Hello. We can't make the grey hair turn black, but of course, prevent further greying! The causes of premature greying of hair are several. Here we have listed out a few common causes. Heredity is a major reason for hair greying Excessive use of tobacco and smoking Chronic emotional stress or psychological worries Lack of nutrients such as vitamins, iron, copper and iodine in the diet Medical conditions such as anemia, hypothyroidism, tuberous sclerosis or neurofibromatosis Home Remedies: 1. Add the curry leaves to the oil and boil it for 6 to 8 minutes, or till the leaves turn black. Remove from flame and let it cool. Strain the oil in a container and massage your scalp and hair with this oil 3 to 4 times per week before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 2. Turn the fenugreek seeds to a smooth powder and keep aside. Heat the oil and add the amla pieces to it, let it boil for 5 to 6 minutes, add the fenugreek powder to the oil, let it boil for another minute and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the oil, apply on scalp and hair before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 3. Mix onion and lemon juice in a glass bowl and apply on scalp and hair evenly. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash off with a mild herbal shampoo. Repeat it 4 to 5 times a week for 2 weeks. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine – Schwabe's Acid Phos. 200/ once daily and Weisbaden 200/ twice daily – all of them for 1 month. And a multivitamin - A to Z/ 1 cap. daily once for 1 month (as deficiency of zinc, copper and selenium can also cause premature greying). Use Schwabe's Arnica Shampoo and Hair Growth Oil. Hello my weight is 75 and height is 154 cm most of my body weight is at hip and thighs. I joined gym and did workouts like treadmill, stepper, cycling etc but no change in weight I did for 4 months. Now I stopped gym and going for walk for 45 min nd 30 min workouts daily but I haven't seen any results I want the reason. And want to reduce my size please help me nearly I want to reduce 8 inches.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

What are the symptoms of of cancer? From five days I was suffering from wooophing cough is that a chance of cancer? I have habit of smoking.

You may have what is called a 'smokers cough'. But since you are worried I suggest you can go for a test by consulting your doctor. For the symptoms of cancer: Lung Cancer Signs and Symptoms (Sourced from Medicinenet.com) Lung cancer is the most common cancer in men and the fifth most common in women, even causing more cancer-related deaths in women than breast cancer. The incidence of lung cancer is strongly correlated with cigarette smoking, with about 90% of lung cancers arising as a result of tobacco use. Symptoms of lung cancer are varied dependent upon the exact location of the tumor and the extent of its spread. A person with lung cancer may have the following kinds of symptoms: • No symptoms - Up to 25% of people who get lung cancer do not have any symptoms when the cancer is found. In these cases the cancer is first discovered on a routine chest X-ray or computerized tomography(CT) scan performed for another reason. • Symptoms related to the cancer - The growth of the cancer and invasion of the lung and surroundings may lead to symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain, and coughing up blood (hemoptysis). If the cancer has invaded nerves, it may cause shoulder pain that travels down the outside of the arm (called Pancoast syndrome) or paralysis of the nerves traveling to the vocal cords that leads to hoarseness. Invasion of the esophagus may lead to difficulty swallowing (dysphagia). If a large airway is obstructed, collapse of a portion of the lung may occur and cause infections (abscesses, pneumonia) in the obstructed area. • Symptoms related to metastasis (spread to other organs) - Lung cancer that has spread to the bones may produce excruciating pain at the sites of bone involvement. Cancer that has spread to the brain may cause a number of neurologic symptoms that may include blurred vision, headaches, seizures, confusion or altered thought processes, or symptoms of stroke. • Paraneoplastic symptoms - Lung cancers frequently are accompanied by so-called paraneoplastic syndromes that result from production of hormone-like substances by the tumor cells that are released into the blood. A common paraneoplastic syndrome associated with one type of lung cancer is the production of a hormone called adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) by the cancer cells, leading to over secretion of another hormone, cortisol, by the adrenal glands (Cushing's syndrome). • Nonspecific symptoms - Nonspecific symptoms seen with many cancers, including lung cancers, include weight loss, weakness, and fatigue. It is important always to consult a doctor if a person develops the symptoms associated with lung cancer, in particular: • A new persistent cough or worsening of an existing chronic cough • Blood in the sputum • Persistent bronchitis or repeated respiratory infections • Chest pain • Unexplained weight loss and/or fatigue • Breathing difficulties such as shortness of breath or wheezing My advise to you is to quit smoking whether you have any of the symptoms or not. Smoking is just very dangerous to your health.

1.Do steam inhalation with Karvol plus inhalant capsule 2-3 times daily 2.Put otrivin nasal drop one drop three times daily 3. Take one tablet ofLevo cetrizine at bed time 4. if you have recurrent attack of sneezing, You may be having sinusitis or allergic rhinitis 5.take x ray/CT scan of PNS to confirm sinusitis and consult ENT specialist for advice and treatment 6. If sinusitis is excluded, then it is due to allergic rhinitis,do an allergy test after consulting allergy specialist/immunologist to find out the cause of allergy and follow the treatment and advice accordingly

Myelopathy: Types, Causes and Symptoms

Myelopathy refers to any neurological deficit pertaining to the spinal cord. The three most common types of myelopathy are Cervical myelopathy, Lumbar myelopathy and Thoracic myelopathy. Here are the causes and symptoms of myelopathy.

Causes:

  1. Injury: This is a very common cause of myelopathy. Any type of accident or even a traumatic event can cause myelopathy and perhaps even paralysis.
  2. Spinal stenosis: This is a condition in which the spinal cord narrows and is one of the leading causes of myelopathy.
  3. Degenerative disc disorders: As you get older, disc disorders are more likely to occur, as well as other conditions which affect the spinal column, such as osteoporosis, etc. 
  4. Tumor: It is a little known fact that tumors very often do cause myelopathy. 
  5. Multiple sclerosis: There are many other diseases, which may cause myelopathy and multiple sclerosis is one of them.

Symptoms: 

There are many indications that you are suffering from myelopathy and should consult a medical expert. Here are some of them: 

  1. Change in coordination: It refers to the state, wherein, all of a sudden you may find it harder to move certain limbs the way you want to. Sometimes, it may affect your whole body as well. 
  2. Sudden muscle weakness: It is highly likely, that if you have myelopathy then you will experience sudden weakness in your muscles. 
  3. Decreased hand-eye coordination: This is perhaps the biggest indicator of myelopathy since hand-eye coordination is directly linked to your spinal cord and brain and if they are not functioning properly then hand-eye coordination will be affected.

These are just some of the symptoms of myelopathy, however, the doctor cannot diagnose myelopathy until he conduct certain tests. These tests include MRI scans and other tests as well as a regular physical check-up along with a check of your medical history.

Some 6-7 days back I noticed floaters in my eye some 5-6 in my right and 4-5 in my left went to doctor said I had a minor eye disease particularly formation of grains of fungal infection at the back of my eyelid it was because of too much sunlight exposure and hot air since we experience 45°c here so what I want to ask is will my floaters go away after I am cured.

Hi, for reducing dark circles take a cotton and soak with rose water and apply around eyes and keep it overnight. Do this daily take ferrum met 200 4pills to be sucked twice a day for 15days.

My baby is 1years 3months. The problem with her is that she just does not like the in between snack i. E banana milk shake. She vomits most of her meals too. But prefers drinking milk alot. Her weight is 11.92kgs. Im just scared tht she will loose her appetite soon as she was a very good eater. Can I add something in the milk? Im very tensed. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Be relaxed, 12 kg weight is quite good at one year of age. Force feeding will induce vomiting. Parents must respect children's will. Plenty of milk is not advisable and child should be encouraged to eat home diet. Over apprehension, anxiety in parents will have effect on child's psyche. Subconsciously they will pick up the same behaviour. So monitor health by growth charts and be always cheerful, happy so that children also learn to be happy. Hope this helps.

Mixed juices of cabbage, mustard greens, kale, spinach and radishes. Drink one cup of this mixed juice once daily. Take 10 gm of dhania seeds (coriander) and add it to a glass of water. Boil and allow it to cool. Strain the mixture and take twice a day to reduce high cholestrol levels. Mix equal quantities of long pepper (pipali), black pepper and dry ginger powder. There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser your number will increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.
