My numbers in my eyes are -5.50 and -5.75. So what should I do to maintain my eyes. Is this condition really serious?

My numbers in my eyes are -5.50 and -5.75.
So what should I do to maintain my eyes. Is this condition really serious?
Hello, follow the below tips to strengthen your eye muscles. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

Hye. Thank you for your query. Well, actually chicken skin does not add so much calories to your total chicken calories. Also chicken cooked with skin intact actually helps lesser absorption of cooking oil and it's better to cook chicken in its own fat rather than add too much excess fats. Also most recipes call for skin to be intact hence restaurants usually do not desk in the chicken. Actually the chicken skin is not really the concern but it's the batter frying, deep frying and oily dishes that cause the increase in the calorific value of the dish.

I am 19 years and my present weight is 65 and height is5. 0. Is it correct weight for my height. please reply thank u...
Hi, as per your age and height, you should have weight between 47 kgs to 55 kgs. You are over weight. Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: management: 1: drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: enjoy your favorite foods. 4: have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous). Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: don't skip meals. When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! medication: take homoeopathic medicine - schwabe's phytolacca berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. (slow and steady weight loss is good. As we all know when you lose weight fast, it seems to jump right back on, whereas when you lose weight steadily over time because of changes to your diet and balancing your hormones out it tends to stay off.) all the best!

I have got pain in my shoulder for which I could not throw anything. What should I do?
Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.

Respected sir/madam, I am 24 years old student. I do not have study problem. I think I am suffering by anxiety disord...
The reason the improvement did not stay is because sertraline should not have been stopped in one month. It should have been continued for five months. This situation is similar to fracture followed by plaster of leg. In two weeks pain reduces, but if you remove plaster and start walking, it will re-fracture. So one must keep plaster for 6 weeks. Once plaster is removed graded physical exercise will strengthen bones and muscles. Similarly, once sertraline is taken for the said duration psychotherapy or specialized counselling may be done to strengthen the mind. Hope that helps!

My hair is falling from 2 to 3 years. What should I do and which medicine should I take.

My hair is falling from 2 to 3 years. What should I do and which medicine should I take.
Hair styling is essential when you step out. You need to look good at all times in today’s world. But it is necessary that you submit your hair to as less of heat treatment as you can! The heat tends to dry the shaft out making it dry and frizzy which over a period of causes the hair to brittle. The ultimate result will be hair fall.

How to increase my hand and neck brightness ?

BHMS
Homeopath,
How to increase my hand and neck brightness ?
Hello, Start taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 ? a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire hand and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this daily or every other day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your hand and neck, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Make a paste of 'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk which is very effective.

Yes semen contains are good and healthy but semen can contain several viruses that may be transmitted via bodily fluids from an infected man. Some common examples of such sexually transmitted infections (stis) are hiv (human immunodeficiency virus), hepatitis b and c, herpes, and chlamydia. The risk of transmitting an sti through oral sex is higher if there is an open sore in the mouth or if a person has gingivitis and bleeding gums. According to the centers for disease control and prevention, hepatitis b can also be transmitted through contact with infected semen if an open sore is present in the mouth.

Dear lybrate-user, fatty liver is almost an integral part of type 2 diabetes. Excess sugar in diabetes gets converted into triglycerides and cholesterol which get deposited in liver and hence the fatty liver. Best treatment for fatty liver in diabetes is weight loss and good sugar control. Please don't give up. Visit a diabetologist near to you and work hard to get sugars under control. All will be better.

I am getting very angry on even small things happening around. I want to manage my anger and stress. Can someone please help me with these issues?

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
The way to manage anger is to express it all the time and every time. The only problem is that you must express it appropriately. None of the feelings are to be controlled. The way you express them is the issue. Now anger is pure energy and people mistakenly think that they must express anger violently, or aggressively, or they can damage something, or throw a fit, or kill, or hurt, or withdraw, etc. These expressions can be followed, if they are appropriate to the situation. You can instead simply talk about the feeling, write about it and share it with someone who understands, scream and shout in a situation which warrants it and so on. When the expression is most suitable, the repercussions are minimized and the other person tends to understand and is willing to apologize and sort out the matter. Many of us are inclined to worry about the consequences of expressing anger and use fear to suppress the legitimate expression. You can exorcise your anger out of your system by exercising, but it is the energy that is expended not the feeling. Unexpressed feelings will hurt you back by clinging on to a favorite organ and troubling it enough to cause it to malfunction or lead to its total dysfunction. You can also hand over the feeling to God, if you are a spiritual person, and very effectively too. Now, it is also wise to find out why you get angry: is it too fast, is it too high, or is it without provocation? These will help you to determine whether it is worth getting angry at all, in some instances. These can be discussed with a counselor, in case you are still having problems.
