How to increase memory power. so, please help me?

Ask Free Question
Dear , memory and mind power consists of understanding, storing and recollection of information you learn. Understanding depends on concentration. The more creative you are on doing tasks or reading, the more you understand. Storage and recollection depends on your understanding and how well you review what you have learned. Repetition and review of material learned and other tasks provides easy recollection. You can improve your concentration and total brain power with the help of green leafy vegetables, exercise, creative activities, number puzzles like sudoku etc. Hard work is the key to learning and recollection.

You seem to be suffering from depression. But what is the paranoia about? It would be better off you could talk about your problem in detail. Getting evaluated by a psychiatrist might help you to get treatment

After dat when my turn comes I will go to his consultation room he talks all about my treatment and he NVR misbehaved with me till day BT he just asks abt what I do my qualification date BT everytym I go he will say Mr. dn 5 time see you see you. Bye I don undstd why this ,recently I had an appointment, like before he again came outside and he stared at me and went back ,after I entered his room he smiled nd said hi you look very bright nd he jst stared me once more nd askd whthr I applied any make up I said no jst d sunscreen wich he prescribed me then he said more dn thrice your looking bright fair .nd he told drs a lot of improvement n ma skin nd he gv me d prescription list nd told me to come after two months ,wn I stood up to leave he askd me you don hv work today I said no I took leave ,after dat v HD sm conversation reg my visit, something cm into his tip of d tongue BT he jst cntlrld dat was nt v wanted to tlk BT wt I flt z lyk he wanted to ask something else instead of dat may b ma contact no r he thot I may ask fr his contact no BT both of us dint after dat I said fine nd ready to leave frm his room his facial expression was nt good lyk smthng he was tryn to hide BT he dint fgt to say 4 tymz see. It is not unusual for a doctor to become attracted to you and in his attempt to control himself he may be losing it. This is my assumption and I am guessing all this from the information you are saying. If in case this true and you are uncomfortable, you should insist on visiting him only in the company of your mother or father or a friend. This will prevent any such nonsense and make him act professionally. You also need to be curt with him and ask him if what he is doing is professional and required for your treatment. You need to be careful, especially if it goes out of control. If it seems, in anyway, nearing such a possibility then the responsible thing to do is to change the doctor: there are plenty of those professionals all over and they are good too. You have to be responsible and act before anything can develop beyond your control. Be proactive always.

Hi there ~ having inferiority complex and feeling nervous while attending interviews are symptoms of social phobia or social anxiety. I am sure you are very intelligent and hence you seem to know the answers but are not able to express due to anxiety. I recommend that you visit with a psychologist or a counselor to have yourself treated for social phobia through relaxation techniques and mindfulness meditation. Medications may also be helpful in which case you need to visit with a psychiatrist. Hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!

Stress is a by product of our modern life style. Due to chronic stress you have a negative chain of thought repeating in your mind. The wonderful new is that our mind could be wired to switch back to positive things and resilience building. When things does not happen as we wish or people do not behave as we expect that is when out of disappointment, frustration, loneliness, anger, sadness. Etc we react and our mind starts thinking negative thoughts. Changing this pattern of responding to stressful situation requires both persistence and patience. Also you will only be able to work on this out of love and kindness towards you. Strong motivation will go a long way. Writing a statement about how would you want to respond in a similar situation and how will your life and your happiness will change if you do learn to manage your stress and how to respond to it. Once that is clear. Try following things to learn relaxation response which leads to better coping mechanism on a daily basis. To begin with doing guided progressive muscular relaxation before sleeping will help you relax. You could google and download an audio file. I would also suggest you to take a multiple small break to take 3 nice and deep breath while keeping your eyes closed. You could do this while sitting or standing or while even walking or climbing stairs (keep your eyes open in that case). When you take a nice and deep break there is actual physiological change in your body. This will help you to activate parasympathetic nervous system which promotes relaxation and helps you calm down and think more clearly. This will also actually improve your performance in your work. Along with this exercise is one of the best way to relive stress and stay fit. Engage in any kind of physical activity at least 4 times a week. This also helps in stress reduction. Along with this some relaxation exercises as well as engaging in joyful activities such as music, singing, dancing, reading, being in nature, gardening, talking with friends or anything which you enjoy will help reducing stress and rejuvenation of your mind and body. Have good routine for sleep and eating. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Along with this also increase consumption of raw vegetables in the form of salad in both the meals of your day. As a positive psychologist and a certified life and wellness coach I would be able to help build resilience and confidence to take on life and learn how to excel in what you do. Hope this helps. Wishing you very best.

How to improve concentration power.

Stress can foil memory and concentration. The distraction it leads to will not allow focus on a particular topic or subject. So locate the stressor and deal with it soon to recover good memory. It will be easier to work with a counselor on the emotions that are causing the stress. Although concentration is different to memory, they can affect each other. In the meantime do some of the following: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night?s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, broccoli, blueberries, fish, coconut oil, wheat sprouts, tomatoes, sunflower seeds, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling.

You can chew Nicorette gum which is nicotine replacement. There are medicines available. Which can be prescribed if asked personally Cigarette smoking is a leading preventable cause of mortality. It kills more than 60 lakh people worldwide every year. More than 50% of regular smokers would invariably die from tobacco-related illnesses which includes heart attack, cancer or asthmatic lung diseases. Best age to stop smoking is before 40 31st May is “World No Tobacco Day” Quitting smoking before the age of 40 is associated with larger decline in premature death than stopping it at a later date. Best age therefore to stop smoking is before 40. However, stopping smoking even after the age of 50 is still associated with lower risk of death as compared to those who continue to smoke. Even in smokers aged 80 years or more, quitting smoking appears to reduce some mortality.
