Hello As you need to loose weight you need to start having balanced diet. Don't skip your breakfast. Try to include Almonds, walnuts in you diet. Try to avoid fried foods, fatty meats, cold drinks, packed fruit juices, syrups etc. Include more vegetables and fruits in your diet. Dnt skip any meal. Try to do your dinner early and dinner should be light. Start your day with luke warm water. Do small- smalll meals at frequent interval of time try to divide your meal into 5-6 times. Hello you need to start involving in some kind of physical activity. E. G jogging, cardio etc as per your preference. And try to take small and frequent meals. Try to include more fiber food in your diet e. G beans, Dalia etc. Drink plenty of water. Dnt skip any meal. Try to avoid fried foods and sugary drinks. Try to go through thyroid profile test. Hello if you are suffering from gastric problem then, start taking a tablespoon of cumin seeds and boil it in two cups of water for 10-15 minutes. Let it cool down, strain and drink the water early morning then you have to maintain a healthy lifestyle for that try to have your breakfast on time and include fiber in your breakfast e.g upma, milk dalia, poha etc As rice is the only grain that does not induce gas production. But if you are experiencing bloating and gas pain, its better to replace your grains with rice. Include more fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. Drink plenty of water. As this is the summer time try to include seasonal fruits e.g watermelon, muskmelon. Do not skip any meal try to divide your meals into 5-6 times. Include chaas, dahi more. Hello sir, Did your wife ever go through the Thyroid profile test. If she have muscles pain opt for VIT-D and VIT-B12 test also. If she feel bloating then, start giving jeera-1/2 tsp + ajwain-1/2 tsp soaked in 1 glass of water strain in the morning and try to give her early morning. If she is taking tea /coffee try to avoid giving empty stomach. Include more vegetables and fruits in her diet. Try to include seasonal fruits e, g watermelon, muskmelon, mangoes. Dnt skip any meal take small and frequent meal. Try to divide meals in 5-6 times. Include more chaas, dahi. As rice is the only grain that does not induce gas production. Hello Lybrate user as per your given information your ht.-6 feet and wt-80 kg according to that your BMI -23.9 that is Normal. But in many cases like you said in your question that you need to reduce your tummy for that you need to start doing some exercises e.g- crunches, plank, bicycle exercise. Followed by strength training. Plus you need to start taking healthy diet try to include protein e.g sprouts, milk, curd, paneer, egg. Try to drink plenty of water. Don't skip any meal. Try to have your dinner early and dinner should be light e, g dalia, rice+ dal. Include 1 tsp ghee at lunch time. Hello As per your height and weight your BMI comes under obese category. You need to start indulging yourself into some physical activities e.g walking, jogging, cardio etc. You need to maintain a healthy lifestyle for that you don't have to skip any meal. As you r school student you need start involving yourself in some more physical activities. As part of your diet concern in the morning when you leave for the school you need to take some overnight soaked almonds plus walnuts. In breakfast instead of having paranthas and all you can have poha, upma, sandwiches etc according to your preference. And drink plenty of water don't skip any meal. Don't think that by skipping meal you can Loose weight because this totally a myth. Try to do your dinner early. And include dairy products e. G milk, chaas, Dahi. My total cholesterol was 240 with hdl 25 ldl 160 and tri 220. My doctor advised me me take rosulip f 10 for 10 days after which total cholesterol came down to 157 with hdl 29 ldl 100 and tri 120. Now my doctor advised my take this medicine on alternate day for a month. After that test to be done again. Seek your opinion on this, can I leave the medicine after this course or need to on pil permanently. My height is 5'7' Weight 169 I did not find any problem due to high cholesterol yet. Please suggest.

Hello According to your ht. And wt. You come under obese category. As per your current reports your HDL level was low and that is the good cholesterol. You need to loose your weight and need to increase your HDL level. For that you need to start taking overnight soaked almonds and walnuts. Include flax seeds in your diet. And start using oilve oil or mustard oil. Start avoiding fatty meats, fried foods, full fat dairy products, start doing some physical activity.
