My ankle was twisted. And ligament are teared now , and there here hair line crack in my fibula bone. My ankle is get swollen after I put my ankle on floor. Doctor has given me the advice to take a rest up to 3. Week .How much time it will take to recover from this? And any solution to reduce ankle swelling. On plaster?

U have a fracture in the fibula so u need a plaster for a minimum of 6 weeks and keep the leg elevated most if the time to decrease the swelling. Some drugs are also available to decrease the pain and swelling.

Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform

Having pain at the foot angle at both legs for more than a month. Also got a lower back pain at right side from yesterday. This is increasing while sitting for some and is better while walking. Did some hot water treatment and is better but still pain is there. Please advice on this.

If it's an acute pain than do any exercise. You need to rest the joint and apply ice for 15-20 min, 4-5 times a day for 5days. Its a chronic means you having it for more time than please consult with the nearer physiotherapist doctor. Bez your shoulder is a complex joint and you can't start exercise without physiotherapist assessment and advises.

Keep tab continue avoid spicy food do physical activity and exercises also core strengthen exercise and drink the water at least 14 glass per day and add in your diet papaya.

Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

My friend has broken his leg before 3 years. doctors treated him n they have put a rod in his leg. After 6 months he was good. He was walking but his leg was became some wat short (3 inches. After removing rod it will come into the previous state are it will be short like now.

DEAR Shoulder pain Physiotherapy uses a number of different physical methods to promote healing. If you are referred to a physiotherapist, they should explain to you what treatment they will use and how it will work. Hold this position for 5 seconds and slowly return your head to the start position. •2. Keep your eyes centred on one object directly in front of you, now slowly move your head down. Keep your eyes centred on one object directly in front of you, turn your head to the left, your vision should be in line with your left shoulder. Can't be given if you r diabetic. Calcaneal spur per se is not the cause of pain. It is the swelling of sole membrane known as plantar fasicitis. Self limiting process.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Hi you must consult to a good physiotherapist. There could be some nerve getting compressed from the neck which is giving pain in the arm. Muscle like trapezeus may be harbouring trigger points. Physiotherapist will release the trigger point and help you to abolish the pain and teach you some exercises that has to be done by you.
