Dr. Nilen Rao

Dr. Niren Rao has independently performed 30 PCNLS, 50 ureterostomies, 50 transurethral resections of bladder tumor, and 20 cases of TURP. Also he has independently performed open surgeries like simple nephrectomies, radical nephrectomies, pyeloplasties, urethroplasties. He has assisted in various open procedures like radical cystectomies (> 50 cases), RPLND (7-8cases), augmentation cystoplasties, Radical nephreureterectomies, radical nephrectomies etc. He has also assisted in various laparoscopic procedures like Lap nephrectomies, lap pyeloplasties , lap adrenalectomies, lap partial nephrectomies and Dr. Rao has also assisted in various robotic procedures like robotic radical prostatectomies, robotic radical cystectomies, radical nephrectomies, pyeloplasties, partial nephrectomies. He has attended several conferences which include International Conference RGCON 2006 on 18/03/06-19/03/06 at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Surgery update 2007 from 24/09/08-29/09/08 at Maulana Azad Medical College, North Zone USICON 2013, PGI Chandigarh and USICON 2014, Delhi.
