BRAMARI PRANAYAM is the answer.After coming home after a hectic school do this pranayam for 5 minutes and you will feel relaxed. BRAMARI PRANAYAM or Bee Breath 1.Close your eyes. Focus on your breathing. 2.Place your thumbs in your ears, your index fingers above your eyebrows, and your remaining along the sides of your nose. Keep each pinky finger near a nostril. 3.Breath in deeply through the nose. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last. .4.Use your pinkies to partially close each nostril. Keep your lungs filled. .5.Breathe out through the nose while humming. Note that the humming sound should originate in your throat, not as a result of your partially-blocked nostrils. 6.Repeat twenty times.starting from 5 times Homoeopathic medicine KALI PHOS 6X ( Dr Reckeweg) Chew 4 tab twice daily SPONDYAID ( BAKSON) Drink 10 drops in 20 ml fresh water 2 times daily CALCAREA PHOS 6X ( Dr Reckeweg) Chew 4 tab once daily Report after 15 days

I am 41 years old I am suffering from left shoulder back side and left hand pain.
Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

Hello, thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Please tell me duration of pain and what was the initiating factor for it? what medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. I would like to know whether you have got your inflammatory profile done till now and whether calcium and vitamin d testing/supplementation has been done. Also please let me know what all exercises you are doing on a daily basis. Normally such kind of pain especially walking on stairs at your age is due to a condition called as chondromalacia in which there is softening of cartilage of knee cap. Improper food habits and sedentary lifestyle can lead to impairment of digestive fire, formation of ama (toxin) and vitiation of Vata (air). When a person indulges in Vata-aggravating diet and lifestyle, then this aggravated Vata circulates ama in the channels of the body and deposits it in the joints, causing pain in knees. U can try the home remedies below ::: Follow up after 10 days.. 1.. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. 2.. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. 3.. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. 4.. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 5.. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling. 6. Take lakshaadi guggul 2 tab twice daily with maharasnaadi qwath 1 hr after meals.

She had problem with speech and language skills and walking also. Go and consult the speech therapist and find the accurate level of comprehension and expression age and then start speech and language therapy. Consult physiotherapy.

Use cervical pillow. Advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation.

For neck. Avoid computer work. Avoid strain. Do physiotherapy treatment like ultrasonic therapy and SWD. Avoid heavy weight. Do stretching exercises if possible.

I am a 16 year old boy, recently the amount of back aches I am having is more compared to earlier and its sudden so I don't know. I am fit, I play badminton, sports, go jogging etc.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Sir I take push ups 50 and above since 4 years but my left side shoulder become larger than right side also having pain in shoulder and neck region but range of motion are normal in both sides. How I overcome with larger shoulder and pain. But since I doing 50 push ups.

You can try hot fomentation and limb elevation. Avoid putting weight on the limb. Apply crepe bandage during waking hours. You can give a mild analgesic like Paracetamol.

Hi Faritha There could be many reason of weight gain. You are gaining weight due to hormone and metabolic imbalance in body. Hormonal imbalance can be treated with right food and supplement exm. chapati, rice, bread, potato.
