Your preventive methods need to review and also consult dentist about how to brush. Brushing twice a day and flossing before sleeping may be helpful.

Hi. Back pain may be due to various reasons. If it is only due to over strain or weakness of muscles. Then spinal extension exercises and core stabilisation exercises will work good. Its better to consult a physiotherapist before going for exercises. Good luck.

Swimming injuries most commonly occur as a result of: overtraining poor technique sudden spike in workload (non-graduated) treatment involves manual therapy but more importantly, finding the root cause of the injury and modifying stroke technique to prevent the issue from reoccurring. Common treatment modalities include: adopt a good stroke technique mix it up! avoid overtraining in one particular style of swimming core strengthening, rotator cuff strengthening and land based exercises done pre, post and during your swimming season. Tens machine. Ultrasound. Mobilisations and manipulations. Rest, ice, compression, elevation (rice). Please see a physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your condition. Best wishes.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

To managesciatica pain, you may find that certain positions and activities are more comfortable than others. The proper exercises from a physiotherapist will help reduce sciatic pain. The exercises recommended will depend on what's causing the sciatica. It's important to work with a specialist who has experience working with people with sciatica. It's also important to do the exercises exactly as directed. Here are some home treatments for sciatica which you can follow: -do not bend, lift, or sit in a soft, low chair; the pain will get worse. -try a cold pack to see if it helps the pain. If you don't have a cold pack, use a large bag of frozen vegetables; it makes a good first aid cold pack. -after the cold massages, try alternating with heat from hot bag. -you may feel better lying on your back on a firm surface with a pillow under knees. Another option is lying on side with a pillow between the knees to keep the back straight. Also, a recliner chair is helpful. -do activities one is able to tolerate. Best wishes.

Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
