Dear as you mentioned that pain increases in the morning. You have work stress you need to check your sitting posture sit in correct way adjust your chair and monitor screen -do hot fermentation 3 times in a day duration-20 min -do stretches 2 min proper along hold and relax do it for two days then I will tell you further program take care.

Hello doctor. I have a question regarding my mom. She was diagnosed with osteoporosis before a year. She has disc in back and neck also. Now she has pain in right shoulder and can not move her arm properly nor can do any heavy work with this arm. She faces problem during sleep also. She cannot sleep on right side due to shoulder and it feels as if something heavy has been placed on her shoulder. Doctor did xray and gave medicine bt no improvement. please suggest what to do.

Hello Lybrate user, sir the disk of neck might cause nerve compression which leads to improper nerve supply to the shoulder joint because of which the muscles of arm started getting less nutrition supply and started getting weak. Shoulder PAIN 1.Hot Fermentation over the painful shoulder for 10-15 min. Twice a day 2.Active shoulder movements within the painfree range. 10 reps 3.Wall press with shoulder anteriorly and sideways. 10 sec hold and 10 reps 4.Ultrasonic therapy over the painful point 5.Electrotherapy for 15-18 mins over the painful shoulder. 6.Precaution: Avoid sleeping on the affected shoulder, Avoid lifting any weight with the affected shoulder.

You may be suffering from vitamin and calcium deficiency. I would recommend that you get your vitamin levels checked. Drink plenty of water. Nimbu pani with salt and sugar is also good after outdoor activity as it will replenish the salts in your body.

Piriformis Stretch 1.Lie on your back. 2.Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3.Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. 4.Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5.Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6.Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.

take calcium properly. take rest. take hot fermentation. do spinal strengthening excercise. avoid prolonged standing and sitting avoid forward bending and heavy lifting. walking is important.

Sir I am a 20 year old man. I am having a back pain and hip pain while riding bike and lifting weights for about four months. When I consulted a doctor he said it was disc dislocation and asked for 14 days bed rest and suggested some exercise. But still the pain is continuing. So what is the real remedies?

If there is a disc dislocation it will not heal in 2 weeks a proper treatment is required. Please do a x-ray of the lumbo-sacral region first. Take Mag phos 12x - twice daily and revert back after 7 days. Continue treatment.

- your question lacks when, how long and whats aggrevates your knee pain, your age as they all points affect correct diagnosis. - there could be deficiency of vit d, ca, increse level of uric acid, gastric problem. To maintain strength abd reduce pain do knee exercises called isometrics if quad (write name of knee exercise in utube to know procedure of exercise) - to reduce pain do contrast bath by dipping and squeezing one hand towel in hit water, apply to affected area, when it cools down immediately apply another hand towel in cold ice water repeat this for 10 - 15 min for 2- 3 times (specially at night)

Don't carry any weights.*you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take arnica 200--once daily in the morning.

I am a 19 year old male. I had arthroscopic meniscus repair surgery done on my left meniscus for a buckle handle tear. It's now been 6 months yet there is a grinding sound in that meniscus.
