I have been diagnosed with mild cervical spondylosis about an year ago and doctor had suggested me to do couple of neck strengthening exercises. But even after that I feed heavy pain radiating to my shoulders. Kindly let me know what is the exact remedy.

Cervical spondylosis is a disease which is related with the profession, you can start some ayurvedic medicines and some yoga postures which will definitely help your cause and will prevent the recurrence. Start ashwagandharistha 3tsp thrice a day with equal amount of water after meals, with this start bala tail nasal drops with 2-2 drops twice a day, and tab panchamrit loha guggulu 1 tab. Thrice a day, yoga postures like bhujangasana will surely add to your quick recovery.

Hi I can understand your problem. Stop gym workout till pain subsides. Apply cold pack for 20 min. Thrice a day for 5 days. I can teach you exercises to help stretch and strengthen the muscles in your neck and shoulders. Do reply for specific treatment plan. Wishing you a good health.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again.

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days. Best treated with ayurved & panchakarma procedures. 1) massage + steam 2) pinda swedan 3) agnikarma you must start ayurvedic medicines to 1) strengthen bones & muscles. 2) stop further degeneration of joint. 3) healing of joint. 4) release muscular spasm even chronic. 5) reduce swelling & pain.

Advice…. Hot Fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction. Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily Bhujang Asana x 15 timesx twice daily Core Strengthening Exercises. Back Stretching.

I met wid an accident later on m getting pain in my left leg starting from the gluteus some times gluteus to down to the calf. Taken MRI the report showing that. L4-L5 disc shows that posterior central and left para central disc extrusion producing moderate thecal and lateral recess nerve root compression. L5-S1 disc shows that posterior central and bilateral para central disc protrusion producing mild thecal and bilateral lateral recess nerve root compression. What does it means. What are the steps I have to take to get rid of this. And what are the precautions I have to take or any medication. And is it any risky situation? Thanks in advance.

The pain you are getting is due to compression of nerves at lower back (sciatic nerve) and the pain is sciatica. Regular exercise will help to release compression over the nerve. Exercise includes leg lifting at perpendicular position by lying down. Exercises are given in my health feed. If pain is severe you should take medicine for some days. Consult if you need any help.

If the curvature of the spine is less than I will suggest you to do only physiotherapy treatment and if the curvature is more than I will suggest you to get it corrected surgically.

I am 62 I am having swollen foot for past one months on my right leg and it already comes for me earlier and I am having asthma problem and till now I have not had any cardiac problem I am using action-or tab as pain tablet as per doctor suggestion.

Hello sir, foot swelling can be due to multiple causes. For a person of your age, causes related to organ systems have to be ruled out which your physician will be the best person to do it. I would also require more details regarding the swelling, like is there any pain what are the relieving factors was there any injury You can get back to me with these details so I can come up with an interim solution.

Hello Doctor Jab se ye winters shuu hui h mere panv ki nas bahut jyada chadhne lag gayi h.raat ko sote sote need me hi achank se dard shuru ho jata h or kuch Der rub krne pe sahi hoti h. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.
