Saving a fallen tooth can be useful. Try to keep it in place while you seek immediate medical attention. If that is not the case, try wrapping the tooth in a piece of plastic or soaking it into milk and call for immediate dental service.

On Jan 15th I had met with accident and I lost my upper first two teeth and also from left third one is damaged but its I had root canal Now my question is Dental bridge for for teeth is better or implant? If I go for dental bridge can I bite hard items while eating? Which is the best quality dental bridge for front 4 teeth? Thanks in advance. :-)

Dentist, Trichy
Weather u can do implants or bridges can be determined dep on ur age, bone density n various other factors. Consult your dentist for evaluation of the same. And coming to biting hard food, its not advisable be it metal ceramic or full ceramic bridge or implants. Long term biting with dental bridge or implant may cause cracks ,ultimately leading to breakages. Food cut into pieces n eating s advisable. Full ceramic bridges are recommended as far as aesthetics is prime concern.

I have problem in my teeth quiet often they bleed and smelling even I use to do cleaning from dental and regular brush at least once in day. Could you please suggest me the what to do what not Thanks

BDS, CDE Endo-Prostho, CDE - Cast Partial & Complete Dentures

Hello, Bleeding from gums and bad breath could be because of deposits on your teeth and food lodged in between your teeth. You need to visit the dentist and get a deep scaling and polishing done. Brush twice a day. Maintain proper brushing technique. Rinse after every meal. Floss regularly.

Central incisor of my upper jaw bent forward. Is there any solution for normal alignment of my teeth?

A.C.C.I - Accredited and Certified Course in Implantology, MDS - Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, BDS
Dentist, Jammu
Dear, There are many solutions for it - some short term - others long term. It all depends upon your clinical condition and the severity of your central incisor inclination. It will be wiser to give you options on undertaking a clinical examination. So go to the best Dental Surgeon in your area who is known to deliver a good quality dental care. For some of the pics you can even go Ahal Dental Clinic page on the facebook. There are many cases there that may interest you and you can ask your Dental Surgeon to provide with you the same if feasible.

Don't rush, when you brush: for maximum results, brush your teeth for atleast 2 to 3 minutes.

If its an acidity problem I gets bad breath even aftr brushing in early morning. Due to dis bad breathe I cant able to communicate with people bcz of bad breath. My parents has complained about my bad breathe nd friends also complained it few years ago. I donno wats de actual reason. Due to dis bad breathe i'm totally disturbed. Nd its from many years. Thank you.

Diet is a common bad breath culprit. Foods such as garlic and onions, in particular, can foul your breath. Once your food is digested, chemicals that cause odour can be absorbed into your bloodstream and from there into your lungs; these chemicals then are exhaled. Diets high in protein and sugar also have been associated with bad breath. Infections in the mouth, such as dental caries (tooth decay), periodontal (gum) disease or mouth sores related to other conditions may contribute to bad breath.Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth may be a warning sign of gum (periodontal) disease. Gum disease is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth.Dry mouth also can cause bad breath.Smoking or chewing tobacco-based products also can cause bad breath, You may need deep cleaning & fill tooth cavities with artificial enamel filling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then.

One of my female friend is suffering from mucocele. She's gone to a local doctor and he pressed the mucocele and asked her for wait for 3 to 4 days. And again she is having the same problem and this time more wide and she is feeling some pain as well. What should she do?

BDS
Dentist, Kolar
Pressing of mucocele is not its treatment. It keeps coming back again n again. It can't b treated with medicines. It is best treated with its excision. It is a small surgical procedure. Visit an oral n maxillofacial surgeon for the same.

Please apply volini gel on the neck. It might be due to aberrant posture while extracting the tooth. It will improve in a few days.
