I have Grade 3 acl tear in knee joint moreover there is evidence of tear in posterior horns of medial and lateral menisci reaching the inferior articular surface if i'll posture my surgery for 1 month does it further effect my knee In what time i" ll go for my surgery.

ACL surgery is best done 6 weeks post injury. The longer you leave it the extent of meniscal tear can increase.

I work in DHBVN (Electricity Board) and fall from pole 3 months ago I have done MRI And consult the orthopedic doctor He said disc diffuse L4 L5 There is severe pain continue whole day from 4 to 5 days in left leg and hip bone If I take medicine there is some pain relief but not properly. • Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Most probably you are suffering from oa of knee. Knee surgery-total knee replacement (tkr) is quite safe & gives uniformly good results. Surgery should be done when patient is still active & will be able to take benefit of surgery. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Kindly show me x- rays before a final decision can be taken. You will be thoroughly investigated before surgery is under taken. Risk in surgery is less than the risk in crossing road. I was doing exercise ie. Pushup and fumble exercise at my house without any trainer wrongly 1 year ago. My right side body part is some downside .Mychest ,shoulder, upper part of shoulder and some part near neck is different from left side of my body. My right shoulder is more bigger than left shoulder. My body shape is distorted. My both chest are not in same shape left chest is up and right chest shape is some down side. By seeing this anyone not see difference but I feel from inside my one shoulder and right chest is some on downside and left chest is on up side and I am very depressed and sad from 1 year and not doing any single exercise because when I so any exercise then this shape of my body become more distorted than before. I am afraid of going to hospital also and gym also .please sir help me please.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

In a continues driving period you must take a rest for 5-15min in every 2hour. And do spinal extension exercises there is a back support pillow. Available for drivers you can use it while driving.

I suggest you to keep ice over the area for 10 -15 minutes thrice a day and also give proper stretch to area .you can also use elbow braces which will help you to reduce pain .avoid lifting weights above your shoulder level.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. We remain seated most of the time and stand for very short periods of time. Unfortunately walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. It may be ligament or meniscus tear. Get MRI of your knee. It should be best quality MRI with 3 tesla machine.

I am now 73 years and 7 months old. And suffering from severe Knee joint pain (Osteo Arthritis). I am unwilling to undergo knee replacement. Please suggest me for any other treatment other than surgery. I am confined to home as I am not able to walk due to severe severe pain on my left knee joint.
