Kindly get a check up done even after treatment is done you might need some yearly checkups so that ... it doesn't aggravate more .. even after treatment done. .. there are certain injections given inside mouth for five days .. and after that there is a wait and watch period ...and some medications are also given for a period of 6 months ...this will take some time you would have to have patience ...

Doctor, I'm having black spots on my tongue N sharp pain when eating pepper or spicy food. Sometimes I don't find sweet things sweet, so I've to double up the sugar in tea. Is it side effect of digene gel? As I've been taking it for my acid reflux. What shall I do?

Dentist, Gurgaon
Acid reflux itself can cause burning of mouth.in fever also some time patients have burning mouth and burning tongue there can be many reasons for burning tongue like vitamin deficiency. Avoid spicy food. And in most of cases burning goes away by its own in 7-10 days. If possible share pictures of tongue.

Avoid getting your tooth extracted unless its non salvageable, it will help in the long run. Always insist on preserving your natural dentition.

Do you use your teeth for cracking nuts, removing bottle tops or ripping open packaging? If yes, then stop doing it because  the purpose of our teeth is to chew food. Using them for performing any other supplementary activities may lead to broken or chipped teeth.

I have mouth ulcer I took zytee and Tess bt it's not working tel me some good ointment.
If an ulcer is not responding to topical anaesthetic or corticosteroid for more than one week it's better to visit a dentist to rule out other causes of ulcers some of which needs attention immediately.

The type of treatment you have for toothache will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. If your toothache is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. If your toothache is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. If your toothache can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed.
