Eat lot of fruits & green leafy vegetables & drink plenty of water. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need coronoplasty (smoothen teeth edges) along with t. Rebagen 10, morning one tab & one at night for 5 days, c. Becosules 5 cap, for five days in the morning after meals. Hexigel ointment on the area of ulcer. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. How to Get Your Smile Ready for Wedding Season

BDS
Dentist, Bangalore
How to Get Your Smile Ready for Wedding Season

With the wedding season nearly approaching, you should be ready for several parties and gatherings and lots of photographs to be clicked. You would surely want to look good on every wedding occasion. Hence you should make sure that your teeth are at their best, when it comes to looking good. The teeth are responsible for shaping the perfect smile, and so you must take measures to make your teeth look stunning in order to get your smile ready for the upcoming wedding season.

Here are some tips on how you should take care of your teeth:

  1. Whiten your teeth: You can avail a quick whitening service for your teeth from a dental clinic. This will make your teeth brighter and much whiter, which will enhance your smile. Always get teeth whitening done from a clinic instead of using whiteners bought from stores, as the latter do not work as effectively. Moreover, teeth whitening done at a clinic is not much expensive.
  2. Maintain proper oral hygiene: If you want to get perfectly white teeth ready for the wedding season, you should maintain your oral hygiene routine strictly. Brushing and flossing should be practiced regularly, and you should also use a mouthwash. Brush two times a day and take time to brush. Maintain healthy teeth to make them look beautiful and get the most perfect smile.
  3. Use strategic makeup colors: Several colors can be used to enhance the whiteness of your teeth. Using bright red lipstick would make the teeth look better and brighter with a nice overall contrast. You can choose from different shades of red, pink or cherry of a warm tone. Blue toned lipsticks make a bad contrast against stains and the yellow tinge on the teeth is brought out. You can also use a Bronzer.
  4. Remove stains: You should try to remove any stain from your teeth and ensure that no further stains are caused. After having any dark beverage like red wine or syrup drinks, make sure to remove the stains instantly. This can be done simply by wiping the stains with a napkin.
  5. Keep your face and smile relaxed: For the most beautiful and natural smile, you should have a relaxed facial expression. Avoid making hyperactive expressions as these make your smile look artificial. Do not show an expression that looks as if a lot of effort has been put into it. The most beautiful smile is a natural one.

Following these tips, you will be able to get your smile ready for the wedding season. Your smile will be at its best, and you will look amazing in every single picture that will be clicked. If you wish to discuss about any specific dental problem, you can consult a specilized dentist and ask a free question.

Mr. Lybrate-user, when your teeth enamel is damaging you immediately need to take care of it. Teeth have three layers, enamel-dentin-pulp. So when the enamel is damaged the dentin is exposed leading to weaker and caries prone teeth. See your nearest dentist and either to a filling or a crown/cap work done.

Hello, Halitosis, also called bad breath, is a symptom in which a noticeably unpleasant odor is present on the exhaled breath. Of those who have genuine halitosis, often the odor is caused by bacteria present below the gumline and on the back of the tongue. Rest of them is accounted for by many different conditions, including disorders in the nasal cavity, sinuses, throat, lungs, esophagus, stomach or elsewhere. Very rarely, halitosis can be one of many symptoms of a serious underlying medical condition such as liver failure; but, in the vast majority of cases, the cause is minor and can often be reduced by adjustments to oral hygiene, including brushing or gently scraping the back of the tongue and improving the health of the gums by using dental floss. The intensity of bad breath may differ during the day, due to eating certain foods (such as garlic, onions, meat, fish, and cheese), smoking,[12] and alcohol consumption. Since the mouth is exposed to less oxygen[medical citation needed] and is inactive during the night, the odor is usually worse upon awakening (" morning breath"). Bad breath may be transient, often disappearing following eating, drinking, tooth brushing, flossing, or rinsing with specialized mouthwash. So, in your case, need to make a diagnosis for right medicine. Medication: Use homoeopathic SBL’s Homeodent toothpaste twice (morning & night) a day daily. Use Cinnamon Q (mother tincture) diluted with water for gargling or use Bakson’s Perio Aid mouthwash after every meal. And take orally - Merc. Sol. 30/ twice a day daily for 2 weeks. Then revert.

If plaque accumulates in your mouth and you are unable to get rid of it despite brushing daily, there is another way out. Waterjets hare devices which blast pressurised streams of water to remove plaque from the deep areas of your mouth can be used.

Hi. I am an orthodontist by profession. Yes definitely your teeth can be straightened and we can give you a very beautiful smile and boost your confidence. The only thing required are healthy teeth. Braces treatment takes around 1 to one and half year. And since you are very young I would advise you to go in for an orthodontic/braces treatment.

I have hypersalivation problem from two years. I feel irritated as my tongue feels rough. Please tell me some solution.
Hypersalivation and rough tongue seems inter-related in your case. You might have fungal infection on your tongue. Take medicine for that and do regular cleaning of your tongue alongwith teeth.

I can not able to open my mouth using tobaccos. Only 2 fingers are going inside my mouth .

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
I can not able to open my mouth using tobaccos. Only 2 fingers are going inside my mouth .
Quit habits strictly. Seems like you have oral submucous fibrosis (osmf). Kindly consult an oral & maxillo facial surgeon in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need conservative or surgical management for mouth opening depending upon the stage of osmf. Advise full mouth opening, ballooning exercise & side to side movement of the jaw. Wrap 25 to 30 ice-cream sticks, make a bundle, put it between upper & lower front teeth for 15 minutes thrice a day increase 1 sticks each day.
