Hi lybrate-user, since there is no fracture no need to worry, you must have kept your arm in rest because of the impact, you have to do exercises to breakdown the tightness (adhesion). If you do proper exercises and stretching your arm will be active.

Start with Physiotherapy treatment for any kind of Joint pain. Also take Calcium and vitamin D 3 supplement for 2 months. Drink plenty of fluids like fresh Juice and coconut water.

Hi, since 5yrs. You r having knee pain means something is wrong with you r knee. First of all you have to visit orthopaedic doctor to rule out what causing you the knee pain. Is it ligament injury. Tear. Capsule. Involved or not or something else at the same time continue with you r knee stregthning excs. Take care.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually exercises depends upon the cause of your back pain so it can be flexion exercises for some and extension exercises for others, apart from that there are a set of general conditioning ex and abdominal strengthening ex which is recommended for all patients. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain and inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. Dear Loose some weight. It will help you You should Have a Heamogram, sugar & urine Routine tests done before you start any treatment You can take multivitamin tablets & paracetamol tabs. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Dear lybrate user, backache after sitting for longer period suggestive of wither of 2 problem. 1- disc herniation which is more likely & 2- facetal arthritis which is less likely. Kindly get mri of lumbosacral spine done & consult a interventional pain specialist or orthopedician trained in spine. I'm sure your diagnosis will be confirmed as diagnosing back pain is not easy due to different small anatomical structure, hence advise will be to visit any of the above mentioned specialist. Once diagnosis is made it can be tested, else you'll keep on taking pain killers to suppress pain but disease can't be treated this way. Hope this will guide you better.

Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid, vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful. Use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1 tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that the patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that patient is going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days, please inform.

I have severe pain in my right elbow whenever it touches some object. It is there from last two months. At times it is negligible and at times severe. There has been no injury as such. The pain is like some wound .

Hi thanks for the query From the details you had given it could be most probably a tennis elbow. Initially i would like you to visit your doctor to prescribe some analgesics and gels and get some stretches to the elbow from the physiotherapist.

Please note the factors which trigger headache and try to avoid them. Also take Belladonna 30 - one dose for headache when required.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
