I am 63 year old male no sugar BP normal with medicine. My problem is 20 year back operate on my right leg hip joint with nailing. 3 year back remove nails. My right leg short about half inch. I walk limb. And due to that full body load come on left side leg. Now days my left side leg pain in knee. For that pl. Suggest medicine or treatment.

Leg & Hip pain k liye ap exercise kijiye I hope you feel well. Hip Strengthening – Basic Exercises To begin with, the following basic hip strengthening exercises should be performed approximately 10 times, 3 times daily. As your hip strength improves, the exercises can be progressed by gradually increasing the repetitions and strength of contraction provided they do not cause or increase pain. Bridging Begin this exercise lying on your back in the position demonstrated (figure 1). Slowly lift your bottom pushing through your feet, until your knee, hip and shoulder are in a straight line. Tighten your bottom muscles (gluteals) as you do this. Hold for 2 seconds and repeat 10 times. Hip Extension in Lying Begin this exercise lying on your stomach in the position demonstrated (figure 2). Keeping your knee straight, slowly lift your leg tightening your bottom muscles (gluteals). Hold for 2 seconds and repeat 10 times. Adductor Squeeze Begin this exercise lying in the position demonstrated with a rolled towel or ball between your knees (figure 3). Slowly squeeze the ball between your knees tightening your inner thigh muscles (adductors). Hold for 5 seconds and repeat 10 times as hard as possible pain free. Figure 3 – Adductor Squeeze Hip Abduction Sidelying Begin this exercise lying on your side in the position demonstrated (figure 4). Keeping your back and knee straight and foot facing forwards, slowly take your leg to the side tightening the muscles at the side of your thigh / hip (abductors). Hold for 2 seconds and repeat 10 times as far as possible pain free. Hip Abduction Standing Begin this exercise standing at a bench or table for balance (figure 5). Keeping your back and knee straight and foot facing forwards, slowly take your leg to the side tightening the muscles at the side of your thigh / hip (abductors). Hold for 2 seconds and repeat 10 times as far as possible pain free. Straight Leg Raise Begin this exercise lying on your back with one leg straight and one leg bent (figure 6). Slowly lift your straight leg to approximately 45 degrees keeping your knee and toes facing the ceiling. Hold for 2 seconds and repeat 10 times provided it is pain free. Hip Flexion Begin this exercise standing at a bench or table for balance (figure 7). Slowly lift your knee up as high as you can while keeping your back straight and tightening the muscles at the front of your hip (hip flexors). Hold for 2 seconds and repeat 10 times as far as possible pain free.

Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, forget about what you did in past. Now what you have to do is more important. Sleep early at night (sleep for 7-8 hrs) and get up early in the morning before sunrise and go for a morning walk / jogging / running for about 45-60 minutes. Join a gym if you can. Eat healthy food. All seasonal fruits and vegetables, proteins in the form of milk, curd, cheese, dry fruits. Consume 4-6 liters of water / fluids per day. Have positive approach and read good quality books. You will become strong physically and morally too. Take care.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movemely walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain.Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person.So share the complete symptom picture for the proper treament. In the mean time take Arnica 200, 3 drops in the morning and Rhus tox. 200, 3 drops at night for 7 days.Take care

Start by performing static quads, static hams and calf strech exercise. Avoid sitting on any lower surface and wear knee support for the time being till you increase the duration of standing without the pain with the help of exercises.

Pulled lower back muscle. Severe pain on getting up from sitting position. Almost negligible pain while sitting, lying flat on bed, bet getting up and putting weight forward, forward bending causes pain.

Standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and. Put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

You need to get your knee checked immediately. It could be due to locking of knee in torn meniscus or maybe be even some type of arthritis. You must not ignore the condition as the knee can quickly get permanently damaged without treatment.

Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – Lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

You might have injured some muscle fibres while exercising in gym for the time being don't lift weight take anti-inflammatory drugs for some time once the pain settles start doing shoulder strengthening exercises if no relief, consult privately.
