HI Lybrate USER…. 1) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 2) sleep upto 10-10.30 pm…. 3) avoid coffee and tea…. A) Eat 30-40 black currants and 1 tsf of jiggery during meals…B) Take 200 ml of fresh butter milk with pinch of saindhav lavan after meals…C) take 30 ml of aamla juice along with 15 ml of honey I morning on empty stomach…do all these things for 15 days…gives you good result…THANKS.

How to improve bones strength by daily diet. please suggest?
Bone health can be improve by taking proper calcium in your diet so take good amount of calcium by including milk and all milk products like curd, yogurt, buttermilk, paneer etc and take direct sunlight daily for 20 minutes for vitamin d which is needed for the absorption of calcium in the body.

Yeah sitting continuously for longer duration is main cause for backache. Do not sit in chair for longer times. Move around for few mins and again start working.

If eating more fills you up too much, try drinking your calories. Milk, 100-percent fruit juice and homemade smoothies add calories between meals. Whiz up a high-calorie smoothie containing a whole banana, frozen yogurt, milk, juice and nut butter or flax seed in your own kitchen. Include dried milk powder or protein powder to boost the calorie count of plain milk. Avoid drinking copious amounts of beverages with meals, though. The liquid creates temporary feelings of fullness in your stomach so you may eat less solid, calorie-containing food. Save drinks for before, after and between meals.

Maybe you have polymorphous light eruption or solar urticarial. It's hard to tell without seeing it. What you can do is use a broad spectrum sunscreen with spf30, both indoors and outdoors. Use it before and after a swim. Make sure you apply it even when you r at home or in the car. After every three hours, it has to be reapplied.

Apply bhringraj oil on your scalp then give hot water fomentation. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Take lots of proteins like soyabean. Egg white. Etc. Avoid tea. Coffee. Spicy food. Fermented food. Junk food. Apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp. Do pranayama early morning.

Hello, apply homoeopathic - thiosinaminum q few drops mixed in a glycerin solution on scars that are visible (as it is less greasy, so is more easily absorbed into the skin. Also take causticum 200 orally thrice daily for 3 weeks. Revert me back after 3 weeks for further guidance.

I am 38 years old male having a small bulge in my l5s1 in mri, on 15th march 2015, pain started in my lower back and after rest and few back exercises as suggested by doc, pain almost gone but sitting was uncomfortable. Again after 1 month, when I was brushing my teeth a swear pain started with cough and I fainted for 2 mins due to pain, again I am taking rest and taking swd and tens therapy from pt, again pain is 95 % gone, my questions are, what is the best treatment for this prob do I need to consult a neuro instead of ortho can I face the same problem in future due to coughing or sneezing should I resume my job or I need more rest how this problem is going to effect my married life kindly suggest

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned that there is only a small bulge at l5/s1 level in your mri scan which can be found as many as 70% of the individuals. If your pain is only localized to your lower back region with no other leg symptoms like pain, numbness etc, then I would advise you not to worry too much. It is advisable for you to build up your muscles by doing intensive exercises with a trained physical therapist. Take adequate calcium and vitamin d as per your requirement. I don't see any reason for a neuro consultation right now because treatment will remain the same. You can have episodes of back pain in future as well but if you maintain your back muscles, observe good posture and avoid few things like bending forwards acutely, lifting very heavy weights etc, you should lead a pretty normal life. You can also attach your mri images and reports so that I can see and advise accordingly. Also if possible, please get x ray ls spine (ap & lateral- flexion/extension views) so that I can see whether there is any instability or not? do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Yes. Apply oil regularly .Do it correct: Shampoo Correctly Comb your hair thoroughly before washing. The quantity of shampoo to be used depends on the length of your hair. Be careful not to use too much. Put shampoo onto your palms, and rub them together to whip up the foam. Then apply the shampoo to the roots of your hair. Use massaging movements, making sure to only touch the skin with your soft fingertips (and not with your nails, to avoid causing scratches). Be gentle: Avoid hot water Hair is a delicate structure. Do not use excessively hot water to wash your hair. Hot water strips your hair of colour and activates the oil-producing glands. Use lukewarm or tepid water which will help dilute the oil glands’ secretions, remove dirt, and improve blood circulation. It’s best to end with a cool or cold shower. Such a finish will stimulate circulation at the hair roots and make your hair look smooth and shiny. Be tender: Avoid brushing wet hair  Wet hair is very weak. Brushing wet hair increases chances of hair breakage. If you must comb wet hair, use a very wide-toothed comb. Use your fingers to undo tangles, not a comb or brush.

Hello, For oily skin, use cleanser, toner, moisturizer and sunscreen as per your skin type. Take Schwabe's Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice daily and Kali Brom. 30/ thrice daily. Use Schwabe's Akne Sor soap and apply Top-Berberis cream on the acne.

If I am absent for light solid food i.e. Idle/chapathi/ sorghum in the evenings, somehow better but getting weakness in the next day morning. If I have taken little quantity of fruits also getting weak in the morning. If I haven taken little solid foot it is very much difficult to digest. Due to this I confused.
