Approx 5 to 6 years ago when I carry gas cylinder for replacement of new cylinder.At that time left side of back mussel clump and suffering pain . 3 days I can't move any where.And can't turn for sleeping any side.Take high doze painkiller .Use Volini gel.Then get some relief .Take some days for normal. My question is in future I will face any problem for that above.

You appear to have suffered from acute back spasm. You are likely to get it again in case you lift heavy weights suddenly. Avoid lifting weights. Perform good back strengthening exercises. Maintain good posture while sitting.

Hello lybrate-user, back pain occur due to many reason: 1: muscle spasm 2: disc problem 3: stiff back 4: postural fault 5: traumatic history so it will be better if you send me your detail such as your symptoms either it is localised or radiate till your leg. Back strengthening exercise plays important role in releiving pain. Core muscle strengthening plays important role in releiving pain. So consult a physio and learn some strengthening exercise and start doing it guided by them.

I'm 29 years old, male. I had met two wheeler accident, my left leg tibia bone fractured and nailing, inserted 2 years before. Actually my tibia bones bridged, its k ican l remove nailing or leave as it is.

Rods (nail) from the fractured bones must be removed only after the fractures have united beyond doubt. It must be undertaken at fully equipped centers. Nail (rod) removal at times becomes very difficult. We have good centers in delhi. If you wish it can be arranged in delhi.

I an 42 years old female. I have two boys one 15 years old and one 10 years. Both the deliveries were c section. I am suffering from lower back ache since the birth of my first child and I have this belief that my anesthetic had injected me on my lower back, due to which I am having this pain. So how true is it?

Hello , unfortunately it is true, most of the times this pain remains there, and you are not the only one complaining of it. That is why c section is not preferred except when complication are there. Regards

Hip Pain -- From Arthritis or Bursitis?


The hip is an area of the body dense with bone, ligaments, tendons, and muscles—all of which can cause pain if something goes wrong. Just like with low back pain, the source of hip pain can be difficult to pinpoint.


Hip bursitis pain usually originates from the outside of the hip.

What is hip bursitis?

Hip bursitis is often the culprit of hip pain. But because of its tendency to share symptoms with hip osteoarthritis or lower back pain, hip bursitis is known as “the Great Mimicker.”


Hip bursitis occurs when the hip joint’s bursa, a thin sack on the outside of the joint that protects it, becomes inflamed. Hip bursitis can be caused by an injury to the hip or by an underlying issue, such as a pinched nerve in the back.

Bursitis and osteoarthritis: comparing symptoms

A closer look at the symptoms of hip bursitis and hip osteoarthritis can help distinguish the two:

Hip bursitis symptoms:

Hip pain is on the outside of the lower hip
Pain can start sharply and gradually change to a dull ache
Pain may spread to the thigh, lower back, groin, or buttock
Pain is worse after prolonged inactivity (like sleeping or sitting) or repetitive activity (like jogging or climbing stairs)
Pain and tenderness may increase when pressure is put on the affected hip, such as when lying on your side


Hip osteoarthritis symptoms:

The pain originates from the inside of the hip joint, so it's often felt in the buttock, groin, and thigh as well as the hip
Pain and stiffness comes on gradually and gets worse over time
The hip feels stiff and inflexible
There may be grating or creaking sensations
Secondary pain may appear in the knee because of hip stiffness or deformity

Both of these conditions can be managed through ayurvedic & panchkarma therapies.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

If the pain is less than 2 weeks you may try with some ice packs and simple quadriceps toning and hamstring stretches. If the pain persist more than 2 days do you can meet a near by physio. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

Hi You may engage a physiotherapist for exercises of back and knee. For backache take Ace-proxyvon 1BD for 5 days. Nothing to worry for knee Apply voveran TPS gel in both places after hot fomentation it will settle.

For sex how can I give suggestions, only I can give you suggestion for you problem. First consult any orthopaedic doctor, for sciatica nerve compression, after that meet physiotherapist where he/she is teach you some spinal related exercise and as per requirement use some modalities like I.f.t. Pain in the arm can result from a number of factors. Abnormalities or injury of the skin, nerves, bones, joints, blood vessels, and soft tissues of the arm can all result in pain. Arm pain may be the result of referred pain from another part of the body. Please go to a physiotherapist to assess and treat the underlying condition. If pain is caused by an activity, modify or stop the activity. Rest the arm and resume activity gradually. Monitor the response to the activity. Pain experienced in the right arm is usually not serious, but when it is coupled with other symptoms like pain in the leg or tightness of the chest, it may be more serious. Try some home remedies: ice will reduce pain and swelling. Apply ice or cold packs immediately to prevent or minimize swelling. Apply the ice or cold pack for 10 to 20 minutes, 3 or more times a day. Elevate the painful area on pillows while applying ice and anytime you are sitting or lying down. Try to keep the area at or above the level of your heart to help minimize swelling. Apply heat and begin gentle exercise with the aid of moist heat to help restore and maintain flexibility. Some experts recommend alternating between heat and cold treatments. Gently massage or rub the area to relieve pain and encourage blood flow. Do not massage the area if it causes pain. Do not smoke or use other tobacco products. Smoking slows healing because it decreases blood supply and delays tissue repair. Best wishes.
