Ovulation releases many hormones and these lead to these changes which you experience. It could be pms too. The only definite symptom of pregnancy is a missed period. Till the period date is crossed, one generally cannot diagnose pregnancy by just symptoms and it needs either beta hcg estimation, but the levels are dificult to interpret. So wait for the period date. If it is crossed, you can do the urine pregnancy test on an early morning sample and please do it in lab, as home tests give false results.

How Does Sinus Affect Health

Any ailment can cause a breakdown of one's overall well-being due to the onslaught of related symptoms, and sinus problem is no different. Sinusitis refers to inflammation or swelling of the tissue that lines the sinus, which are passages filled with air and lie in the nasal tract. 

Sometimes, these passages get blocked with germs, fluid and other elements that can give rise to infections and allergic reactions. Here are the ways in which this condition can affect your health:

  • Related ailments: One of the most common outcomes of sinus blockage is common cold, which can happen when the passages do not get proper movement of air. Further, it can also cause allergic rhinitis which is also known as hay fever and comes with its own set of symptoms like a runny nose, blocked nose and ears, watery eyes and other signs. A build-up of nasal polyps can also take place in the blocked path of the sinus, while the nasal cavity can also shift, causing a deviated septum. 
  • Pain: We have many sinuses that are located in various parts of our head, including the areas above and below the eyes. As a part of the sinus attack, one may experience pain and fluid fullness in these areas. These regions can ache when there is a sinus infection. This pain can also be caused by the dull pressure exerted by inflammation, and the pain can then travel down to jaws, teeth and even between eyes. 
  • Headaches: The constant pressure and persistent pain in the various areas containing the sinus can lead to long term headaches which will be at their worst in the mornings. This is due to the fact that the fluids have been accumulating throughout the night. These headaches can get worse if there is a change in the temperature. 
  • Congestion: Congestion is also a common symptom of sinus infection. The swollen sinuses can lead to constrictions in the nasal passage, which can obstruct normal breathing. This will lead to congestion, which can also affect the senses of taste and smell. 
  • Cough and discharge: A patient suffering from a sinus infection may end up blowing his or her nose more often than normal. This will usually happen because a yellowing greenish discharge will drain into the nasal passages on a regular basis during the infection. When this discharge bypasses the nasal tract and reaches the throat, it can also cause persistent coughing. It is best to ask for medical intervention and practice steaming to relive the painful symptoms of this condition.

I'LL suggest do check her follicular study from day 10 of her period. & your semen analysis . if both ok then u should have sexual intercourse from day 10 to day 18 .keep pillow below her butt.

I am 21 years old having a problem of pcod in border line. My periods are irregular. Is there any requirement of immediate treatment? What are the problems associated with this in my future? Please suggest me an advice and tell me some home remedies for this.

Hello lybrate-user, if you have border line pcod, the best way to stay away from it is by performing regular exercise. You can perform any exercise that you are comfortable with but I would suggest you do yoga. Yogic asanas like paschimottanasan, suryanamaskar, tadasan and shirshasan together are very beneficial for pcod. If you regularly perform these exercises and walk for at least 30 minutes a day, you will prevent pcod. A minimum exercise of 1 hour is needed in a day.

28 days is normal date bt +2 &-2 is also normal means 26days or 30 day. Calculate from first day or from the date of menses appear.

10 simple and easy ways to cut down calories this Rakshabandhan!

No doubt it's really difficult to cut down calories during festival. However you can try to cut down calories by using the following smart ways.
1. Prepare yourself for the rakshabandhan-this means you need to be careful from few days in advance and have a check on your calorie intake right from the morning of rakshabandhan
Start replacing your usual breakfast with food items with minimum calories so that you can have space for more calories when you meet your relatives &friends.
2. Cut calories at work - avoid drinking 4-5 cups of tea or coffee when at work this will help you cut down 200-250 calories.
3. Cut down intake of cola-drinking a cola bottle with lunch or dinner means additional 145 calories. Avoid this.
4. Work out-make up your mind to add some time to your workout schedule before & after festival. This will help you shred some of the additional weight &also prepare your body not to absorb fat through sweet & other rich food items.
5. Foods rich in fiber & water - try to opt for food items that are rich in fiber & enjoy your food while you eat.
6. Dinner-pay attention to what you take at dinner. Serve this at your home, you can either take low calorie food item or simply drink a glass of milk. It is completely up to you.

Its not too early for detecting pregnancy if the results is negative then I suggest you do one more pregnancy test for confirmation if it shows negative then you was not pregnant due to hormonal disbalance or other gynecology problem, obesity, pcod etc some time cause of late menstrual period.

Success rate doesn't depend on centres the overall success rate of ivf is 50 to 60 % only you became pregnant at the first try also why not to try that centre only.

How do you suppose to sit?

  • Keep your feet on the floor or on a footrest, if they don't reach the floor.

  • Don't cross your legs. Your ankles should be in front of your knees.

  • Keep a small gap between the back of your knees and the front of your seat.

  • Your knees should be at or below the level of your hips.

  • Adjust the backrest of your chair to support your low- and mid-back or use a back support.

  • Relax your shoulders and keep your forearms parallel to the ground.

  • Avoid sitting in the same position for long periods of time.


 

How you should stand properly?

  • Bear your weight primarily on the balls of your feet.

  • Keep your knees slightly bent.

  • Keep your feet about shoulder-width apart.

  • Let your arms hang naturally down the sides of the body.

  • Stand straight and tall with your shoulders pulled backward.

  • Tuck your stomach in.

  • Keep your head level-your earlobes should be in line with your shoulders. Do not push your head forward, backward, or to the side.

  • Shift your weight from your toes to your heels, or one foot to the other, if you have to stand for a long time.

     

What is the proper lying position?

  1. Find the mattress that is right for you. While a firm mattress is generally recommended, some people find that softer mattresses reduce their back pain. Your comfort is important.

  2. Sleep with a pillow. Special pillows are available to help with postural problems resulting from a poor sleeping position.

  3. Avoid sleeping on your stomach.

  4. Sleeping on your side or back is more often helpful for back pain. If you sleep on your side, place a pillow between your legs. If you sleep on your back, keep a pillow under your knees.

Pls have sex during fertile days of the cycle, thst is day 7-17 of cycle, counting first day of periods as day 1. Give yourself time of 6 months with this method. If no use, investigations will be advised.

What breakfast should be given to your kids before exams?

When you are studying for your finals, good nutrition slides down on the priority list. Eat smart during morning. The idea is to get some protein, calcium, fibre etc. A bowl of cereal with milk and a piece of fruit would do the trick. The best food is banana, blueberries etc for your brain as they are the powerful antioxidants and contain natural sugar which offers clear energy.
You can add scrambled eggs, spinach, bell peppers, brocolli to your meal. The darker the color, the higher the concentration of nutrients.

How much is tea or coffee adivised?

Coffee/tea contains caffeine which is a stimulant. Too much caffeine can interfere in calcium absorption and affects the proper growth. In addition adding cream or sugar can leads to weight gain and cavities. Few sips is no big deal. In children who consume caffein may have some negative cardiovascular and neurological effects like anxiety, insomnia, mood swings, hyperactivity, poor appetite. As caffein is an addictive and addiction in any age is bad especially in childhood. Still if you want to take tea or coffee then I say not more than 150 mg (2 cups) to avoid negative side effects. 

What should kids eat during the preparation to avoid sleep and laziness? 

They shouls eat smaller 5-6 meals in a day rather than going for heavy breakfast, lunch, dinner to avoid sleep and laziness. They should eat smarter to maintain physical and mental energy necessary to study well. Eg iron rich food - meat, cereal, spinach.
Vitamin rich food like whole grain, wheat germ, eggs, nuts etc
Fish and soya are tge brain boosters
Smart snacking can enhance studying. It not only balance the nutrient levels but also keep blood sugar level stable. Eg a small baked potato or sweet potato, a banana etc 
Last but not the least, you have to stay hydrated, as discussed caffein should be kept to a minimum. Better choices include water, fruit juices, milk, antioxidant rich green tea etc.
