There are many causes of headache. i.e. fever, acidity, gastritis, stress, injury . take tab. Dolo 650 mg thrice a day after meal, tab. Pan 40 mg once a day for 3 days . if not ok then checkup b.p. , cbc, blood sugar, and consult again. Thanks.

Dear sir/ma'am, v r having a 6 1/2 years old kid. She is studying 2nd standard. She often suffers from severe cold, cough and high fever (103'F and above. She gets almost once or twice in a month. V hv consulted so many doctors. But there is no change in the situation. Even now also she is suffering from the same fever nd cold. Pls. Pls suggest me what to do? Hi 1) take 10 ml of fresh lemon juice, ginger juice and 1 tsf of jaggery along with 60 ml of water early in the morning on empty stomach and after meals, do this for 30 days, it gives you good result, thanks.

One month back my father having chest pain and fever. Blood samples analysed and Echo carried out. In that heavy pericardial effusion seen. For next 3 days water evacuated from chest and around 1000 ml water evacuate. Its sample analysed and ADA 63 reported in forms of tuberculosis and no malignant cells seen. CT scan also carried out. And tuberculosis treatment started. In start, His blood sugar increased to 450 and now its normal to 150-200. At present he is taking R Cinex and Benadon tablets. I want to know if this treatment is OK or should I walk to other doctors. I can share all reports if you need. Is there any chances of any other disease apart from tuberculosis. At present his right hand paining very much and its almost one month but he is still feeling weak.

Thanks for the question in our country tuberculosis is a common cause for pericardial effusion. As per the reports that you have provided your father's pericardiocentesis was done and fluid analysis was suggestive of tuberculosis (with high ada). The treatment he has been put on is fine. Presently, he is on rcinex and benadon, hence I presume that his initial intensive phase of anti-tubercular drugs is over. The management duration is usually 6-9 months in respondent cases. You can get a check xray chest done to note for the current status. I would advise you to continue with your present doctor since the treatment provided is as per guidelines of management. Regards.

Juice of potato for controlling hair fall lack of vitamins and minerals can cause dry and brittle hairs which can trigger hair fall. Potato can be a good remedy to control hair fall in this case. Potato is rich in vitamin b6, vitamin c, manganese, phosphorus, copper and niacin which can be helpful for boosting hair growth. Crush some cleaned potato and squeeze out the juice. Now apply this fresh juice directly onto your scalp and hairs. Leave on for 30 minutes to an hour but do not let the pack get dry. Wash off with plenty of water. Grape seed oil controls hair loss grape seed oil is an effective natural hair conditioner and moisturizer. It can address hair issues like hair loss, dandruff and weakened hair. You can use grapeseed oil as a regular hair care product to get healthy hairs. Grape seed oil contains anti-oxidants that might be effective to control dht production at the hair roots, which happens to be one of the main reasons of hair fall. Simply massage your scalp and hairs regularly at night with this oil, let it seep in overnight and wash off with a cleanser in the morning. Safflower oil for hair fall for preventing hair loss and baldness safflower oil can be used. This oil is rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids which are vital for healthy hairs. You can find two varieties of safflower oils in the market, both of which can be used for hair care. Safflower oil is helpful for permed, colored and dry hair. Use safflower oil for massaging the scalp. Leave it on overnight and rinse in the next morning. Use it every alternate day to get healthy hair.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine weisbaden 30 (4 drops in little amount of water) twice a day for 15 days and revert. Apply jobarandi hair oil. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends.

Hi, The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months. Revert. Yogasanas for gaining weight: Bhujangasana: Lie flat on your stomach. Place your hands on the side and ensure that your toes touch each other. Then, move your hands to the front, making sure they are at the shoulder level, and place your palms on the floor. Now, placing your body’s weight on your palms, slowly raise your head and trunk. Note that your arms should be bent at your elbows at this stage. You need to arch your neck backwards, in an attempt to replicate the cobra with the raised hood. Hold the asana for a few seconds, while breathing normally. Feel your stomach pressed against the floor. With practice, you should be able to hold the asana for up to two minutes. To release the pose, slowly bring your hands back to the sides, and rest your head on the ground by bringing your forehead in contact with the floor. Place your hands under your head. Then, slowly rest your head on one side and breathe. Repeat this pose thrice for best results. Contraindications: This exercise should be avoided if you suffer from hernia or have had an abdominal surgery recently. This asana should be avoided at all costs if you are pregnant or have a back injury. 2. Vajrasana: Kneel on your knees, making sure your calf muscles lie close together, and your big toes are crossed. Lower your upper body, placing your buttocks on your heels and your thighs on your calf muscles. Place your hands on your knees and ensure your upper body is erect. Breathe normally. Concentrate on how you inhale and exhale. You can close your eyes while you try to calm your mind. It might be a good idea to hold this position for about five to 10 minutes. If you feel a strain or pain in your legs, release the position. With regular practice, you could actually meditate in this position for as long as 30 minutes. Contraindications: It is best to avoid this asana if you are suffering from a knee problem or have undergone a knee surgery recently. If you are pregnant, make sure you keep your knees apart when you assume this position, or you might end up adding stress and pressure on your abdomen. For gaining height: As height can be gained till 21 yrs. Of age in males, so start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - Bakson's Hite-Aid and Five Phos. - both thrice daily and Thuja 1M/ one dose once a week - take them for 4 months. Management: Consume a balanced diet. A person will look a lot shorter when having a plump body. Not only that, being fit by eating right will make you taller and feel better! Eat plenty of lean protein. Lean protein, such as white poultry meat, fish, soy, and dairy, helps promote muscle growth and healthy bones. Simple carbohydrates such as pizza, cakes, sweets, and soda, are the stuff to stay away from. Eat plenty of calcium. Calcium, found in leafy green vegetables such as spinach and kale, and in dairy (yogurt and milk), helps promote healthy bones. Get enough zinc. Studies, although they have been inconclusive so far, point to a possible link between zinc deficiencies and stunted growth in boys. Good sources of zinc include oysters, wheat germ, pumpkin and squash seeds, lamb, peanuts, and crab. Get enough vitamin D. Vitamin D promotes bone and muscle growth in children, and a deficiency has been shown to stunt growth and cause weight gain in teenage girls. Vitamin D can be found in fish, alfalfa, or mushrooms commonly. 60% to 80% of your height is determined by genes! Apart from these: -Exercise throughout the teen years and in puberty. Get out and about and work your muscles for at least 30 minutes each day. Join a gym, join a sports team, if nothing else, walk around. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. -Sleeping is the time when your body grows, Get between 9 and 11 hours of sleep per night if you're a preteen or still younger than 20. -Avoid any bad habit like smoking which affects the height, also avoid anabolic steroids which inhibit bone growth in young children and teens. -Always stand straight instead of hunching your back. (You can probably increase your height by a few inches with diet and lifestyle changes, especially if you are still in your teens or even your early 20s (for boys).)

If not trying for pregnancy advisable to use condom and also lubrication jelly like lubic or lignocaine jelly. Persistent pain called dusparunia can be due to local infections of even conditions like endometriosis so please consult a doctor.

Osteoporosis is a condition in which bones loose their minerals along with other constiuents so that they become very weak & fragile. They can break with very minor injury. Osteoarthritis is a condition of joints in which usually due to aging process, they undergo wear & tear & become painful.

Dear, These are the causes of acne: • excessive sebum production (sebum is oily secretion from the gland). • Due to hormonal imbalance. These are the methods & instructions to avoid acne: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Mujhe aksar headache rehti hai. Kabhi thodi rest ya sleep Karen par thik ho jati hai. To kabhi bahut tej dard hota hai. Itna dard hota hai ki kuch dekhne ka man nahi Marta light bhi chubti hai awaj bhi sir dard badhata hai. Bina dawai thik nahi hota. Jada headache mai vomit jaisa feel hota hai. Jada vision wala kam karne par bhi headache hota hai like tv or phn use karne par is it normal or not. I wear spec also having hyperopia.

I am using three oral rinses hydroxyl (1.5%), betadine (2%with water) and click on intervals of ten minutes and 10 ml each. Now I am facing mouth ulcer is this is a side effect of any mouthwash? My all the skin of lower tongue becomes red and swelling.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user why you using all these three mouth rinses. Stop using all these three together. Use one at time and only two to thee times after diluting it with water not as a raw. These swelling and redness is due to all this.
