If I do sex without condom with my partner and ejaculate inside then what would be the probability of getting her pregnant, if both of us are fully functional. Is there any time period during the menstrual cycle, during which we can do sex without any protection and still avoid pregnancy without any pills? And also what is good time for sexual intercourse to create a ZYGOTE. Please take menstruation as reference point for both questions.

1-if ejaculation inside and if period around ovulation day of female then yes chance of pregnancy. 2-avoiding pregnancy by avoiding only certain days of period method is called safe period method which is unsafe meaning high failure rate. Ovulation happens 14 days prior to next expected period means in woman with regular 28 days cycle happens 14 days after menstrual period. 3- ovulation day mentioned above is good time for zygote.

Hello, there are many reasons for delayed menses , but initially we start by giving you Pulsatilla 200 ch , 5 drops , once daily in the morning for 7 days. IF menses start in between 7 days then please stop Pulsatilla. IF menses do not start even after taking this medicine then we will go for investigations.

If you are having bleeding or any other symptoms like pain, infertility, urinary problems etc, then you should go for treatment. And as your hb is low, if it' s due to bleeding fibroid, we have to raise hb and at the same time treat you.

Super Fact of the Day: The brain activates the same amount of power as a 10-watt light bulb!
The image of a light bulb over the head when a great idea occurs is not entirely false. Your brain generates as much energy as a small 10-watt light bulb even while you are asleep.

7 Tips For Countless Calories

7 Tips For Countless Calories

Counting calories is one of the most popular ways of dietary management for weight management. It is not always easy to do when you're out or pressed for time, may be in a situation like dinner party, hiking, etc.
Here are some basic guidelines to follow when straight calorie counting is impractical.
1. Eat foods that are filling and low in calories. That means, as often as possible, your meals and snacks should include whole grains, such as brown rice, whole-wheat bread, and oatmeal, as well as legumes, such as lentils and other beans. And don't forget to fill at least half your plate with fruits and vegetables.
2. When you eat meat, cut out fat and cut down portion sizes. Choose lean cuts of meat and modest amounts about 3 or 4 ounces per serving (which is roughly the size of your palm).
3. Avoid fried foods. Frying foods adds fat and calories. For stove top cooking, it's better either to stir-fry foods in a non-stick pan lightly coated with a cooking-oil spray or to braise them in broth or wine. Baking, broiling, and roasting are also great options.
4. Choose low-fat or fat less dairy foods. Milk, yogurt, and cheese are good sources of protein and calcium, but the whole-milk versions of these dairy products are very high in fat.
5. Avoid fast foods. Hamburgers, chicken nuggets, french fries, and other fast-food staples tend to promote weight gain for two reasons. First, they are high in fat, calories, or both. Second, the" value meals" available at many fast-food chains are often excessively large and tempt you to overeat.
6. Avoid high-calorie, low-nutrient snacks. Chips and other deep-fried snacks are high in fat and therefore calories. But even snacks labelled" low-fat" are often high in calories because they contain large amounts of sugars and other carbohydrates.
7. Watch what you drink. Regular sodas, fruit juices, and, especially, alcoholic beverages are high in calories.

Hello if your pregnancy test was positive and the bleeding started after that, you can go for a pelvic sonogram. If this is normal, you can assume that the pregnancy test was false positive. Otherwise get your investigations done to rule out hormonal imbalance.

unlikely she is pregnant with this episode. As it is 5 days already since the episode she will have to wait patiently to see if her next period comes on time, Also I would suggest she get a PAP smear done as she has had poscoital bleeding i.e bleeding after sex.

Super fact of the day - 20th October, 2015

M.B.B.S., M.D.

Super fact of the day - 20th October, 2015
Super fact of the day: Kidneys filter blood about 300 times a day!

All the blood in your body (about 5-6 liters) passes through the kidneys about 300 times. Which totals to about 1700 liters. It makes around 170 liters of primary urine - which later becomes urine.

Hi lybrate-user. Welcome to lybrate. Chances of pregnancy because sex during periods is very low but it could result in infections for sure. Hence I would not suggest you to have sex during periods.

Is there any possibility to getting pregnant by oral sex? As he have a oral sex with his gf.

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Hello- No, you can't get pregnant following oral sex. The truth is, a girl can't get pregnant this way, even if she swallows sperm. But you can catch STIs through oral sex, including gonorrhoea, chlamydia and herpes. It's safer to use a condom on a penis if you have oral sex.
