PIMPLE Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin E on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin E to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study , applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing

Soya, sprouts kidney beans are good source of protein, green leafy vegetables like methi palak, Sag etc plus oranges apples are good fibre diet. Whole wheat patanjali attached is good as carb, nutri nuggets are good for protein as well .paneer ,is good y do you need a substitute.

Hi, You mean pimples on face? Right? Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash 2 to 3 times a day daily (wash your face with warm or lukewarm water only) which is followed by CTMP, i.e. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) except at night when you just need to wash your face before going to bed. -Take healthy food only and avoid unhealthy ones (although sebaceous glands are not excretory glands then as well!) as what you eat is reflected on your face! -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension as it encourages secretion of stress hormone in the body as this affects skin or any other tissue of the body. -Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water in a day. -Take 6-8 hrs. Of sound sleep everyday. -Don't use others towels, handkerchief on your face as well as never share yours. -Never ever rub your face as it damages the skin (even towel should be dab on skin softly) and breakouts of acne get worsened! -Maintain hygiene, wash your face 2-3 times in a day, changes the pillow covers, bed sheet daily, use cotton bed sheet only (try to sleep on your back). Home remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 30 days.

In established cases of rheumatoid arthritis dmrd (disease modifying drugs) e. G. Methotraxate, hcqs, lefunomide, saaz etc. Have to be used. They all are toxic drugs & can cause bone marrow depression along with other side effects. They should be taken under medical supervision. Some times steroids may have to used. Kindly adjust the dose to minimum required, to control your symptoms. Have your tests done periodically to rule out any side effects. Kindly show me x rays of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder.

For smoothness of skin • Apply or rub one teaspoon of honey on your face and leave it for 30 minutes, and then wash off it. Honey is best moisturiser. • You can use two teaspoons of milk with two teaspoons of honey and a pinch of sugar mix it and apply it for 10 minutes on your face and then wash off it. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily. • You can apply aloevera gel on your face. It will smooth your skin. • Use moisturizer contain Vitamin E Or take two capsules of vitamin E (cap Evion, open it and squeeze out their liquid on your palm or directly mix it with cream or moisturizer you have and apply daily on it on your face at night daily • Apply less make up on your face and remove it at night before sleeping.

Few months ago in accident my upper tooth has half broken and closer tooth is paining now and also little bit damaged. I just want to know that what will be expanses for treatment of this. Also I want to tooth implants for both tooths.

You do not need implants if half tooth is present go for rct and cap for both upper teeth in question. Cost will be around 16k to 25k for two teeth rct and cap included. Variation if cost depends on procedures needed during the treatment and type of cap material. The added procedures may be Apicoectomy and splinting. If you go for extraction and implants cost will rise to 50k and above for 2 teeth.

Hair fall may be attributed to different reasons like using artificial colors, hair styling, chemicals improper diet, acidity & gas, more exposure to sun, spicy sour n salty food, to much curd day sleep, lack of vitamins & other nutrients, anger & stress, due to previous illness etc. Please go for herbal neem shampoo. Use shikakai and amla as conditioner (soak amla and shikakai in water overnight and boil a little in morning). Apply it on hairs. Keep for half an hour and then wash. It will condition the hairs.

It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. The lower end of the vertebral column is inflamed and that bone is called coccyx bone and the condition is called Coccydynia. The conservative management would be to keep ice in that inflamed area during one time in a day and also to sit in a hot water bowl where the penetration of the heat would help to reduce the inflammation. And to reduce the weight falling on the inflammed surface we suggest patients to use air cushion pillow (also called as doughnut pillow) where in the buttock's weight will not fall exactly on the painful tail bone and that would automatically reduce the pain.

Dear lybrate user, use your bed only for sleeping and not for other activities. Switch off the lights and other gadgets like television and mobile before you go to sleep. If you are not into reading books, please start now. You may read your favourite book during night time. The eye strain may induce sleep. You can have a bath before going to sleep. It is also known to induce sleep. Please do not sleep in the afternoon. That is the main reason for not getting sleep early at night.

Please ask somebody to massage your spinal column from neck down up to sacral bone using both hands ie both thumbs on one side other fingers on other side do only from neck and not from sacral to the neck. Yo can also use a wooden roller purchased from a acupressure items shop. Split your food to 5 times a day instead of 3 times in small portions. Chew for a longer time before swallowing. Go for a regular walk morning and evening. Consult me after 10 days

Hi lybrate-user firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.

You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. For a start please follow: 1.Cut down the excess carbs. If you want to lose weight you should start by avoiding sugar and starch (like bread). A low carb diet reduces your hunger and makes it easier to eat less. And it might even increase your fat burning at rest. 2.Don’t skip meals. Skipping meals will not make you lose weight faster. That strategy backfires because your body thinks food is in short supply, so it slows your metabolism in order to conserve energy. Over time, the result is that when you do eat — even if you consume the same foods as always — your body will be slower to use the calories as fuel, thus creating a backlog of unwanted pounds. 3.Stay hydrated. You've heard it before, and you'll hear it again. That's because drinking 64 ounces of water daily is one of the easiest ways to speed up weight loss. Your body needs water in order to efficiently metabolize stored fat. When you shortchange your supply, you're likely to slow down that process, meaning it's more difficult for you to burn calories. An easy eight glasses a day (at least!) will keep your system running smoothly. 4.Start exercising. Strength training builds lean muscle tissue, which burns more calories — at work or at rest — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The more lean muscle you have, the faster you'll slim down. How do you start strength training? Try some push-ups or a few squats or lunges. Use your free weights to perform simple biceps curls or triceps pulls right in your home or office. Do these exercises three to four times per week, and you'll soon see a rapid improvement in your physique. 5.Go for an evening walk. An evening activity may be particularly beneficial because many people's metabolism slows down toward the end of the day. Thirty minutes of aerobic activity before dinner increases your metabolic rate and may keep it elevated for another two or three hours, even after you've stopped moving. What that means for you: Those dinner calories have less of a chance to take up permanent residence on your hips. 6.Take adequate rest. You should also make an effort to get enough good sleep, preferably every night. Strive to wake up refreshed of your own accord, independently of the alarm clock. If you’re the kind of person who always gets brutally woken up by the alarm ringing, you might never be giving your body adequate rest. 7.Supplement vitamins and minerals. Nutrient-dense, good food is certainly the foundation of weight loss. But an adequate amount of vitamin D can be difficult to ingest via food. In the case of a lack of sun (such as during the darker months of autumn and winter), it’s wise to supplement for multiple health reasons – and perhaps even for your weight.

Hi so I have horrible dark circles around my eyes which do not go in spite of adequate sleep and it's not a hereditary problem either. For a year now I've been using make up to cover it but recently my boyfriend broke up with me and he was harsh enough to say that I look the worst without make up which has made me so depressed over time that all I do is cry now and the stress is affecting me in other parts as well and I have lost all my hopes of getting rid of these ugly ass rings around my eyes. Please do NOT give me any natural remedies because I'm tired of them, I've tried in vain for 3 years now and I want something that's the most effective and the quickest way to make them go away. The longer I live with these dark circles, the more I feel suicidal. I do not want to be wearing make up my whole life.

As per your complain dark circles can occur due to causes like -Excessive stress. -Malnutrition. -Overuse of mobiles and laptops. -Sleep deprivation. -Allergies etc. I would suggest you to first of all reduce stress by doing meditation and breathing exercises. Take sufficient sleep. Avoid excess use of gadgets. You can start applying creams containing Kojic acid and Vitamin E. Grapeseed extract containing creams are helpful. You can also put pieces of cucumber over the closed eyes as it has soothing effects. You can also place grated potato over the eyes. Take multivitamin supplements. Drink plenty of water and take a nutritious diet. In case of no improvement consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can also advised lazer treatment for removing the dark circles.
