This habit is called Bruxism. Habit of grinding teeth or clenching their jaw under stress. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. A grinding mouthguard can be made. This is like a sports mouthguard, but harder. It will help protect the teeth, muscles and jaw joint from the pressure of clenching and grinding. It will not stop bruxism and in some cases can make the actual grinding worse, but it will lessen the damage to your teeth.

I am 20 years old and I have a problem facing with mouth ulcer.
Give some health tips.
Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need coronoplasty (smoothen teeth edges) along with t. Rebagen 10, morning one tab & one at night for 5 days, c. Becosules 5 cap, for five days in the morning after meals. Hexigel ointment on the area of ulcer. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical. Strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

Kindly get scaling and polishing done and if you want you can also get bleaching done. Kindly get an X-ray done of the tooth having pain. If it is your wisdom tooth then you may have to get it removed and if it is a molar tooth then you may have to get root canal treatment done followed by a cap /crown. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique to maintain your oral hygiene.

What should I do when blood is coming out from tongue every day during mouthwash?

Bleeding tongue is not common. It might be because of infection or other oral condition. Visit a dentist.

Mae jab bhi tongue cleaner se tongue saaf krta hu hamesha tongue se khoon niklne lg jaada hai. Tongue mae cuts aa jaate hai.

I recommend you to stop brushing your tonque for 1-2 weeks and see what happen. And when you resume brushing, just use a smoother and a more soft textured toothbrush instead, if bleeding continue, see your doctor for further advise,

I have a teeth which needs rct but I am very much scared of the pain. As I also have a injection phobia. Get faint out. How to get rid of tooth pain. I put cotton to cover cavity so temprly no food goes there. Please advice.

Dentist, Kolhapur
Fainting during injection is due to fear of something. What do you fear of. Ask your doc to spray anaesthetic over area where it's to be injected. This will reduce the pain of injection you r taking.

I visited my dentist for straightening of my 26 years old sister' front teeth. He advised me for pre molar teeth extraction and told that it may take 2 years in complete treatment. Before that he is going to start pyorrhea treatment. I want to know has my dentist advised me right? how pyorrhea is treated? is this a surgical treatment? how much it costs? is teeth extraction 100 % safe or there is any risk? will after teeth extraction my sister smile/eat like normal?

BDS
Dentist, Bangalore
Upper arch expansion is newer approach for gaining space instead of extractiing premolars. So i' ll advice you not to go for extraction. Pyorrhea is infection of gums that makes your teeth weak & associated with bad breath. It is treated by nonsurgical means, scalling( cleaning debris deposit over your teeth) & root planing. Adjunct: chlorhexidine mouthrinse & warm saline mouthrinse.

Hello as a home remedy you can apply baking soda over your teeth or do baking soda in water mouthrinses. If the ulcer persists, you need to consult a physician and get your Vitamin B levels checked. If required take supplements for it.
