Hi lybrate user. There is no suitable day or time for a thyroid test. Its preferable to do it early morning though but no restriction regarding the days, as such.

My wife is having some mental problem she is taking three type of medicine (zipax1 mg)(olimelt 10) (diva 750) she fatty day by day becoz of these medicine and one more thing is there is any sideeffect for pregnancy please help.

Hi, Take tab. Ayapon 2 tab 3 times a day till the bleeding stops along with Ashokarista 2tsf 3 times a day with equal quantity of water mixed with it. Avoid hot and spicy food.

These medicines have nothing to do with your low Hb levels. Therefore continue with them as advised by your Physician. I would advice you to take iron supplements to increase your iron levels. Also take food like fish, chicken and green leafy vegetables, bananas that are rich sources of iron.

Hi virginity is lost after your 1st contact with your husband. Bleeding after contact now may be because of some infection. What is your age? if it is above 30 yrs, after treating the infection, you should get a colposcopy examination done.

12-16 days of her periods are only there to get pregnant. It's easy to calculate. Just add 12 to her first day of periods example 10 april her first day of periods them 10+12=22, 23, 24, 25, 26 april are her fertile periods to get pregnant.

You should reduce breast feeding gradually not suddenly. You may have breast engorgement which causes pain. If it is so, you have to remove milk from breasts. For pain, you take any pain killer.

Hi, After menopause, the oestrogen levels go down and as a result it affects the bones causing arthritis and osteoporosis. Hence a women needs to start on calcium supplements to take care of their bone density. Drink two glasses of milk everyday which is rich in calcium. There is a tendency of weight gain after menopause. So, perform some physical exercises like yoga. walking and do meditation to keep your mind calm. Be careful about diet . Cut down on high calorie diet like sweets, oil fried food, chats, bakery food, etc. Be active. Get your sugar levels, serum calcium levels, Vit. D3 levels and cholesterol levels tested once in a year.

Morning- 1 cup low fat milk. 1 slice whole wheat toast, you can also take fiber rich oat in breakfast, with fruits. You should do ultrasound examination of breasts. Breast pain is a common problem if it occurs before periods, because it happens due to hormonal changes, however if the pain stays all through the month or if you can feel some lump/swelling then you must do ultrasound examination of breasts.
