Hi I am 37 yrs old. In early age while playing I got hurt into my left leg's knee and below area. I had used different types of oil, tablets but no result. I feel my leg tired 7 paining.

This could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. You have to eat well before and after play. Before play you can do some nuts with oats porridge and after play fruit and eggs. If your game is intense then you can do enerzal in water while playing. Rest of the day your diet has to be clean. If you do junk foods and sugars and sweets then it will sap you of all your energy. Eat a lot of whole foods which are not packed or processed.

Is it necessary that exercise should be done on same time as we started once, what I am asking is that for eg: I started doing workout at 6: 00 am so it is necessary to do exercise on same time next day or not.

It is not necessary to do exercise at the same exact time. Morning to midnight, anytime is best time. Body will benefit with any exercise. However creating a disciplined daily morning routine of exercise helps you stay on track and it becomes a lifelong habit and it is easy to follow.

Firstly avoid sitting cross-legged and squatting, do hot fomentation if not having high blood sugar. Take medicines and apply local diclofenac gel. Walk with a tripod stick. If still pain persists then go for joint replacement. Do not delay if there is severe pain.

IBS is different from IBD inflammatory bowel disease, so you need to avoid glutans a type of protein in wheat .make a ratio of 40% protein, each 30% CHO and Fat and try to go down to 10% CHO carbohydrates /lot of fibers Take FLP probiotics Bee Propolis and all is going to be well.

You are apprx 15 kg underweight and there are a number of reasons at your age to be lean and weak at your age and some of the common one are------- 1. Please note the followings in respect to your queries: Banana and Milk -- Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals. Note – Don’t eat bananas when you are down with common cold. If you are suffering from any disease that needs to be treated. Find a great personal trainer and yoga instructor to keep you consistent. Take Five phos - 4 tablets twice daily.

Cold & cough often means low immunity. Start putting anu tailam 2-2 drops daily on nose. Start taking siva syrup 10 ml bd. This will improve the immune system & you will bot get frequent infections. Take 1 amla everyday.

For increasing weight and height best natural way is start doing Surya namaskar in the morning. Have a heavy breakfast eat lots of banana, sprouts, milk and milk products, almonds, eggs,walnut. The first thing you need to understand is that when you gain weight you’re either gaining muscle or you’re gaining fat. So the healthiest way to gain weight is by putting on lean muscle, which means while you’re going to be eating more, you need to be conscious of what you’re eating. Take foods high in protein, fat, and carbs (carbs on days you’re working out) and trying to stay away from foods high in sugar, especially added sugar. This being because a lot of the sugar we eat gets metabolized into fat, and high-blood sugar levels have been linked to metabolic syndrome, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, and even premature aging. Here are important foods for weight gain. Soya, lean meats, salmon, tuna, egg whites, sprouts, pulses, rajma, chole, tofu, beans, whole grains. Take expert advice. Thanku.

For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apettite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins.

Dear, you can easily get fitness and health by following simple and very important tips: 1. To get fitness, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. In morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. In lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. In evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. In night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper fitness, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. Do meditation daily to calm down your stress level. Do pranayam daily. You can take long and deep breaths atleast for 10 minutes in calm and peaceful environment. I assure you that you definitely get fitness by applying these tips and lifestyle. Be healthy.

Hi lybrate user, you mentioned having protrusion of intervertebral disc l3-4, it is important to understand the disease & prognosis first. Having protrusion is not a normal phenomenon, it occurs due to weakness of posterior part of disc (mainly annulus fibrosus, causing central gelly part nucleus to leak/ protrude backward) either due to trauma or degeneration of body due to age or lifestyle. Most of patients get relief from pain in 2-3 weeks time with conservative management (rest, medication, physio), but the main problem of disc bulge never gets healed unless some intervention is done inside. Your nucleus does not go back, neither your weak/ broken fibre of annulus gets repaired on its own. Your pain might have gone or reduced but let me assure you, your disc protrusion will remain there, till something is done (take mri after 6 months or 1 year & you will find protrusion still there),& if nothing is done you will be always prone to develop extrusion or further foraminal / canal stenosis. If you play sports make sure you take opinion from either orthopedician/ interventional pain specialist who can assess how likely your protrusion can aggravate depending upon current mri. We can not say with 100% surety batting, bowling or fielding will cause further aggravation, even sudden forward bending can aggravate it & even dive during cricket fielding might not cause aggravation. Advise would be take opinion on which activity can be easily done & which activity needs precaution. Try building back muscles, which will nit only protect spine but also distribute load from disc to other parts, mainly muscles. Hope it helps.
