Dear, First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Sir / madam. I am a marketing person, lots of running on bike in Mumbai city approx 75 km daily, always feeling tired, my joints legs, arms, backbone, head always tired & feeling Uneasy also painful, I regularly take Revital capsule daily, but still not very active. Dear lybrate user, * when you ride a bike for longer periods of time, your body will start protesting. This is what exactly happening with you right now. As you said you can not change the work and your life style, I would suggest you to add swimming to your daily routine. * swimming will help you relax and at the same time strengthen your weak muscles. * taking hot water shower before going to bed will also help to relax your over used muscles. * eat healthy * have a sound sleep. * continue taking your regular supplements.

For few days I was having body pain. But in last 3 days it j creased a lot that my both knees were paining and headache. And back was also paining. Went to doctor. Today. Was told that it is viral infection. Given Dolo 650. pantocid. And Taxim 250. Want to know that how days will it take to cure. I am afraid so. Is there any other tests to reveal the root cause.

If it is viral then it get better in a week or so depending upon your immunity level. So please eat healthy food and take proper rest. If you feel sick or feel feverish then go for check up again. Please revert after a few days.

1. Lie on your back. ... 2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. ... 4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6. Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.

Dear lybrate-user, always pain reliever ointment will not work. We need ultrasonic therapy as well to reduce pain. Muscles strengthening excercises to help gain strength.

I am .61. Years old. Male. For last- 03 months. I am suffering from both legs "Knee" having heavy pains. Orthopedic doctor taken "X-RAY & told that the "Gap" between two legs bones are "Decreased" Hence I approached to" Homeopathic Doctor" He advised that take "Calcium" Orally for "Six Months. This is a general strain due to excessive walking or standing and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes. One time you can do hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain.

Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. * first correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back. You can use lumber belt for support. * do regular back strength exercises. Move your clockwise and anticlock wise. * do not sleep on very soft bed, sleep on slight hard cotton mattress. * do tadasana and bhjangasana for back strengthening. If you can not understand these asans you can consult me. * take calcium rich diet and calcium and vitamin d supplements regularly. *do not take any heavy weight or heavy work. * if you are over weight then follow a good and effective diet plan to loose some kilos of weight. Back ache can be due to several reasons. It can be muscular, related to disc degeneration or prolapse, joint irritation or nerve pinching. Most common is muscle pain due to tight and weak back and abdominal muscles. Keep a positive attitude, focus more on keeping good posture especially when sitting for long hours, use lumbar support. Take frequent breaks and stretch in between. Try changing sleeping habits. Try hot or cold therapy as tolerated. Wish you speedy recovery.

Hi, I had some joint pains few days ago. So doctor advised me to test blood calcium uric acid and vitamin d 25_oh. The levels are 9. 8 mg/dl, 5. 5 mg/dl and 11. 6 ng/ml. What could be the reason for such deficiency of vitamin d. I take healthy diet and have a active lifestyle. Do I need some more investigation before starting vit d supplement.

Vit d deficiency is very common. 60, 000 units tablets are as effective as injection you have to take 1000mg calcium along with it. Have vit d test every 2-3 week until normal level is attained. Milk & milk products & green leafy vegetables are good source of calcium.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines1. Calc fluor 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. *use a small pillow. *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc. *don't lift heavy weight. *don't put hands under the head while sleeping.

Hi, you can do hot fermentation and few basic execises. Like. Quadriceps setting exercise, ankle pump exedcise, knee bending and staightening exercises. Do all dis exercises in lying. Also avoid sqautting for few days and do stair climbing carefully.

I am 51 years old, at menopausal stage. Sometimes feel hungry even after eating full meal and sometimes don't feel hungry at all because of which my weight gets added easily. I am 80 kgs though I walk everyday for minimum 1 hour a day on week days and 2 hours a day on weekends. I doubt that the weight gain causes knee pain. In addition to that I get knee swelling after every exhaustive day or strenuous work. Please advise.

better watch out. menopausal weight gain is physiological @ half kg per year or may be more and it is hormonal and non reversible. you are right ,walking more does cause knee pain as weight is carried by lower limbs. do exercises which involve entire body. get a stable cycle with rowing and exercise at home-cycling is less strenous than walking. eat healthy ,may be one meal a day. rest of the day only seasonal vegetables and fruits in plenty. lemon juice/apple cider vinegar do burn fat. yoga can help tone up muscles and help reduce weight too.
