We are encouraging her to speak slowly and clearly and also taken speech therapist help and now she speaks some words clearly. Could you please suggest some medications or treatment so that she speaks clearly. Also, she don't like to eat food. We have to spent almost 1 hour or so for feeding 1 chapati. Thanks!

What is short stature. What is growth failure?
What is a growth disorder?

A growth disorder is any type of problem in infants, children, or teenagers that prevents normal growth. Normal growth depends upon several factors, such as nutrition, genetics, and hormones (chemical messengers of the body). Hormones are necessary for normal growth and development; they regulate the body's growth, metabolism (the physical and chemical processes of the body), and sexual development and function.

Endocrine (hormonal) causes of growth disorders include thyroid hormone deficiency (hypothyroidism), growth hormone deficiency, hypopituitarism, or other hormone disorders. However, some growth problems are not necessarily growth disorders; normal variants of growth patterns include genetic short height (familial short stature) and slow growth/delayed puberty (constitutional growth delay).

Although growth hormone was originally used to treat growth hormone deficiency (this group of patients respond the best to growth hormone therapy), there have been other conditions for which growth hormone therapy has been approved for use. These include Turner syndrome, chronic renal insufficiency, Prader-Willi syndrome, and children who were small for gestational age and have not caught up in their growth by the age of two years. In 2003 the FDA approved the use of growth hormone for children who have

When to start food for my 6months daughter and should I feed her other than milk?

When to start food for my 6months daughter and should I feed her other than milk?
At the end of 6 months. Start weaning first with soft semisolid foods like suji ka halwa, bananas, mashed potatoes, slowly in a few weeks add more solid. At the end of 1 year, your child should take 3 big katories of meals, and 2-3 snacks in between. You can also start top milk (cow's milk) over and above breast feeds. Breast feeding should be continued till 2 years.

How can a ADHD child be treated. What exactly happens in their brain. Is this any neuron defect.
ADHD child can be treated the disease causes abnormal electrical impulses in brain and the child needs counseling as well Certain parts of the brain may be less active or smaller in children with ADHD than those without the disorder. The brain chemical dopamine, which carries signals between nerves in the brain and is linked to movement, sleep, mood, attention, and learning, may also play a role.

Use of stimulant decreases the symptoms to a much good effect and if we don't give stimulant medication There will be more of conduct disorder and progress in disease and for side effects we have to monitor the person and advice them accordingly
