I have a white spot on my hand's figure and below it. please tell me what is this.

I have a white spot on my hand's figure and below it. please tell me what is this.
Hello. White patches/ dots on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy, or autoimmune disorder. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor (associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches). This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily with over-the-counter medications. The white spots and patches can also be because of deficiency of vitamin d (for which 15-20 minutes of exposure to early morning sunlight without sunscreen is needed, 3-4times a week). Or else they could be idiopathic (i. E, without any cause). Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder which can be treated with homoeopathic medicines, but chances of relapses are also there. Please tell me other symptoms like about sensation on the area, since how long do you have this patch, any family history of white patch, etc. Meantime, you can start with homoeopathic medicines - cina 1m/ one dose daily at night and ars. Sulph. Flavum. 200/ twice daily for 20 days (it is safe). Apply a good brand's sunscreen with spf 40 on the skin (specially on the white patches/ spots) 20-30 minutes before going out under the sunscreen and reapply it after 3-4 hrs. Again.

Hello, Use a sebum reduction face wash like Sebamed face wash. Apply Sunscreen 3 times a day. There are various treatment for pigmentation. From creams containing hydroquinone to milder ones of Kojic acid, niacinamide, arbutin. There is options of glutathione injections to oral tablets with vitamin C, also laser toning also gives good results. But what you need to understand us nothing is permanent and you will need to maintain with continuous usage and also protect from sun damage. Consult a certified Dermatologist before you start any cream.

Dear lybrate-user! Do not worry about the skin problem I will suggest general skin care 1. Wash the affected area with normal water 2. Apply only pure coconut oil or olive oil, do not apply any ointment unless prescribed by the physician 3. Do not apply any native medicine on it, some times some substance may induce the problem more 4. Eat fresh vegetables and fruits 5. Do not expose the affected area to heat or dust 6. Wash your cloths with dettol and dry it in the sun 7. Change your dress which are too old 8. Do not allow much perspiration in the affected area. 9. If any food substance cause itching, note it and avoid it. 10. Do not take any self medication without doctors knowledge. Thank you For more details contact us in private section.

My face is too oily what I am can do for removing the face problem to please give me advice.
*To control the oily secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive oily secretion on face. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging. Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 minutes. • Drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. Apply rose water on your face daily for 5 minutes. * Take proper sleep of 6 to 7 hrs daily. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. *You can apply cucumber juice or mixed with curd for 5 minutes and rinse with water.

I am suffering from sunburn on my face and hand yesterday so what is precaution for that and which medicine is for that?

MBBS, Diploma in Venerology & Dermatology (DVD)
Dermatologist, Delhi
I am suffering from sunburn on my face and hand yesterday so what is precaution for that and which medicine is for that?
Sunburns are bad! They can cause pain, peeling, and pre-mature aging of the skin in the form of wrinkles and age spots. By using sunscreen, wearing protective clothing, and seeking shade, you can prevent sunburns. The following tips are ways to ease the pain of sunburn and possibly lessen the damage: Keep it Cool: Apply cold compresses, such as a washcloth or towel dampened in cool water, to the sunburned skin or take a cool bath. Moisturize: After applying cold compresses or taking a cool bath/shower, soothe the skin by spreading on aloe or a moisturizing cream or lotion. Avoid products that contain alcohol, which can dry out the skin. Do this several times to lessen the peeling and flaking. It may be beneficial to use a cream or lotion with vitamin C and vitamin E. Also using a hydrocortisone cream for a couple of days can relieve discomfort. It is advised not to scrub, pick or peel your skin, or bust blisters. Hydrate: A sunburn pulls fluid to the surface of the skin and away from your body, so it is important to rehydrate your body with extra water, juice, and sports drinks for a few days. Evaluate the Damage: The majority of sunburns can be treated at home, but if the blistering burn covers 20% or more of the body, see a dermatologist. Always use sunscreen, cover up with hats and protective clothing, and try to stay out of the sun between 10 a.m. And 4 p.m.
