4 Ways in which sleep deprivation can affect your sex life

Sleep deprivation can lead to mood swings, along with decreased levels of concentration; and a person lacking sleep may easily feel annoyed or irritated. Apart from affecting your memory, health and looks, sleep deprivation can lead to decreased sex function as well. People who have trouble sleeping have a difficult time coping with their relationships as with almost all aspects of their lives.

The following are some of the ways chronic sleep disorders may affect your sex life.

1) Reduced energy levels - Lack of sleep can lead to reduced levels of energy and fatigue. Depletion of energy, in turn, can lead to perpetual tiredness, which may ultimately cause a person to have lower libido and interest in sexual intercourse. Some men suffer from sleep apnea, which is a respiratory problem that interrupts sleep. A 2002 study showed that sleep apnea causes lower levels of testosterone in men.

2) Mood swings - Sleep disorders often lead to perpetual mood swings. It can make a person grumpy and quarrelsome. If you're sleep deprived, you may get very agitated even by minor stress. This can hurt interaction between you and your partner, leading to a disruptive relationship in the bedroom.

3) Decreased social activity - Lack of sleep may decrease your likelihood of engaging in social interactions. People with sleep disorders usually avoid social engagements, as they believe it may disrupt their sleep patterns. They rearrange their sleeping patterns by avoiding social interactions, which leaves them with lesser opportunities to meet with people of the opposite sex, thereby affecting their sex lives.

4) Anxiety - Increased levels of anxiety and stress attributed to lack of sleep can lead to loss of sexual function and even sexual disorders at times. Lack of sleep generally decreases your experience of positive emotions, which may lead to pessimism and subsequently lack of sexual interest.

I am suffering from high heel pain. Can't stand more than 5 mins properly. My stomach is full. Feeling like acidity. My diet is getting low. Uric acid is high. Appx above 8. Why In my uric body is high? I have heard somewhere that high uric acid lead to failure kidney function. Is it true? Right now am having daily" allopurinol tables" Zyloric 100 mg. Hello, you need to take a proper balanced diet in high uric acid. Pls avoid all the food that contains purines. Avoid high protein food, avoid chicken but you can take eggs. You can take soya milk and tofu. Avoid paneer. You can take products made from besan you can consult us for proper diet consultation for uric acid.

Strict control of diabetes is a must. Premature ejaculation is very common and is usually not associated with any disease but may be due to anxiety, sometimes however there may be problem with prostate gland and thyroid hormone. You can learn to control pe by doing this exercise- pull your muscles that you pull at the end of urination for few seconds then release repeat this several times daily. Another is stop-start technique: when you feel that you are going to ejaculate stop the sexual stimulation and divert your mind, the penis will relax, after sometime start the stimulation again and repeat the procedure. Over few months you will gradually increase your ejaculation time. Most often it is a chronic problem, you have to take medicines in between and period off medicine. I cannot comment on malebooster because it is not listed in pharmacology.

It may be possible that your previous filling is dislodged and there is decay in that tooth. Go to your dentist he will take a xray and may suggest a root canal treatment of that particular tooth.

Hi, daily morning walk pr jay aur exercise kre. Din m 8 se 10 glass pani pina chaiye. Junk food and oily food ko avoid krna chaiye. Fruits and vegetables ko jayda khana chaiye. Daily one cup milk le. Khane k pahle salad le. Hr 2 ghante m kuch na kuch khate rahe. Overeating nhi krna chaiye.

Calories don't determine your health. Eat with awareness and moderation. You can't target a particular part of body. You need to achieve overall fat loss or toning to reduce tummy or thigh fat. Eat small frequent meals. Avoid junk foods. Exercise at least thrice a week. Lastly, be committed. It's a lifestyle change that makes the difference not a one week or month change.

You need to check if there is any fine hair line fracture or not. Plain xray can show that. Usually for finger injuries its important to rest the finger by strapping it to the adjacent finger for few weeks depending on the extent of injury and then start stretching exercises and strengthening for the same. Use ice or mild heat over painful area to reduce pain. Good luck for speedy recovery.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like milk powder, soya protein for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. I am 36 years old man. For quite some time I have been suffering from stomach unrest due to which I can't be able to do my work properly even can't go for exercise in the morning. I feel like gas, constipation and indigestion. Feel uneasy. Feel heavy after meal. Though I take regular meal but can't gain any weight. Am weigh only 62 KGS but according to doc I should be of 70. Hello- Digestion problem in late thirties are due to improper food habit. Try this ayurvedic treatment- 1)Abhyaristha 2 tsp twice daily after meals. 2)Eranda bhrista haritaki tablet 1 twice before meals. 3)Avoid excess water intake(more than 2 ltrs a day) especially empty stomach. as it is the main reason for bloating in many peoples. 4)Take your meals in fixed timings and avoid heavy diet along with the treatment.
