I know I overeat at meals, but I can't help it. If I limit my portions, I'm hungry an hour later. How can I avoid overeating and have better control of my appetite? My stomach aches, thought it becomes fine in a day, but still it pains regularly, what to do?

Try and eat high protein first 50 to 100th gms. Eat slow eat salad first then dale then veg avoid fats fried take plenty of methi karela saragwa kankora. Eat small feeds at frequent intervals. In between only salad lemon lassi light minus cream no aerated drinks colas.

Dear try the tips for loosing weight: Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc.

hi due to night sutdy your pitta will get vetieted and it raised in blood so due to thist all digestive disorder is occure ...... if study is importatnt always remenbar about sleep and water intake method as give below first of all you should follow some basic thing 1.avoid=hot and cold at time 2.less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3.dont drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml sleep has some type i tell you 2 type 1.beta sleep = in which we are in dream if you take this kind of sleep it will not good even you take 8 hr 2.delta sleep=in which we sleep very deeply if you take this kind of sleep then 4 hr is also sufficient 3.if genarly you ask me we should 3 hr or 6 hrs or 9 hrs because our sleep cycle is complete in every 3 hrs so you should tkae sleep ik this then only you feel energetic ...

Avoid fatty and spices food and skip lunch with mild breakfast and dinner take warm water with lemon and honey 2 glass daily empty stomach walk for at least 4-5 km daily with mild exercise and diet control avoid non veg and fast food do exercise and take plenty of water and papaya every day.

For increasing your weight Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification - combination of nutritional plan, stress management, exercise prescription for your current fitness level and sleep improvement, (if required). 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. My best wishes.

Hye, thanks for the query. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habbit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apettite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins. If you want ayurvedic medicine for weight gain, then consult me privately. There is a very good ayurvedic medicine for weight gain, that increases 3 to 8 kg weight in the 1st month itself, without any side effects.

Because of very busy schedule eating breakfast at 6 AM. & dinner at 9 PM. No lunch. Taking coffee 3-4 time. No smoking &no alcohol. Please advice is their any issue in my schdule

Your eating schedule is an unhealthy one. Irregular eating habits affect the body metabolism, making the body at risk to various illnesses like high BP, diabetes, obesity, gastric problems etc. The human body works smoothly with regularity & irregular eating patterns may disrupt its normal rhythm. When you eat at irregular times, the body goes to a stress mode. Do not skip meals; eat heavy breakfast, lighter lunch & very light & early dinner. Sometimes skipping meals & sometimes overeating is not good for health. You eating breakfast at 6 am & dinner at 9pm are long gaps between meals. Do not give such long gaps. Besides the above three main meals, eat small healthy food in between like fruits, salads, fruit juices, soup etc. Avoid junk food & drink plenty of water. Make a routine for your meal timings as comfortable to you, & try to stick to the meal timings. Have the major meals at the gap of 5-6 hours. In between, at the gap of 2-3 hours take some small snacks in the daytime, & avoid eating more at night time. Take coffee twice only. To stay healthy it is very necessary that you eat a balanced diet to nourish the body. To achieve a balanced diet, include a wide variety of food from the following food groups, in-order to provide all essential nutrients to the body: 1. Protein containing food like poultry, eggs, sea food, nuts, beans including soybean 2.Diary food like milk, cheese, yogurt; these are rich in calcium, vitamin D & potassium. They also contain protein. 3. Variety of fruits & vegetables. These are low in calories & rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. 4. The grain group, which consist of breads & cereals like rice, oats etc. These are high in fiber, protein & other essential nutrients. 5. Oils including vegetable oils, low fat oils, mayonnaise etc. Also make required changes in diet according to age, health status, body needs, activity level, climatic & seasonal changes etc. A properly balanced diet will not only keep you healthy, but will lower the risk of various illnesses like obesity, diabetes, hypertension etc.

What to Do When You Have an Abnormal Pap Smear?

A Pap smear test helps in detecting the signs and onset of cervical cancer. This test helps in pointing at the presence of any suspicious cells that may require further examination and testing with the help of an oncologist. You will enjoy a negative result in case you have a normal reading during the examination process and no further treatment will be required. Yet, you will be asked to go through the test on a regular basis. But here is what happens if you have an abnormal reading.

  1. Positive Result: You are said to have a positive result, if you have any unusual or abnormal cells were found during this Pap Smear Test. While this may not necessarily mean that you have cervical cancer, it can show what kind of abnormal cells are present in this area of your body. The doctor will check for the following things after a positive result.
  2. ASCUS: This is also known as Atypical Squamous Cells of Undetermined Significance. This is a liquid based test that will seek to study the thin and flat squamous cells that may be found on the surface of a perfectly healthy and normal cervix. This test will check for the presence of any virus that may lead to the development of cancer and to determine the level of risk to the patient. Further, if there is any high risk virus, then further treatment and testing will be required.
  3. Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion: When some of the cells that have been extracted during the Pap Smear test turn out to be precancerous, then they are Squamous Intraepithelial Lesions. In many cases, it takes a few years for these lesions to turn cancerous especially when the changes are low grade, which pertains to the size, shape and other features of the same. If a high grade lesion is detected, then diagnostic testing in the form of imaging tests may be required.
  4. Atypical Glandular Cells: These mucus producing cells grow within the cervical opening and usually spread into the uterus as well. While they may appear abnormal, it is difficult to tell whether or not they are cancerous, especially in the early stages.
  5. Squamous Cell Cancer: This is an almost certain reading of the growth of cancer in the cervix. When a reading from the Pap Smear includes such a finding, the doctor will recommend immediate evaluation.
  6. Colposcopy: Once you have had a positive reading with any of the above findings, the doctor will perform this procedure with sample tissue extracted during a biopsy. This will be done with the use of a special magnifying tool known as a colposcope to examine the cervix, vagina and vulva tissues.

Eating good protein and fruits helps with increasing weight. Have a fruit with every meal and eat an egg daily. Drink atleast 2 cups of milk and take 1 cup curd daily. Eat non veg weekly twice. Focus on eating lean cuts. Nuts and seeds also help to improve weight. Soak few almonds and walnuts and have them as first thing in the morning. Focus on increasing your food intake. Make sure your source of food is clean and nutritious. Do not opt for high cheesy and deep fried food to increase weight. Eating healthy and nutritious food is key to healthy weight management. Lybrate-user, laser is used when there is proliferative retinopathy and bleeding (pre- retinal, or vitreal). Because those newly generated vessels which bleed have to be burned. Once that is done, if needed other treatments also can be used like intra vitreal injections. The treating ophthalmologist is the best judge for treatment choice. It better to follow that, as this is a sight threatening condition. Thanks for the question.
