Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. There are no specific timing for anal sex. But it is always better to have anal, sex when the rectum is empty of stools. I suggest not to indulge in anal sex because it is unconventional. Take care.

Hi lybrate-user she should visit gynaecologist first for examination and if everything is normal then she can terminate pregnancy with pills. It's better to do it under local gynaecologist if abortion is incomplete it may require surgical evacuation.

We have been married for five months and trying for baby in most fertile days. But no result. I came to know after marriage that as per astrology if they match Virgo (kanni rasi) and Aquarius (kumba rasi) they will not get baby and no development in their marriage life. After hearing that I'm very stressed and disappointed. We both are same sign. Every day it's killing me. Both of our parents very happy about our marriage. Please tell me will we have baby. I don't want to spoil my husband's life he is very fond of child. I decided to break the marriage. Am I right? I need your counseling. Thank you.

It is just five years since you are married .only afted been more than a year for you for trying for a baby ,private gynaecological consultation for both husband and wife is required. being negative and stressful won't solve any problem.Try to be positive and happily try for conception.Do yoga, meditation and keep your mind calm.Try to be fit and healthy. Astrology is all together a different science .So I can't comment on that aspect. I would only say if birth of child was related to astrological planetary position then gynaecological science should have gone extinct long back. Be literate and use your brains ,believe in the right science.Act wisely and not in haste.

Preconception Planning: Is your Body Ready for Pregnancy?

MBBS, MS - Obstetrics & Gynecology, Fellowship in Infertility (IVF Specialist)

Preconception Planning: Is your Body Ready for Pregnancy?

Planning on getting pregnant can involve taking steps that will help you in having a safe and fulfilling pregnancy and subsequent childbirth. It is important to indulge in preconception planning so as to ensure that you are in the pink of health and ready to go through the process of bearing and birthing a child in the best possible manner. Indulging in this stage is also a way of looking out for your unborn child and ensuring that he or she gets the best conditions during and right after pregnancy. So how can you tell if your body is ready for pregnancy? Here’s a quick list for you!

  1. Type of Birth Control: In the preconception stage, it is important to ask what kind of birth control you have been using. This will make it easier for you to estimate your cycles and know when you will be due for your period once you stop the pill, so that you know roughly when you will be ovulating. Usually, for most birth control pills, the time lag is about two weeks which gives you plenty of time for the menstruation cycle to get back to its normal course.

  2. Vaccinations: You will need to check whether or not all your vaccinations are current and up to date. Before you start trying for conception, it will be best to get these vaccinations done as many of them cannot be taken once you have conceived, due to side effects like fever and more, which cannot be treated with regular allopathic medication once you are pregnant. Remember to specially check about vaccinations for German Measles and Chickenpox, which can prove to be fatal if they strike during pregnancy or the post-natal period, when the immunity of the body dips.

  3. Chronic Medical Conditions: If you have chronic medical conditions like hypertension or diabetes or any other such ailment, then you will need to get your weight, blood pressure, blood sugar level and other such vitals to a normal level before you conceive so that you do not have to deal with the side effects of such medication that can be caused during pregnancy.

  4. Supplements: You may have to change or switch the doses and medicines that you have been taking on a long term basis so as to make way for prenatal vitamins which will also help in preventing neural tube anomalies that can strike the baby if the development of the same does not happen properly in the very first month after conception.

While you are at it, you should also consider talking to your doctor about any family history of birth defects and anomalies to know your risk and chances. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist.

Dear user. FERTILE PHASE is the phase of a female's menstrual cycle when an egg (ovule) is released from the ovaries. In humans, ovulation occurs about midway through the menstrual cycle, after the follicular phase. The few days surrounding ovulation (from approximately days 10 to 18 of a 28 day cycle), constitute the most fertile phase. So if you have ejaculatory sexual inter course from day 10 from the first day of period and to day 20, the chances of pregnancy are much more. There are many determinants of pregnancy. You should be sexually matured. Your partner should be sexually matured. The period of your partner should be in the fertile stage. Female egg and male sperm cells should be healthy enough. Then female uterus should be capable to get conceived. If all these are satisfied, the pregnancy could be a result. Take care.

Unwanted 72 can cause irregular bleeding before the next period is due. It can delay the next period also. But the quantity of bleeding is usually less and last 4-5 days, and the period of delay is not more than 15 days. To know if she is pregnant, you may go for urine pregnancy test 7 days after she misses next period. And if negative, repeat it after another 7 days.

She is 22 year and 3 months. She is use to have heavy flow during her periods. Please help me ASAP. Thank you.

If she had normal 4-5 days flow in her last cycle, which finished a day before 31st dec 2015, then she was on the 5th or 6th day of her current cycle when the condom broke. Now if she usually has a 28-30 days cycle, then her egg would rupture only on the 14-16th day. So as of now the sperm has no egg to fertilise. You should not worry about accidental pregnancy if the facts are correct as above.

Hello- This kind of menstrual bleeding is known as Atyartav in ayurveda. This condition is really serious because of the blood loss involved in this. Try these ayurvedic tips to get rid of the condition. A) Avoid spicy, salty, fried and junk food immediately. B) Avoid late night sessions. C) Avoid fish. D) Use Ashokarishta 2 tsp twice a day with water. F) Gulkanda with Prawal pishti 1 tsp thrice a day. Follow above schedule and after some time go for a pelvic ultrasound and share the reports from me.

I am 17 as I told you I had sex after my periods 2 days after we used flavoured condom .are flavoured condom safe? and after doing by had becoming after 2 or 3 min I touched inside pussy we did it day before yesterday and yesterday night I had lots of stomach pain, back pain and little vomit sensation. Is there any chance of getting pregnant?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda, Khagaria
Flavored condoms are safe. And pain may be due to erosion or infection, you may take some pain killer medicine like combiflam 1 tablet two times a day for 1-2 day. If it does not work then you should consult a gynaecologist. And menstrual cycle is of 28 days. And after starting menstruation (blood flow) first 7-8 days and last 21-28 days are safe. So if you have done in this time frame. Then chances are negligible for pregnancy. You may go for HCG test (card) test for pregnancy using morning urine.
