Its most likely ganglionic degenerative tissue. If its causing visually odd appearance or pain or difficulty in movement of joint its suggested you get it removed. Its a very minor procedure. We puncture it wid a needle and suck it out. If its ganglion. U shud consult a surgeon for confirmation and treatment.

Hey, I use to play badminton sports from past 2 months, when I join after 2 week my racket side elbow start paining ,even I can't able to play force shoot and continuous game just because its start paining hard. Hello yes it can be inflammation of extensor or flexors tendons Origins near elbow joint first of all you need to give rest to your elbow, apply ice packs and take some medicines to reduce pain you can also use tennis elbow brace most of the time this remedy solves the problem.

Back pain can result from bad posture, a sudden jerky movement, a lumpy mattress or poor lifting techniques. It can also be caused by injury in a work place, by a sports accident or by muscular spasms. There are also many diseases and pathological conditions that can lead to back pain. These include abdominal or pelvic disease, anxiety, arthritis, cervical or lumbar spondylosis, dermatological problems, kidney disease, rheumatic conditions, tumours and scoliosis. Our modern, sedentary lifestyles have a profound effect on the development of back pain; indeed one of the most effective ways of preventing it is simply to stay active. An average adult in the India spends at least two hours a day in front of a computer screen or television set, and back problems can be triggered if they don’t sit properly. In an age of mobile phones and computer games, such troubles are increasingly inflicting children of school age as well. Top tips for back care: For back pain, better to see your Doctor sooner than later. Take regular exercise – your Doctor can say what’s right for you. Hours in one position can cause problems – avoid computer ‘hump’. During repetitive tasks, vary your rhythm and take frequent breaks. Adjust car seats and on long journeys, take regular breaks to stretch. Pace yourself with heavy work such as gardening – don’t risk a disc! Watch children’s posture – they shouldn’t carry bags on one shoulder or spend too long at a computer without breaks. Avoid strain when lifting, particularly small children and shopping. Your bed could be part of the problem. Seek Doctor advice on choosing a new one. Take a hot bath or shower, soaking in a hot tub, or using a heating pad, hot water bottle, or heat wrap that provides continuous, low-level heat are all ways to bring healing warmth to your lower back.

Requires examination and investigation in detail. Presently investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d xray of the affected part. Anyway you may try sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform

Hello lybrate user I think you are asking about headache. It's depending upon the site or area of head. As you have already mentioned regular sitting work on computer system. So firstly it can be neck pain because of long time your neck having or attained same position. It gets muscle weakness and pain. Secondly due to over stressed eyes like vision problem can also create head pain but surrounding eyes and forehead. If headache has been not treated it tends to be converted in migraine. You can consult to good physician.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. I am suffering from back pain after delivery. I had a sizerian 8 months before. What should I do to relief the pain.
Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. After so many years, I played badminton. I played continuous 3 days. But after that when we continue playing. A pain occur on joints of both the leg. When I stop playing after 1 hour .pain s vanish. Again next day when I play again same problem.

Dear lybrate user, you were exposed to activity suddenly after many years. This puts stress on joints and bones. knee joint specifically bears weight of whole body. weight bearing exercises should be increased gradually. Do not miss warm up before exercise and stretching before and after exercise . Apply warm sesame oil to all your joints once in a day as a primary treatment.

A good way to diffuse general body pains: 1.take a long hot bath in water in which a few cups of Epsom salts have been added. 2.If you suspect your body and pains are due to stress-get plenty of sleep and try to reduce or eliminate the cause of your stress. 3.Meditation, deep breathing and yoga.

It might be of muscle strain or of pathological reasons do take strengthening and stretching exercises from neuro physiotherapist and take balanced diet best wishes.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hello , Use CMD2 eye drop , 2 drop in each eye twice daily. Take Ruta 30 , 3 drops twice daily. Also get your eyes tested by an eye specialist. Take Gelsemium 30 ch , 3 drops twice daily and Apply Topi MP gel on the painful area.

RA i s a degenerative infective auto immune type disease and it requires serious management systematically .Symply doing some exercise and food regimen canot do any help to cure tis disease .Even the state of the illness , duration etc to be known to advise on these matters.Anyhow I can give suggestions ..Usually excess use of chillies, curd,big fish meat fried and oily items,are tob avoided. Use easily digestible food items to get it easily digested otherwise it can cause metabolic complications .Green gram soup, wheat items , small banana fruit, and almost all vegitable items are advised .Bowel movements to be normal and regular.Avoid excess use of painkillers .

we blessed a baby girl on November 26th, 2013 in CMC hospital Vellore. After delivery the same day night I got affected with rheumatology and from there onwards am continuously taking medicines. Fol -5, Zempred and HCQS tablets. Today I have confirmed am conceiving by doing Pregtest. Kindly suggest can I continue my pregnancy or not. If continuing by taking the above medicines is that will affect the baby growth? Kindly help me in this.

U might be having an acute attack of rheumatism. I won't advice pregnancy in a acute attack. Again the chance of transmission to the baby should be ruled out. Have your disease controlled first n then plan pregnancy.
