I am 30 years women, and 4 years of married life. In the month of march, 2017 I got 2 periods on 16th and 26th mar. I consult gynaecologist for the same, she suggested me to go for pregnancy test,(result: Negative) so then she suggested me to gofor scan. In that they found i'm having stones in my kidney. 16 mm in my right and 8 mm in my left amd 2 stones of 5&6 mm in both the kidneys. She referred me to urology doctor for further case. I went and took exray and urologist suggested me to do surgery. This process took me mid of april as I consulted 2-3 doctors for reference. We already pre planned to go to out of country for a week in the end of april. So we decided to postpone my surgery for may 2nd week. After we came back to india, we came to know that i'm pregnant. Now exactly 2 months on 19th may 2017. Rushed to gynaecologist again, she suggested me not to worry becoz as I do not have kidney pain. As its your first pregnancy, she told me to be happy. But urologist is saying better to go for surgery may be in the process you will mis carriage your pregnancy. I do not want to happen like that. Not having proper sleep becoz of this problem. Please suggest me with a good solution that I shouldn't loose my pregnancy please.

Excessive physical work should be avoided and passive smoking and polluted air should be avoided. Diet should be a balanced one which includes carbohydrates, protiens and fat. One should take foods high in iron and calcium. Excess salt is to be avoided. A slow walk in an unpolluted place can be done if your gynec has no problems with it.

You Need To Make These 6 Lifestyle Changes Now!

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
You Need To Make These 6 Lifestyle Changes Now!
It is not only important to monitor what you eat or drink but also how you time it all. If we discipline ourselves towards a better lifestyle, maintaining good health won’t be such a task. It is World Health Day today. It is a good reason to take complete responsibility of inculcating healthy habits into our life.

Follow these 6 changes to your lifestyle to feel better and live healthier-

1) King’s Breakfast: Most people don't feel like eating much at breakfast, esp. the late nighters. However, ignoring or skipping breakfast sets a bad rhythm for the rest of your day and weakens your immune system. Having breakfast is a must and the ideal breakfast is one which is low in carbs and has a good portion of protein. For people short on time, a seasonal fruit with raw nuts and a little yogurt can be a good option.

2) Water Intake: Drinking inadequate water causes dehydration inside and can lead to a number of issues. Most common issues are headaches, dry skin, impaired sleep, joint problems, poor concentration as well as digestive disorders. Best way to address this problem is to keep water handy wherever you are. Try to drink about two litres of water each day. More, if its hot or after workouts.

3) Sleep Well: Sleep time is rejuvenation for your body. If you don't get enough sleep, you will deprive your body the time to recover and tackle whatever the next day has to offer. Try to be in bed earlier and get atleast 7 hours of sleep.

4) Physical Training: A good mix of aerobic as well as resistance training is quite important for your health. You feel more energetic and productive when you physically work out. Folks who exercise regularly are generally happier than those who are inactive.

5) Stress Releasing: Stress is a major factor in inducing various forms of illnesses. Stress must not accumulate. Try to give yourself some time every week to do things that you enjoy – it can be reading or meditating or enjoying the outdoors.

6) No Self Medication: Often one wrong medicine causes much more harm than any medicine at the right time, does good. Try to avoid popping pills without doctor’s recommendation. Many side effects or reactions to an existing medication or condition can lead to uncalled for problems and complications later. Don’t rely on sources like chemist or a relative to guide you, they might not look at the right details due to lack of knowledge. Say no to self medication.

Theres no way to find out except a dna test or your aunty can tell what day if her menstrual cycle she had sex with you or her husband. Its not advisable to have unprotected sex with a partner who is sexually active with some other partner as well. This might lead to sexually transmitted disease as well as unwanted pregnancy.

A small lump in rt. Breast of my sister (fibroderma) light pain on it. After biopsy doctor says invasive ductal carcinoma pl. Tell me what is the treatment procedure &how much money require.

MD - Radiation Oncology, MBBS
Oncologist,
Dear, the first step is to evaluate if the cancer has spread from the breast to other areas. This will require certain tests including mammography of the other breast, chest xray, ultrasound scan of the abdomen and some blood tests. Treatment will include surgery to remove the cancer, radiation therapy, chemotherapy (injections) and hormonal therapy (tablets). Please visit a cancer institute as suggested as soon as possible. There are government schemes that will help eligible people to get free treatment in any hospital. I would advise you to enquire about that.

I am just married. In the age of 18. My hubby wants sex. I am still virgin. When I shall be penetrated. Am I feel so pain or not. If so. What will I do?

I am just married. In the age of 18. My hubby wants sex. I am still virgin. When I shall be penetrated. Am I feel so ...
Since you are just married, your anxiety is understandable. You may plan on having your first penetrative sex on a day/night when both of you are relaxed and have enough privacy. Buy a lubricant gelly like k y gelly because for the first few times penetration may be slightly painful. Have a good amount of foreplay and make sure you are feeling wet enough in your vagina. Then when he is wanting to enter, apply lots k y gelly on your vaginal opening even inside with your fingers. Apply the same on his penis on the tip as well a few inches on the shaft and then guide him gently inside you. You can reapply k y gelly any time you want during the sex act if you find burning or pain. I suppose that should get you past the initial hurdles.

Risk of pregnancy is less since you had sex during the safe period which is in the last week of menstrual cycle. However do a pregnancy test 10 days after the missed period and consult doctor for advice.

Benefits Of Wheatgrass

Treat Skin Diseases

Wheatgrass can be used to cure skin diseases such as eczema and psoriasis. There are several ways you can go about using wheatgrass for your skin. Pour wheatgrass juice into a few holes in an ice cube tray, freeze, and rub a cube across blemishes on your skin as well as on any scars or damaged areas. This goes hand-in-hand with wheatgrass ability to help you lose weight, but it is also critical in your efforts to avoid unhealthy, sugar and fat-laden snacks. Take a wheatgrass supplement (or juice shot) each morning on an empty stomach and it may prevent overeating throughout the day.

5. Detox Your Cells

If you think a regular juice cleanse is the pinnacle of detoxification, you're wrong. Wheatgrass may appear like a simple, dull grass, but it is actually among the most powerful natural detoxifying agents due to its high alkalinity. In fact, it has been said that just about one ounce of wheatgrass is equivalent in nutritional value to more than 2 pounds of leafy green vegetables. Talk about an alkaline overload!

What happens to your Body when you Quit Sugar

MD - Diabetology, Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), MBBS
Endocrinologist, Kochi
What happens to your Body when you Quit Sugar

On an average a person consumes nearly 800 calories daily from added sugar. This does not just include natural sugar found in fruits or milk but the processed sweet sugar as well, that is added to cakes, tea, coffee, confectionery and even pasta sauce and salad dressing. However, it is possible that you can limit your sugar intake or even quit it to get some truly amazing benefits.

When you take this hard decision, you may experience withdrawal symptoms such as mild depression, anxiety or restlessness. But if you remain adamant and continue with your decision, your body will soon show some incredible results that you couldn't have imagined.

Here are a few of them:

1. Your heart will beat happily

Sugar raises insulin levels that activate the responses of sympathetic nervous system thereby elevating your bp and heart rate. When you cut down on sugar, your ldl cholesterol will decrease by 10% and triglycerides will reduce by 20-30%. And your risk of heart attack will reduce manifold.

2. Your weight fluctuations will be gone

With the exception of fruits, sugar is mostly present in processed or high-carb foods that contain loads of other unwanted constituents like fat etc.

So when you quit sugar, your body has to no longer worry about those unwelcome calories and your weight will stop moving right and left across the scale.

3. Digestion will become efficient

When you quit sugar, the digestive system becomes more efficient. Since your stomach and intestines have to no longer worry about those difficult to digest processed foods, their abilities and functioning improves. Even your colon begins to work better, may be you take more trips to the restroom, so things get even more on track.

4. No more acne troubles

Sugar triggers acne troubles. When you cut it down, you will no longer be troubled by those zits that dampen your looks. Your skin will actually clear up, cracks will disappear and you will get a healthier skin.

5. You will no longer have sweet craving

With sugar, there is a huge negative, as you enjoy sweets, you crave for more sweets. But if you quit sugar, slowly you will begin to avoid foods that contain sugar and as a result, whenever you will eat anything that has sugar, it will taste over sweet and you will not be able to have large portions. This means no more cravings for sugar!
