations, will make you more satisfied ,hence you feel not to masturbate too often, avoid situation provoking you to masturbate, as being alone, watching porn, reading erotic’s , do physical exercise, be more active in social life. , If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions

We both had hiv test done before baby planning and it came -ve for both hiv and VDRL. I took duralast megalis both 1/2 tablets every 3 days (i took for 1 and half tablet both for only 1 week) a week as per doctor recommendation, but I dint found comfortable so I stopped. After that I started Ayurveda medication. I took only 3 Ayurveda tablets and till now I am not facing ED. I do not need to take Ayurveda tablets now which is not the case with duralast megalis. So my question For children planning Is duralast megalis unprotected sex leads to HIV? Is it true.

You have lot of misconception due to that you have lot of fear. Duralast is for ed not for family planning or prevention of aids. If your having sex out of marriage than protected sex is must if you r having inside the marriage and do not want to have children than you should have protected sex.

Erectile dysfunction can be due to stress / anxiety or due to physical cause. For physical cause you need to do blood tests hb, tc, dc, fasting sugar, prolactin, tsh and testosterone. Stop smoking if you smoke. Check bp. Also there are medicines which can help.
